The overall experience here is top notch. Right when you enter the owner / proprietor will sit down with you and introduce you to the city and tell you how to visit the Medina. The Riad has been redone in a Moorish style and is a perfect oasis centrally located in the medina. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and have their own unique charm. And finally the restaurant was very good and served delicious authentic Moroccan food.

Have just returned from an incredible three night stay at Riad Andalib in Fes, Morocco. I would highly recommend the experience of staying here to all. The interior is beautifully decorated, I loved the yellow and maroon colours in the breakfast area. I love how attention has been given to all the small details. The owner and his staff are all lovely and a pleasure to be around. The food is excellent and the roof top terraced where dinner is served has a lovely ambience. It's a really cos... Read more

We had such a great time at Riad Andalib. It is one of the more expensive places we looked at, but we decided to splurge because it's still so affordable compared to US luxury hotels. The riad itself is totally beautiful. There is intricate workmanship everywhere, from the plaster on the ceilings to the tile mosaics to the metalwork. The restaurant is excellent. Really great food for about $15 USD for a main (which is expensive locally but cheap globally), and it is top-notch. They can ... Read more

Riad Andalib is in an excellent location within the medina, and once there, you want to linger, be it in the courtyard restaurant or up on the terrace with great views of the city. The owner took the time to help orient us around town, with excellent suggestions that come not only from being a native of Fes, but putting himself in the shoes of a first-time visitor. Coming back here after a day wandering the crowded medina and souks was a very welcome way to unwind. The food was excellent - we... Read more

We stayed in this Riad for 4 nights in early May. As soon as we arrived we were invited to sit and relax with mint tea while the owner spent quite some time telling us all the best places to visit and, with a map, explained how not to get lost and what to look out for on our visits to The Medina. He organised an english-speaking guide to take us on a tour next day all round the outskirts to tell us the history and take us to places of interest. Each evening he was very interested in where we ... Read more

Riad andalib is positioned perfectly on the edge of the medina which makes it very easy to find and easy access for taxis. When we arrived we were met by Riebel the manager and possibly the owner who greeted us with mint tea and the best Moroccan pastries. He had a map and and a great plan for us to visit the old medina without a guide. His instructions were perfect and we were easily ably to explore by ourselves. He suggested a Guide for viewing the sites outside the medina and he arranged a ... Read more

I didn't think Morocco could get any more enchanting and magical, but when I arrived at Adalib I completely fell in love. I am obsessed with this place and you will be too. The owner is one of the most charismatic, gregarious and knowledgeable people I've ever met in my life. After we arrived and were greeted with Moroccan tea and cookies, we sat chatting about the history of Morocco, Islam, Peace Corps and humanitarian organizations, the importance of travel etc. for over an hour. He is super c... Read more

I stayed at Riad Andalib for 2 nights with my sister and it wasn't enough! This Riad is truly perfect in every way. The location is fantastic. Easily accessible be car (which can't be said for most riads in/near the Medina). The room was immaculate and decorated really well. SUCH a comfortable bed which was great because I got a little bit sick from a tour I had taken a couple days before my arrival so I had to spend some extra time in bed. In fact, when they found out I wasn't feeling well, th... Read more

We experienced excellent service throughout our whole stay. We were landing in Casablanca and arranged for a car service to Fes through the hotel owner Reibal. When our flight was unexpectedly delayed by a day, Reibal quickly responded by email and was able to reschedule this and our arrival was completely smooth. The following morning Reibal met with us and gave us a valuable orientation to Fes complete with a map, highlights of the sites and simple directions to follow in a labyrinth of a city... Read more

The owner of this riad, Reibal Idrissi, is more that a hotelier. He will educate you about Fes, it's Medina, pricing, taxis, you name it. The riad is new, immaculate and the architecture will take your breath away. You can drive up to the front door and they will help park your car nearby for 25 dirham a day. The medina is a 5 minute walk. The small number of rooms are clustered around an open courtyard on the second floor. An excellent breakfast is served on the ground level and dinner on ... Read more

It's clear a huge amount of thought and care has gone into this Riad, and Mr Idrissi was always at our disposal for whatever questions and queries we had and gave us lots of tips for exploring Fes - even before we got there! The female staff in particular were great and nothing was too much for them, from booking taxis and restaurants to bringing us plenty of water and towels on the roof for sunbathing on the loungers. The breakfast was ample (a variety of pancakes, cakes, breads and cheese wit... Read more

I use TripAdvisor religiously, but have yet to submit a review....until now. That is because I feel like I have a personal stake in helping to keep the Riad Andalib #1. I recently spent 3 nights at this Riad and I must say you could not ask for more when it comes to location, amenities, and customer service. The Riad reflects the designs and culture of Morocco, but remains modern with top notch amenities. Our room was spacious and clean. There was even a fruit basket and water in our room upon a... As people have said Reibal has created a beautiful environment in his Riad, providing every comfort to chill and relax, especially on the rooftop terrace, after the intensity of the medina. He went even further and brought in a staff that takes care of your every need, and then some. We felt like pashas with the level of service offered, at any time of day or eve, all with a genuine smile. We felt completely at home and taken care of. We toast Reibal for creating and running a wonderful establ... Read more

This riad is like staying in a 5 star hotel! The staff take care of you from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. Reibal the owner gives you incredible advice for handling the Fes medina which can be tough to negotiate, with people hassling you every 5 metres! The rooms are HUGE and truly luxurious. The beds are massive and the bathrooms are easily 5 star standard, with two wash basins, shower, and a hot tub! I wholeheartedly recommend having dinner here too! Delicious! (Also... Read more

Highly recommend this riad - the room and bathroom were perfect, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We greatly appreciated Reibel's tips for Morocco, explanation on how to tour the Medina, and organising a driver for us. The staff were great when we wanted to eat lunch at one of the nearby restaurants - they called ahead for us to check it was open and organised a taxi too. The rooftop terrace has a fantastic view and the food we ate for dinner was absolu... Read more

Before we arrived in Fes, the owner of the Riad (Reibal) had already been in contact with me with transportation tips. It was an unexpected personal touch that set the tone for the entire stay. We are experienced travelers, but Morocco can be pretty overwhelming, It is good to have someone who is fluent in a few languages and can give practical advice. The Riad itself is lovely. Good location for touring the Medina. Known to taxi drivers when you want to venture around the New City. ... Read more

Our time at Riad Andalib was just incredible. I honestly can't put into words just how great our time here was. Everything from the word "go" was smooth sailing and welcoming. Reibal (the owner) organised a transfer from the train station with a great and knowledgable driver. Then when we arrived, Reibal sat with us for at least 45 minutes to an hour and spoke to us about Fes and Morocco overall. With some biscuits and delicious Moroccan mint tea of course. Yum! He provided a map, told us the be... Read more
