We were so glad to have booked this riad. The rooms (we had junior suites) were spacious, very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. As they looked into the interior coutyard they were quiet yet very well lit. Quite a few steps to negotiate, but with it! The owner, M Idrissi, gave us a very useful briefing about the city, and the staff were without exception friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfasts were large and varied, dinners very good indeed. Tea on the terrace most pleasant. All-in-all we ... Read more

The Riad is amazing, highly recommend to truly experience a luxury Moroccan house. The owner was extremely helpful, taking the time to explain how to enjoy Fes (and how to avoid being scammed). The Riad also has a restaurant that our group thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautifully made B&B with very fine Moroccan architect. Its like a little Moroccan palace with fine decorations. We loved the tile work, arches and wood work in this riad . Perfect location, very clean and friendly staff. The owner of this place is a nice gentleman and very helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable. Only one thing I need to mention is that breakfast food quality can be improved a little, otherwise every thing else was fantastic. Highly recommended.

You will be immediately impressed with how beautiful the riad is the moment you walk in. The owner was very helpful and gave us good advice on how to navigate the medina and shopping tactics! Staff was friendly and helpful - we had a very early departure and they packed breakfast to go for us. The location was perfect as it was right outside the medina and not deep inside the maze (a positive, imo. . .), in a well lit and well-traffic'd area. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped.This is a great ... Read more

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Riad Andalib. It was fantastic! The reason we had chosen Fez was because my husband was celebrating his 60th birthday. We chose Riad Andalib based on the excellent reviews we had read on trip advisor, and it certainly didn't disappoint. This hotel works quite simply because of the owner, Reibal, and his excellent staff. Reibal is a very good communicator and speaks excellent English. He offered us the services of a driver to meet us at the airpo... Read more

I will state the things well covered by other reviewers: the room was fantastic, as was the breakfast and location. You can certainly walk to many parts of Fes, though you will want a taxi to take you to the Blue gate (then make your way back to the hotel on foot). My room (booked a Queen suite) was absolutely massive, with a separate sitting area, jacuzzi, double sinks, etc. Perhaps I received an upgrade, or maybe this is just the standard. Anyways, I wanted to share a bit about the owner, Rei... Read more

This Riad is perfectly located near the city center. The rooms are comfortable, large and clean. Reibal is helpful to help you conquer the city center. Diner and breakfast are fresh and plentyfull. I would come again when visiting Fez.

We have been staying at this Riad for a week. We cannot speak highly enough of the caring attitude of both the owner and his staff towards the guests. From our arrival on Christmas Day we have been taken care of. The car was parked, our bags were delivered to our room. Over cups of mint tea the owner explained the to us the location of the main sights on the medina in relation to the Riad We chose to eat in on our first evening and thoroughly enjoyed the meals we chose. The wine is expensive at ... Read more

Had a great stay at Riad Andalib and the personnel was very friendly and helpful. If you stay at this hotel, then let them know when you arrive, so that the owner can greet you and give you some useful tips for exploring the city. The food at the restaurant was amazing, best harira we had, and while it is a bit pricey, the portions are large as well.

Actual property was dated, dim and it was hard to believe they were fully occupied given they literally had to turn the entrance lights on when we returned from dinner. Owner and his staff were rude to our guide and driver. Compensated us one night for no hot water in the rooms which was a well recieved gesture but overall experience made us very disappointed in Fes overall. Lesson learnt... don't book a hotel based on Tripadvisor rating alone.
