We stayed there 1 week. Nice hotel with large swimming pool, palms. I really like this place. Mixed people europeen, arabic. In couple or family you could enjoy. 10 minute from the city. With taxi cost you 30DH. Not so bad. Quite area to relax. Good also for business meeting. The rooms are big. Littel old style but acceptable. There is man at the reception called abdelmajid realy helpful. Thank you for all the recommendations you made for us.

Hotel le Semiramis offers you all the comfort you want if you visit Marrakech. Though it is not close to the old town, the interesting places can easily be visited by using the petit-taxi's in front of the hotel. The food (buffet) is excellent and the wonderful garden with bar and swimming pool makes relaxing after a long city walk simply great.

For the cost the hotel was good value, but I didn't pay much at all. Reception were not that welcoming, An information sheet was given reluctantly when I had trouble connecting to the poor wifi. Room was spacious and quite clean. Restaurant was reasonable. Once again the staff were not happy. The hotel has obviously seen better days, There was a lot of noise from within the hotel at night, not sure if it was guests or maintenance. But for my money i was satisfied.

Positives: Big nice and clean hotel. City center is 10mins away, only 4 dirhams (30p) one way and the bus stop is outside the hotel on the main road (1-2min walk) and takes you right to the main square. if you do decide to take a taxi i wouldn't pay no more than 20 dirhams but they will try to haggle you for 50 dirhams. i think a local pays 10 dirhams or less. Location - peaceful and quite. good shopping area outside for food which i used at lunch time with good options at good prices 5min wa... Read more

I stayed here prior to completing charity work in the Atlas Mountains. Reception staff were quite unfriendly and not very welcoming. We got put in a room which was quite nice but basic. At approx 1am we were woken by very loud music from the nightclub nearby which kept us awake until 5am. The next day we realised our patio door would not lock and had been open all night. Our room was cut off from anything else and had someone wanted to they could easily have broken in and stolen our belongings w... Read more

Country was great, but it was expensive. The pound isn't what it used to be. As for the hotel, well the food was not as good as other restaurants. The chef was rubbish. As for the wifi ? Had no wifi connection in my room, had to go down to reception to get a connection. VERY ANNOYING. STAFF AND CLEANERS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A HAND OUT. Besides all that. Was very enjoyable.

Good service for the price we have paid! It was a special promotion and a bless from the buzz of the city! Best part of Marrakesh with its pool, garden and friendly people! Rooms are nice, clean and spacious even if built some time ago!

Positives: Reasonable price for 5 days stay, good service and helpful staff, lovely decor in the reception area, nice garden with palm trees, lovely and clean pool, bar, kids playground, spacious clean rooms, fresh towels, balcony overlooking the garden, good wifi in ground floor rooms, basic but nice buffet breakfast (especially pancakes, omelettes, bread and coffee) a/c working fine Negatives: room cards not always working, charge for using a safe box, ground floor decor would benefit from ... I have stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions, I can't fault the rooms the cleanliness and 99.9% of the staff are amazing. Having stayed in January then again in May the music around pool is still the same cd with the same 5/6 songs. Restaurant staff are great really go out of their way to make your stay the best. Even the maids are friendly and make your room a great place to relax. One thing I would like to state is to be aware that this hotel may refuse couples to share a room if unmar... Read more

We stayed at le semiras for a week. The room was nice and big and we had two beds, even though we only used one. The was always clean and tidy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant was nice and you had different things to choose from. The best thing about the hotel was definitly the pool. We used it almost everyday, quite deep so good for all the cannonballs and dives. And after your swim you could relax on a bed with a towel provided by the very friendly po... Read more

I was really skeptical about this place at first because it close to main street, but then i was so happy the hotel have a really good location you will never hear the noise coming from the outside. The staff was very help full (I know it was Ramadan but it would not kill you to smile a little) our time was priceless in that hotel, the food in the restaurant was fine and the service was excellent. The front desk was welcoming and like i said before a smile will not cost you anything. Housekeepin... Read more

This hotel had superb customer service from the reception to the inslusive breakfast. Coming from the America and having comparable service was great! More specifically Abdelmajid and Hanan offered everything we ask for plus more! I recommend staying at this hotel if you would like a Moroccan vibe, great service and a wonderful outdoor area! Cheers!

Booked the holiday through last minute.com. 2 days into our stay the hotel reservations manager came to find us by the pool to tell us our accomodation reservation had been cancelled by low cost holidays and we would have to pay. After our initial shock we paid the amount and carried on. We were given a 15% discount which was kind considering that we has heard of other hotels charging an extra premium because of a late booking. The food was excellent from the a la (we were bed and breakfast). Br... Read more

arrived at hotel after a delayed flight from manchester, check-inn was smooth, we were a group of 10 we had 3 rooms booked, the hotel is quite run down, needs alot of improvements, in 2 of the rooms the aircon was not working, when complained to hotel staff they only changed 1 room, you could imagine 40+ degree Celsius outside but a room without fan or AC its like a sauna, 3 days at this hotel was like torture avoid if you can, the middle aged lady at reception is rude

Our lasting impression was much better than 1st impression. So I will start with that. Lovely view from room 101, pool area great, beautiful garden and things to do for kids. Room had air conditioning and we got used to it being a whisper of cool air - no boost. Double room has 2 double beds, table and 2 chairs, fridge, air con, balcony with table and chairs and lots of room and storage. Fairly quiet. Great shop inside hotel. Hotel had some wonderful seating areas and beautiful traditional ... Read more

We visited this hotel in May. We got the price on offer. The hotel was ok. In pictures it looked lovely but closeup was tired and in need of refurbishment badly. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. Loved the Moroccan pancakes. Service at desk was very slow. Internet was best near the pool. Overall experience was good but not great. If they improve their service and do up the hotel a bit will be an excellent hotel. They have all the amenities but just tired looking.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Le Semiramis for 11 days and we only just got back today. We had an amazing time here and would definitely recommend to any one else thinking of staying here! The only thing that I would say that could do with improvement would be the reception staff. They came across very dismissive and unwelcoming and considering that they are the first people you meet when entering the hotel and on your first day in Marrakech - we were initially a little surprised by this first ... I went there with my son. The staff are brilliant although there are others who seemed moody at times. The toilet sink and bath tub water was not draining properly. Also the phone in the room was not working. I requested to have it repaired but this was not attended to. I also had problems with the charging sockets. The only one working was the one in the toilet which was a pain when my phone was low in charge.

Stayed here for 5 days with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. First impressions was that the reception is quite dark although pleasantly decorated, especially the various chill areas with comfy sofas. The pool area was kept clean and tidy and all the palm trees gave a beautiful backdrop. The pool waiting staff were very friendly although a bit slow. The bedrooms however are sub standard and really let the hotel down. Very dark with stained carpets, poor electr... Read more

I am not one to post reviews unless I have a really excellent or a really bad experience. Hotel Semiramis is my first really bad experience and other trip advisor users deserve to hear my honest opinion of this appalling establishment. From the surly reception staff, to the rising damp on the walls and therefore damp musty feel to the rooms, to the stupid opening hours of the pool, to the dirty corridors, cigarette butts in the hotel, air conditioning that doesn't work, curtains falling off the ...
