We stayed for four nights mid March in the Scherezade Suite at Dar Anyiwen. We chose the hotel at short notice, having trawled various review sites and felt that our efforts were more than rewarded! Dar Anyiwen suited us as the villa and staff provided a very personal, luxurious and welcoming experience, set in beautiful, restful gardens - not forgetting the stunning range of birds, some in cages and others roaming the grounds. The pool was lovely and we used this even when it rained briefly as... Read more

We have been coming to Dar Ayniwen with our small twin daughters since 2012. This time, for our third visit, we only flew in for a long bank holiday weekend. Once again, what an extraordinary stay! As usual, host Stephane, his manager Aziz and their loyal staff ensured an impeccable service, and we spent the most magical of times just taking it easy by the beautiful pool in their paradise-like garden. You can do as much as you want ( last times Aziz organised a guide to take us up the Atlas moun... Read more

What an incredble place! We stayed at the Dar Ayniwen for 4 nights, and it was the most magical experience - better than I could have dreamed. On arrival we were offered mint tea and Morrocan treats, which were both amazing. We then, to our delight, had our room upgraded at no extra cost. And I simply can not rave enough! The room was beautiful, the service was incredible (we were advised on what activities we could enjoy), the breakfast I STILL crave and the overall hospitality shown to us made... Read more

Myself and my partner had an amazing stay at the hotel, nothing was ever too much trouble and the service from day to night was impeccable. The setting of the hotel is stunning with so many surprises in the grounds and is truly a magical place to relax and re-charge. In spite of the hotel being a bit away from the centre it worked perfectly, as it allowed you step away from hustle of the city and relax in the gardens. This place came highly recommended to us by some friends who had been a couple of times before, and after visiting ourselves, I can completely understand why they keep going back. From the moment they pick you up from the airport (20 minute transfer), everything is geared toward relaxing. When we arrived, Stefan (the owner), greeted us, and took us for a tour around the beautiful property, and introduced us to all the staff, and showed us the garden and facilities. We were recommended by a friend who had visited here a few years earlier. After being met, we had a free transfer from the airport and a drive through a dusty suburb and then through the imposing four metre tall gates into a haven of tranquility. The family run Riad, fully Moroccan owned was built in the early eighties. It's original owner, a civil engineer, designed it to his own specifications and what you have now is a beautiful area of around Five acres given over to a large lawn area and sw... Read more

Stayed in the "Mucha Suite" at Dar Ayniwen for 3 nights. The suite has a shaded balcony overlooking the exquisite gardens and a huge fabulous private rooftop courtyard. The bedroom and bathroom are superbly characterful and luxuriously fitted. Everything about the hotel is faultless. The staff are attentive, efficient and super polite and know their job inside out. This was an idillic break with my husband. We enjoyed the food, the service and especially the grounds. Despite it being the first day of Ramadan when we arrived, we were met with friendliness and great service from management to maintenance. I was surprised that there wasn't a shower (only bath) but that did not detract from the experience as there was always plenty of hot water for a bath. We both had really good m... Read more
