The hotel is pitched at 4 star, but I suspect it wouldn't compare to a 4 star in the UK. It is however well situated, just a short walk away from west edge of the walled city. The hotel is quite pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. We waited a couple of hours for our room service to arrive, but when it did, it was nice. The pool area is very nice and was quiet in February, but likely to be very busy in hotter months, given the number of rooms. The hotel is L shaped and one wing ... Read more

What we liked: Location - smart neighbourhood, still near the action but without being in the thick of it Hotel dog - such a charmer Price - it's very good What we didn't like: Lifts that don't work half the time Breakfast with only one machine for hot drinks for a hundred people Keycards that don't work Very tired public areas Freezing cold pool Being charged for breakfast even though it was meant to be included Poor service all around Cleaners coming in the late afternoon Towels disappearing... This hotel has not one but 2 bars inside! If you go to Morocco and enjoy having a couple of drinks at the end of the day, you'll appreciate this fact, because it's never easy to find a bar close by, specially one that welcomes women. And they play great music in one of them! I didn't really choose this hotel, I was part of a group when I stayed there. I always prefer smaller places and in Morocco, riads or dars are a much better option for me. I think it lacks personality and a more local feeli... Read more

I stayed at the Hotel Al Andalous on business. It is an old hotel, a landmark in Marrakech and the Moroccan details in the lobby and dining room are lovely. I had a suite which was large and decorated with a rather dated luxury, but comfortable. Room serve staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Restaurants were deserted at night so it was lonely to dine there. The restaurant bar gets wild at night with music and dancing and Moroccans having fun. T... Read more

The hotel is meanwhile old. But this isn't the biggest issue, sometimes it's really unclean. But I don't think this has to do with the staff, it's more related to missing investments of the bosses. What I've experencied is a really welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Sometimes not the fastest but stil good for morocco. :) Gym (and spa) are not included in the price. Gym costs 800drh/day extra. Overall an acceptable stay for 1 or 2 nights, depending on your expectations

Clean spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Hotel is located in the new town with a supermarket and restaurants a 5 minute walk away. It's in a nice area. Breakfast is ok, coffee awful. It's a nice hotel. However the cost of laundry is bizarre don't use this service - seriously - smell instead!

The room was lovely spacious for me my mother and father. Good food which catered for all people. The pool was lovely along with the location - close to everything. My only issue was the staff were at times unhelpful. Apart from that a good holiday!
