I have stayed here 4 times now. It is a Good hotel for the value. Only place I stay in SLP as it is close to office, good breakfast, nice outdoor space, and easy shuttle service to airport. Recommend as a place to stay.

Great staff. Beautiful property. Amazing breakfast with live pianist in the am. The hotel is very close to a modern grocery store (next door) and just minutes away from a big mall / "plaza" ... The staff are very nice here. The only limitation is that you can't change money with the front desk. But they do have an ATM. The pool is a fantastic place to relax.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in San Luis Potosi. I have spent time in 3 other hotels in the area but this one is tops. The room, staff and dining experience is second to none. They also have magnificent décor and location.

Excelent facilities, however personnel is not well trained. Breakfast hours started al 7:00 am & remain unattended until 8:00 am. Restrooms on sunday morning were not cleaned after an event celebrated las night.

I am currently staying at this hotel (2nd of 4 nights). There is a big function with loud music going on from 10:00pm to 6:00am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I can't IMAGINE how a hotel will approve such an event without caring for the other guests' inconvenience? The music is so loud, that it is impossible to sleep. I am with 5 colleagues on a business trip, and we are all suffering. This hotel should be ashamed of itself. The HILTON brand should be ashamed of allowing such inconveniences t... Read more

It's worth staying here just for the courtyard! This hotel is a perfect blend of historic, old style building with modern comfort. The rooms are clean and large and the on site services are very good. The one downside I noticed is you will need to set up a shuttle to the airport well ahead of time if you plan to take a shuttle. If you plan to use taxi or Uber it shouldn't be any issue. If I ever come back to SLP I am absolutely planning on staying here again!

Love this hotel. Such a beautiful facility full of "old world" Spanish charm. Truly gorgeous and the outdoor spaces are really nice. I like the location a lot because you can go for a really nice walk in a more suburban type environment but right around the corner are places to eat too. The restaurant is good, the beds are comfortable, the AC is awesomely cool which can be important on hot Mexico days and the staff is friendly and caring. We've stayed several times on our way to and from Pu... Read more

Stayed in hilton for around one week. Wad a very nice hotel with a spectacular architecture. Rooms are big. Breakfast selection is ok, personnel seems to be stressed. The hotel was hosting many events this week, can be loud during the evening and night.

Very poor A/C system (In the middle of the Mexican Summer). However, what is unacceptable is that almost every weekend the hotel is booked for weddings, graduations, baptisms, first communion, etc. And they use the main patio of the hotel, literally in the middle of every room, making it extremely loud. It seems that they prefer to make a quick buck with their social events and they don't care about the regular hotel business.

Very nice hotel, very nice staff. We had no problems except the loud wedding party that was taking place in the courtyard until 0530 a.m. They warned us of this when we checked in and offered earplugs but I'm glad I packed my wax earplugs because it was super loud. You could hear everything and everyone walking in the hallway. Otherwise, this is avery beautiful hotel with excellent staff.

I've seen this hotel change over the years. It was Westin and now Hilton. Friendly staff and overall good experience. Only once did I have issues with the AC. Food is very nice and the bar is excellent!! I'll stay on each work visit. EXCELLENT AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF!!

Sunday Brunch is terrific.!! And, if you like Mexican Food, and, desserts you'll love this place. Even if you're not familiar with Mexican Foods, this is a great place to start. The hotel is wonderful, and the people are fantastic. Stayed here last year and had a great experience; and, staying here again this year.!!

The Hilton is a comfortable, luxury hotel well-situated and well-appointed in the Lomas suburbs. The rooms are comfortable and there are many facilities that one might expect: a pool, gym, bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a small, expensive shop, but it has some nice crafts. Breakfasts are well worth the money, with an extensive buffet and eggs cooked to order. So why only 3 stars? Firstly, there are no English, or any other that I know of, newspapers available at t... Read more

My family and I had an event in San Luis so we decided to book at this hotel. I have nothing bad to say about our stay. From arrival to departure all the staff was super kind and professional. The rooms are very clean, the gym is nice and big, although it could use more equipment. We arrived in San Luis earlier than expected (check in was not until 3pm) I called front desk and they were kind enough to let me check in a little earlier. I would definitely stay here again when traveling back to San... Read more

My family and I arrived to the hotel in San Luis and it was late; however, the people were super nice and accommodating!!! The hotel also provides a safety box and I want to commend the staff because I left the safe wide open with thousands of dollars in American money and Mexican money and also mine and my families U.S. Passports and when I arrived I was so freaked out thinking that I would not find the cash nor my passports and to my surprise everything was there intact. Beware of this hotel if staying on a weekend, this hotel is an hacienda style with a center courtyard, lovely design and great service, unfortunately they rent out the courtyard to BIG events, I am talking about 400 people events. We stayed over the weekend and there is no way you can sleep with the music at full blast until 4:30 am..... The management should really re-think if they want to run a hotel bussiness or a party rental location.. Believe me it cannot be both...

