Stayed here on my first visit to Mexico from India, and the stay was extremely pleasant, in spite of my lack of understanding of Spanish. The staff is very polite and extremely helpful, the rooms are clean, well maintained and well stocked, and the ambiance is pleasing. The restaurant too is quite good, and even though it got difficult to communicate at times, they always were able to arrange for a member of staff who knew English to assist me. The hotel is just a steal: I don't think one can ge... Read more

Only stayed one night but enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff. It was nice too, that since I know almost no Spanish that most of the staff spoke English. So great for tourist. Plus hotel is walking distance of a big outdoor mall as well as casino.

I spent in Puerta del Sol 5 days for business. The place is good for families, since it has a good swimming pool in its park besides the appartments. Rooms are very basics but are large and the service is good. Also the personnel at the reception is very kindly and helpful. The breakfast is not amazing like in such luxurius hotles, but I have enjoyed a lot the real mexican style of the dishes. I can advise to visit this hotel for travellers. Is not good for business because it's a family hotel a... Read more

The room me and my boyfriend were staying at was relatively clean. Although we both thought the bed was awfully hard and the bathroom had a peculiar smell. Well, nothing we couldnt tolerate. The problem started at night when the rain came. The roof had a massive leak! And all our stuff was on the floor, wet! Including shoes. I woke up because of the wattery noise!!! When i call the desk they only send a guy to our room with towels and a bucket!!! (!!) and they denied us another room untel both m... Read more
