Room Big spacious rooms which were cleaned daily. We were on the 5th floor with lift a cess. Hotel itself was pleasant staff were very helpful. I was abit unsure regarding g this hotel having read reviews. Lobby There is a bar downstairs which played music however this could not be heard from the rooms, you could hear it from the lobby but was not intrusive. Food. Food was 50-50. On my first day I split coffee in the microwave which wasn't cleaned until my last day ( I stayed a week). Ther... Read more

Hotel was nice, with a pool. The room was good too. Location was good! We weren't far from the centre. Food was nice. But there wasn't much choice for breakfast. The only thing we didn't really like was the woman at reception who was really pushy and pushed us to buy over priced excursions through her. When we refused and demanded a refund- she went from being so nice to being really mean, completely rude and inhospitable.

We stayed in this place for 3 nights. Although the rooms were average, the staff service was good. Food in this place is average and Wifi in the hotel was poor. The reception staff speaks English which is a relief as most places we struggled finding English speaking population. They mainly speak French. The best part about this hotel is the sitting area near the poolside, it is nice and relaxing. The place is very close to the Train station and reasonably close to the Airport.

I stayed here in May-June 2013 Got the deal at a good price from easy jet holidays - we were a group of 5. On first impressions after getting into the hotel we were impressed with the large reception/foyer area. We were checked in quickly and told dinner was ready for us. We were given a set menu to choose from, and sad to say the food was average, I was a bit gutted to think the food for the remaining 6 nights would be of the same quality, Breakfast/dinner for the remainder of the holiday wa... My family and I stayed in a double room which consisted of 2 double beds which was ample space for 2 adults and 2 young children. It had a pool facing balcony which was a bonus. We stayed half board and it was amazing. Breakfast had a lot of variety with a selection of hot and cold foods and dinner was great with themed nights on each evening. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the jemaa al fena to one side and the menara mall and gardens on the other. Staff were extremely hospitable a... Read more

The halls are dark and rooms--or our room-- was small and slightly shabby but I still loved the place-- I miss our room with it's tiny balcony and view of the tree-lined pool-- which is perfect for kids. The room service meals arrived hot and were surprisingly well priced. Breakfast was decent (soup was served, lukewarm), loved the homemade yogurt, and the poolside cafe was lovely. We walked to Medina. Prefer the tree-lined streets of this area to strip-mall ambianfe of Hivernage. But if you wa... Read more

I stayed here originally as part of a tour and ended up booking extra days after the tour to stay. Situated in the new town, a taxi if negotiated well should only cost you 30 dirham to the square. Unlike other reviews I can't fault the rooms, two double beds, big bathroom, separate toilet and a balcony (great for drying your washing on). The pool is a great way to unwind after a hectic day. The breakfast buffet was good, omelette made to order and the flat bread (like pancakes) the best I ha... Read more

It was hot!!! Mid summer where we crazy or what!!! Thankfully the hotel had air conditioners that were fully functioning. The rooms were traditionally decorated in a dark Moroccan style. Bathroom and bedroom all a bit tired, but comfy. The pool sported a nice green algae several mornings which needed to be removed by the pool assistant. A small gym pool side for those wanting an air con workout. A drinks bar and outside restaurant. Food inside was Moroccan in style, fresh salads, couscous... Read more

We stayed at the hotel as part of the On a The Go Marrakech Express Tour. We arrived a day before the tour started. The hotel is large and comfortable with a charm of past superiority maybe. The Senior Porter was extremely helpful and courteous to us as we arrived with some trepidation. The hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet and we had a room that overlooked the pool. Evening meals are ok if you are travelling on a budget. The desk staff are mostly helpful and interested in helping. The ho... Read more

From the moment we arrived at this hotel my friend and I had a terrible experience. The lady at reception was rude and unhelpful. We were given our room number and walked in to find that we had just walked in to someone else's room. The Lady at reception was clearly not paying attention and gave us the key to someone else's room. We then went to our new room which had no towels! We didn't get towels until 8pm at night when I chased the cleaning lady around the hotel to collect my own towels, whi... Read more

Stayed with family for 6 days on half board basis. Facilities very good, very nice pool but overall overpriced. Food was served in morroccian style and it would be more appreciated if more variety of food would be offered for breakfast and dinner as we really missed food that we are well used for. Haven't said that all staff was very polite and helpful what made our stay so welcome. We wish to thank all staff and management for making our holidays enjoyable. We stayed here three times in different rooms on a 2-week Explore Tours visit to Morocco. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and the minibar fridge in one were very noisy, and in all three rooms we struggled with the card-swipe door locks which took many attempts to open. WiFi in the rooms was weak but worked well in the lobby. The hotel has an ATM inside with good exchange rates: a huge bonus because local currency can only be bought in Morocco. The food was re... Room was ok, food in the restaurant horrible, we were all inclusive but we had to look around for restaurants in the town. I was charged 30d on my final bill which I did not notice it when I left the hotel. I have emailed the hotel twice to tell me what was the extra charge, they have ignored my e-mails. I would not stay at this hotel again, toilets in lobby very dirty. Don't order room service, they will bring cheap drinks for you. We did not enjoy staying at this hotel.

My husband and I just got back from our second stay at El Andalous Hotel & Spa, and again we loved it. ? It's almost like coming home. Most of the staff recognised us from our last stay, and as the first time, they made our stay wonderful. We have family in Marrakech, so we only have breakfast at the hotel, and we missed the good coffee from the first time. Now you push a button to get the coffee, it's drinkable, but lacks the love. ?? The hotel needs a fix up, but the room is clean and comf... Read more

Breakfast was not good because there was not enough to choose. For example we had to everyday for cheese and yogurt. Lunch and dinner was also quite repetitive. The housekeeping department was nice but the bedroom was not very well cleaned. And the fist night one of the bed was not changed.

Wasn't expecting this hotel to be so large and so nice, but it was. Beautiful lobby, pool area, and the rooms were decent! The location was ok...did walk to the old medina, but it was a bit of a hike. The dinners and breakfasts were all buffets, with lots of choices. The pool area had a bar, and there was another bar (really dark) inside. Nice touch with an ATM right near the reception desk. Relatively friendly staff. and a wonderful 'hotel dog' who greeted guests in the lobby... a pomer... Read more

Clean spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Hotel is located in the new town with a supermarket and restaurants a 5 minute walk away. It's in a nice area. Breakfast is ok, coffee awful. It's a nice hotel. However the cost of laundry is bizarre don't use this service - seriously - smell instead!

The hotel is meanwhile old. But this isn't the biggest issue, sometimes it's really unclean. But I don't think this has to do with the staff, it's more related to missing investments of the bosses. What I've experencied is a really welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Sometimes not the fastest but stil good for morocco. :) Gym (and spa) are not included in the price. Gym costs 800drh/day extra. Overall an acceptable stay for 1 or 2 nights, depending on your expectations

I stayed at the Hotel Al Andalous on business. It is an old hotel, a landmark in Marrakech and the Moroccan details in the lobby and dining room are lovely. I had a suite which was large and decorated with a rather dated luxury, but comfortable. Room serve staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Restaurants were deserted at night so it was lonely to dine there. The restaurant bar gets wild at night with music and dancing and Moroccans having fun. T... Read more
