Basically my travel companion and I paid only £40 pounds each for 3 nights bed and breakfast which included a free hamaman so we really didn't expect much however we had requested twin beds which we had and they were very comfortable, the room was clean and the balcony overlooked the very congested road at the front of the hotel where we were morbidly mesmorised by the sheer volume of traffic and near misses. The water when trying to take showers at any time of day was only luke warm at best wh... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was lovely. The room was very comfortable and included a balcony. The check in was pleasant and given traditional tea on arrival. There is free wifi however the reception in the room is poor but fine in all the lobbies and restaurants etc. The only fault I would have would be on the lack on information given at check in eg what times breakfast is served, wifi codes etc. Other than that all staff were extremely friendly and always welcoming. Located in the heart of Gueliz this hotel is good stay for those that want to be away from Medina madness and have a feeling of Europe ;) Reception staff were very good, especially Khadija, who went above and beyond to make sure our honeymoon gets better ( we were let down by another hotel chain). Another girl was nice, apart from young guy who works there. He needs to learn customer service skills - he would not change our room to another one, after we complained that toilet seat was broken, ba... Read more

I had higher expectations for this hotel mainly because it looked fabulous in the pictures. When entering the hotel you can tell the pictures were taken quite a while ago. The breakfast selection was very limited and lacked presentation. Personally, I pay a lot of attention to detail and noticed the hotel in general is in need of maintenance work. However, the staff working in this hotel were one of the main pros (friendly, helpful and polite). The location of this hotel is pretty good and is on... Read more

After our own rep suggested a visit for a view Marrakech from above we. Wouldn't resist! Stayed here for a drink while what Hong the hustle and bustle of the busy streets and the mountains in the distance, rooftop pool looked lovely! Service was fast and staff very polite. Worth a trip to the 6th floor for the view reception helpful and hotel looked very modern even the lift was funky!

The view is nice - yes. But many rooftops in Marrakech have that going for them. The maintenance of the bar itself is terrible - the cushions are in tatters and the whole place looks very gloomy.. when it gets windy, things fly about and no one really cares. Took 50 minutes to get our first drink and they couldn't care less. It was also massively over priced. One of the most expensive drinks bought in Marrakech, when you can go to spectacular places like Le Grand Cafe de la Poste where the dr... Read more

Breakfast is great, rooftop swimming pool is perfect for the hot weather, and staff is helpful and friendly. There is a nightclub in the basement (not busy, barely any clientele). I chose this hotel for it had a full bar and not as uptight as other more religious establishments. All in all a good stay.

No better way to relax and refresh than a cocktail by the roof terrace pool in Renaissance. Food delicious- and decent portions. Peace and tranquility before stepping out onto Mohamed 5. Love the atmosphere in the afternoon and come late evening the place really comes alive.

At a great location to get a feel of the new city. in the city centre. Value for money. Staff was a bit rude on two occasions but rest of them very friendly. breakfast was great on the rooftop with the most beautiful view. we explored Marrakesh on foot from here and absolutely loved it. The room is small but good linen and decent shower. we took a train from here to essaouira which was great as train station from her e is 5 mins away.

Can't comment on the actual hotel. But the sky bar was great. Cocktails were better than most in Marrakech and the view is great. Can imagine it being even better at night. Has a swimming pool aswell for those wanting to cool down. Would highly recommend.

During my stay, I was given 2 rooms on different floors that were smelly (I think a gutter problem that makes the smell seeps into the room 207 and 407), despite changing from one to the other, the smell was persistent. I also encountered some pestering from some of the staff of the two restaurants and even the room service when it came to payment of my meals, they always insisted on getting paid on the spot rather than charging to the room?!?!?

Very nice hotel. May need so refurbishing, but very clean and well maintained. Unusual rooms with some funky fusion design - oriental disco. I had a huge room. Much more than I needed, but perhaps all rooms are similar as I asked for a normal one. Bog bathroom and separate toilet, nicely equated. The cleaning lady was a great designer turning towels and blankets in flowers. Decent breakfast. Pretty fast free wifi. Very helpful staff, but if you need directions, better ask a cab driver.
