"Our family of six (ages 20 to 50) spent Christmas week here. It was beautiful, clean, spacious and a great get-a-way for all of us. Lots of food choices, staff was friendly, attentive and eager to make things right for our stay. The use of the sister hotel gives variety and the opportunity to mix things up a bit. Take your time picking excursions and be sure to ask about any specials on prices. We would definitely recommend this to friends and would go back again."

"My family of 14 had a wonderful time at this Cabo resort....everyone did what they wanted to in a very safe environment...pools were great, so was the ocean. Food was very good and plentiful. Using the sister resort gave a variety for pools and food as well as some shopping. The 'all inclusive' is the way to go with 14."

"Great place and vacation, the all inclusive plan is the way to go. We had a amazing one bedroom suite, the entire facility was clean and beautiful. Of course try and avoid the time share pitch, they weren't too push about it, unless you really of thinking of doing it, they do have a host of amazing properties but just not for me. The entire staff was amazing but especially incredible at the pool and in the restaurants. Each persons experience can be different but go with the right attitude and of course be ready to low down and relax. With the use of both hotels, you can either just lay back at Villa del Arco or for more action and activities you can go over to the Villa del Palmar. Right on the beach and close to all the water rentals, easy and safe. Also an easy walk to the office and other beach hang outs. My family had an amazing time and I would recommend this resort to anyone."

"Villa Del Arco has beautiful rooms. The food is bland. The service is horrible. The wait to be seated is about 10 mts. All inclusive guests had to be seated, sign a receipt for all items consumed including a bottle of water when needed! The employees need to learn more customer service relations. Villa Del Arco is a time share hotel and cater to the shareholders different from the regular guests, they discriminate! The atmosphere is unfriendly and uncomfrtable. I do not recommend Villa Del Arco go to Riu for real service fun and lots of activities!!"

"The perfect resort! The food was great, the view was beautiful, the room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and learned your name quickly, it was relaxing and quiet, the service was excellent, the activites were great, the pools were clean, the beach water was cool, clear and deep and little rough initially getting into the water but great after that. The only downside, which wasn't that bad, you had to sign a receipt for every drink and every food item and sometimes there would be a wait for the receipt. Not everyone at the resort had all-inclusive, we did and still had to sign for everything. We had teenagers with us and they had a great time, there was plenty of activites on the beach next to the resort for every water sport. It was easy and quick to take a cab downtown and only $7. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!"

"First time to Mexico-Cabo is awesome! Fabulous vacation experience! La Perla Restaurant has exceptional staff! Facilities were clean and comfortable. Crowds and noise level at pool were minimal. "this was my first trip to anyplace in mexico. and because of all the bad things going on there was kinda nervous about going, but I soon found out that there is nothing to worry about in cabo. I felt safe everywhere we went. All the people that we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful and usually funny, at the hotel and in town. The villa del arco staff are fantastic. The hotel was so clean everywhere, I noticed the staff checking the ph in the pools and hot tubs alot. the food was good. The best part of the hotel is the SPA! it was the best I have ever been in. It will be very hard to find another spa that can match the experience we had there!
the location of the hotel is great for relaxing but close enough to find the 'party' easily when you want that. If you do the timeshare tour just know going in that they are trying to sell you on it, just like going to look at buying a car. know what you want out of it and have fun with it. alot less painful that way.
I can't wait to go back!!!"

"Wonderful resort! It is everything it stated it was. Clean and spacious one bedroom suite with a HUGE and VERY COMFORTABLE king sized bed. We enjoyed the balcony and the ocean veiw. The corridors are so breezy and refreshing. Mole enchiladas and garlic grilled shrimp at La Perla, Fiesta Night at La Tortuga and the Italian Restaurant was to die for. The staff was friendly and eager to please. We were asked when we checked in if we wanted to attend a special breakfast (Timeshare Presentation) ,but that was the only time. We preferred the beach for lounging and swimming (The waiters were great.) rather than the pool, so I really couldn't give a first hand comment on it other them to say others who were using it seemed to be enjoying themselves. The resort posted a red flag and a sign to not swim at the beach and threathened violators with expulsion from the resort. We swam anyway and had no problems. Reserve early and at least a day ahead at the recreation desk! The trolley was uncrowded and we never had to wait more then 4 min. Taxis were affordable and arrived within minutes. We took a 3 hr. sailboat tour from Cabo Snorkle and Sailing Adventures. It was the best part of our vacation and that's saying a lot because we had a great time! (May 2012)"

"The hotel is very spacious, clean and the staff is friendly. Although, the food was very good..loved the taco bar; I didn't like the birds constantly eating at the buffet at La Perla. I think they should find a way to cover the food up. The vacation was relaxing but I found the constant hounding from the timeshare reps to be annoying. They were everywhere, the airport, hotel and beach. Even though I was aware that they would be present I didn't realize how prominent they would be. The people are very warm and friendly but Cabo to me is overrated and although it is not my cup of tea, I think many folks will enjoy it. So, if you plan to go I would recommend this place but I would not rule out other less expensive resorts because cabs are everywhere and getting around is not a problem."

"Our family just returned from our stay!the rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly,especially around the pool area ! All of the food was very good,loved the taco bar and my husband loved the sushi bar. The pool area was very nice and the beach was right there for all of the water sports. It was nice to have the ability with the all inclusive to eat at the sister hotel Palmar. The pizza was fantastic and the water slide and pool activities were fun. The only down side was having to sign for everything you order every time even being all inclusive and it was not that big of a deal except when the kids ordered someone over 18 had to sign. I can't express enough how the atmosphere of the resort and the wonderful staff made it such a fantastic vacation."
