Our family stayed here for five nights to see Marrakesh. The hotel is situated out of the old city and it's about a 20 minute walk or a £5 taxi ride to the main square. It's close to a modern shopping centre with a Carrefour to stock up on any essential supplies. We had three rooms, all of which were comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room so thank goodness we packed our travel kettle - ... Read more

We stayed at another hotel but ate here for our farewell dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was that of an expensive restaurant. We sat out by the pool and it was very pleasant. Service was attentive and everything brought out was correct. I enjoyed a draft beer for about $2. Others bought wine at typical American prices. Most in our party ordered tagine. I ordered steak and it was very good. I would eat here again for a special dinner. But not for every day as prices were a little ... Read more

Nice Terrace, nice Staff, nice hotel. Our check-in was quick and effortless. We arrived and entered the lobby. There is a square opening in the center with a chandelier right at the middle and centered right through the fountain. The lobby is medium size. Then we entered our rooms. There are two tiny elevators, can barely fit about 3 people with luggage. My room was on the road side. OMG! The noise outside was so loud that even with my window shut, it sounded like the screaming people were in my... Read more

The hotel is 3 star but in my opinion it's 2star hotel staff are polite courteous but very little knowledge of what they doing speak English very little The wifi it states in the Broacher in hotel is useless u never get signal in your room you have to come down stairs in lounge to get signal. The rooms get cleaned daily which takes 30 second no new bed sheet we stayed there 7 nights One iron to go around the whole hotel you'll be waiting for days to get it Air con in the room doesn't work it'... We stayed here twice in two weeks. Location is great: close to shopping mall and the Blvd Mohammed V. Also within comfortable walking distance (30-45 min) to the medina and old town. We normally don't eat at hotel restaurants as we find them overpriced and not good. The Caspien is the exception. Dinner was good value and delicious food. They even have wine! Sit outside by the pool for extra ambiance. Breakfast is good too, fresh pastries, delicious fresh orange juice and more. If you are a light... Read more

My partner & i stayed here for 4 nights. Le Caspien is a good traditional Moroccan hotel, a perfect base from which to explore the wonderful city of Marrakech. It's in the heart of the new district & only a 20min walk to Jeema El Fna. The reception was always helpful & friendly, the rooms compact but adequate. The only two negatives, we stayed B&B & the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Also there was never any hot water, always luke warm if you're lucky. Overall a very good hotel.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. We visited the hotel for the second time in October and are already talking about returning next October. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is excellent, and the staff are incredible. The receptionist must be the best in Marrakesh, and couldn't do enough to make our 12 day stay perfect in every way. The director is very polite, helpful and very much hands on, he's always talking to guests asking them if everything is ok.The location of the hote... Read more

The location is great - very close to the mall and Boulevard Mohammed V. It's easy to catch a cab to various sites from here and it's safe at night. The rooms are lovely, though they could use more plugs for charging. The staff is helpful and the food at the restaurant is great and fairly priced. I didn't expect to find good pasta in Morocco, but I was wrong. I tried 2 different plates there and enjoyed both! I also had really good salmon. Breakfast, which is included, is exceptional! Lots of gr... Read more

I did not stay at this hotel but our tour guide recommended the restaurant for a break from Moroccan cuisine. This meal ended up being the best of my 2 week Morocco adventure. Very high quality food, exquisitely prepared. I had raw oysters as an appetizer, a delicious, fall of the bone rack of lamb, and a superb chocolate tarte. My mom had beef carpaccio, spinach ravioli and the apple tart. The food was top notch! The service was excellent. Even the owner came by to say hello, which was a nice... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Marrakech.. the hotel is clean and quiet, just a short block away from the main avenue with the new shopping plaza and many restaurants. the bus runs down the main avenue and you are at the main square by Koutoubia Mosque in under 5 minutes, or you can walk it also. Most importantly we felt safe walking back to our hotel at night and were still close to main attractions. the Majorelle gardens are also a 15 min walk from the hotel. The rooms were clean and the...
