the lovation of the hotel is really in the center of gueliz, just few minutes walk to carre eden a large mall, and to starbucks. it has big rooms and very comfortable beds to sleep on. they also offer good food during breakfast and dinner..we really love the dinner served to us, and the best thing we also love about the hotel- is the hammam. if you need to relax after a long tour to sahara, this place is good for you. i recommend everyone to book here.i would love to come back.

Me and my friends stayed here for 2 nights. It's a fancy hotel and we had free breakfast and dinner. All the staff were so accomodating and very kind, they helped us with all our requests. Our first morning we forgot to put a do not disturb sign and the cleaning lady came in(i am just a sleepy head). She was very sorry, thought 'twas funny! If you want to relax and feel good, try their hammam bath. It's really relaxing! Overall our stay was very nice.

Had a 3 night stay here in January 2015. Beautiful hotel very Morrocan, lovely pool but freezing. We were half board, breakfast was lovely, dinner or lunch were nice, traditional food served. Drinks were not included and a small dumpy bottle of lager was around £3.50, one swig and it was gone. Very expensive. Rooms were beautiful, we were on the top floor so had views. Good TV selection in the room. The days were lovely and hot and sunbathed by the pool but the evenings were exceptionally c... Read more

This was the first time my wife and I had visited Morocco and after doing some research we had chosen to use the Diwane Hotel, the location was good with shops and places to eat close by. The hotel has a lot of character, the room is a good size, the pool is nice and the view of the pool area from the small veranda was pleasant, this hotel is rated a 4 star which I agree. We had arranged a transit to take us from the airport to the hotel which took approx 20mins as it also dropped off others to ... Read more

We stayed for 5 days in the hotel and are happy to recommend it to travelers that like a perfectly charming "feel at home" accommodation to come back to when exploring the great city of Marrakech. The staff is super helpful, friendly and caring to begin with. We loved the details of the décor, the little extras, the orange juices on top of the terrace which is beautifully furnished.

I visited in Feb 2016 first time. Hotel was beautiful. Interior was very moroccan. Reception area really nice and spacious. Room was big, cleaned every day. Lovely cleaning ladies. Very clean hotel even the toilets near the pool were looked after. The pool guy was very attentive. Location is ideal. Lots of food options. We did all inclusive. Staff are very professional.

Booked a double and triple room, with breakfast. There was no balcony but they are available in other rooms. Staff are very friendly and honest. Left an iphone in the lounge area and it was handed in to reception by one of the staff. Breakfast was adequate and the pool is great for kids as well.

First impressions weren't great. After waiting over a hour at the airport in passport control I was grumpy and wanted no surprises. TIP grab a landing form (on the desks to the right as soon as you enter the airport) and fill out the forms in the queue. On arrival at the hotel, after paying the city tax which is always on top of your booking, I was told you had to pay extra per day to use the safe facilities in the room. It's 20 dirhams per day, but my main problem was it was not brought to my a... Read more

Stayed here in October last year for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is more of a 3 star hotel, but it is probably one of the better ones in Marrakesh hence the higher rating. The hotel is beautiful- it consists of traditional Moroccan decoration. The pool is large and spacious and sunbeds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and could not do enough for you. You can change your money into Dirhams at the hotel and you actually get a good rate! (or at least we did in October 2015) The ... Read more

We stayed 4 night there but were really happy with the standard and service of that hotel. We went there in January and it was a bit too cold to swim in the pool but the pool area itself was clean and private. The location wasn't bad it took us about 25minutes to get to the market.

The pictures that a lot of sites use are for the suite rooms, the normal rooms are dingy and smelly to a point they set off my sisters asthma. We checked in and out in the space of minutes and booked a proper hotel. This 'hotel' is more of a hostel. And the sites should be giving real information.

Myself and my boyfriend were visiting Marrakech for the first time at the beginning of July. We decided to stay at the Diwane Hotel after reading a lot of reviews on Trip adviser as we specially wanted a pool. The hotel is located perfectly in the new town of Marrakech close to the main mall and loads of little restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful but dated in parts, the entrance hall is stunning and I felt completely as ease and safe there. The staff are also very helpful and friendly at ... Read more

While the hotel itself is nice and the facilities are good, the staff are terrible. Their advice was consistently subpar. When we asked for a restaurant between 120-150 dirhams, they recommended one more than double that. The taxi driver gave us better information. On the same night, the restaurant we booked through them turned out to be in a dodgy area of town but they didn't say anything until just before we left, so we had to scramble to make new plans. They also landed a surprise city tax ch... Read more

They have a nice hotel, however the rooms are not like the rest of the hotel, they could be better and more comfortable (we found only two plug working well in the room, an one of them was in the bathroom). But the hotel is very nice, maybe the others rooms are too. Finally, the pool was ok but there was no music, I find this very annoying, specially when you are with other friends and you want to have fun with them.

I stayed here for 3 nights in September with my family! The hotel reception, pool and restaurant were stunning! Rooms and hotel were always clean and we were provided with fresh towels and sheets daily! Fantastic exchange rate at the hotel. All staff were incredibly helpful and full of information. We had planned to do the open top bus tour but it has been stopped, so the hotel recommended and organised a private mini bus tour with a personal driver for our party of 10 at only 1000 dirhams in to... This was my second stay at this lovely hotel. Ideally situated, very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. We were a family group of 10 and we were surprised to discover that the open top tourist bus had ceased operating. The receptionist suggested we booked a private VIP minibus. This we did and our driver took us everywhere we wanted to go. We had the minibus for 4 -5 hours and saw everything on our list. We even fitted in the camel rides! None of my party had been to Marrak... Read more

I made a last minute booking as I needed to get away. This hotel was a great choice and very reasonably priced. Ok so it's not the most modern of hotels and could probably do with a lick of paint here and there but the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help. The food was great but if you wanted to eat else where the hotel is situated in a great place for restaurants, shops and even supermarkets. You can pop into the hotel opposite and have a cheeky drink or cocktail in there roof t... Read more

loved our stay in this hotel. Really good location to get everywhere, number 1 bus just outside the hotel to get to the main market also most of the staff where lovely. About 10/15 min walk from the train station incase you fancied a train journey to Casablanca like we did well worth the 4 hour traval.

Stayed here for one week. Our room was in need of decorating but was clean. Beds comfy and shower was excellent. Maid came every day , food was good choice in evening was impressive, pool area was very clean and staff friendly aswell, it's an ideal place to stay when visiting as central for many things, wasn't busy when we were there but that suits me Road noise might be a problem if staying in a room facing the road so ask for one facing pool. Roads in marrakesh are very interesting but that... Read more

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Firstly they did not have a single clean room. Next every room they took us to need work doing. It's a very old building and they have not looked after it. There was cracks in the walls. The paint was scrapped off the bath. Rats were running around the pool and restaurant area. With in an hour of being there we had to watch a rat been eaten by a wild cat in an area which food is and was meant to be clean. Wires were hanging out the light section. Everythi... Read more