We thoroughly enjoyed our multi-day stay at the Hilton San Luis Potosi when attending our friends wedding celebration. The hotel was conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Although all staff members were friendly and helpful one waiter Jesus was outstanding. He was engaging, exceptionally friendly and accommodating! We will definitely staff at this property again when visiting our friends in San Luis Potosi! Mike & Patti P.

Place was ok but hot water and Internet were an issue. For the price paid, I would expect better maintenance. The hotel seemed a bit old and patched together. The facility was beautiful and had old world charm. Not sure if I will stay here again.

Always a pleasure to come back. Maybe the most authentic plance in SLP. I stayed there for the third time this year and I enjoyed every single day. Good location, authentic architecture and friendls staff ... what can you expect more. Serive could sometimes be a little bit faster, but in general the place is great.

Excellent Customer Service. The breakfast is the best. Ladies making fresh corn tortillas make for an excellent experience of homemade food. However, would like for the shuttle to run at 4am due to American Airline flight leaving at 6am. The Hilton shuttle starts at 5am and not much time to get to the airport. The checkout needs some overhaul. One person taking care of multiple travelers at 3:30am is inefficient. We waited about 30 minutes to check out.

I have fallen in love with the people of SLP. I do not speak any Spanish and I have had nothing but exceptional service, kindness and respect while in the town. I had to write a review of the SLP Hilton as they have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service. We needed my son's suit pressed and it was picked up and returned by hotel staff in a matter of hours. When the suit was returned the garment back it had been sent out in was not. When I let the hotel know they not only found... Read more

It had been a while... last time I stayed was back when it was a Westin - I liked it then, I liked it now. Very well appointed, nice spacious, clean rooms, good service, great bar area and good breakfast. Really not much else I could ask for. Tons of restaurants close by, the only downside is the commute in the morning/evening depending on were you need to get to. Anyway, well worth the extra drive. As a room tip, try getting rooms away from the lobby, the further the better. People rolling the... Read more

The Hilton in San Luis Potosi provides a truly amazing experience in Old Mexico Service while surrounded in luxurious in gorgeous rooms, restaurants and even hallways. Expect nothing of the 'usual' in this Hilton. Every detail is unique to the hotel and reflective of the heart of Mexico. The ceiling of the main restaurant is a high 'barrel' of chipped bricks. The furniture is the best of antiques and products of the area. Marble, brass, gold leaf, and massive carved furniture. Each room is over-... Read more

This hotel, formerly a Westin, is classically designed, in a good neighborhood. Our first impression however was one of disappointment because of the inattentive and rude treatment we received from the receptionist that evening. We arrived and as soon as she asked for my name, (no "welcome" or "good evening"), she got on her phone and proceeded to carry on a conversation while she was attending to us. In the middle of her conversation, she ordered me to hand over my credit card. She kept typing ... Read more

This property has changed the name so many times and with every change it has been loosing some it's charm. For me, it was the worst of them. Now many things feel just cheap and empty, even the service is not as before. Actually it is quite a surpreise since I'm a fan of the Hilton brand, but here the Hilton means very less. Really a shame, a beautiful property but not managed correctly.

Stayed there for a 2-day international conference so the hotel was really full. Though I had no problems with the bedroom, the breakfast was not the best experience as the room was really small, therefore people had to stay in tents outside the building -- and yes it rained. PROS: nice rooms, nice gym. CONS: small room for breakfast and small pool for a Hilton

Wonderful hotel with excellent service! Big rooms and comfortable beds. The unique problem was that they were hosting a wedding at the main garden with super loud music until 5:00am and falling asleep turned into mission impossible... besides that everything was perfect. Definitely coming back (not during a wedding party) =P
