This is one of the finest hotels I've stayed in. As you can tell from the websites pics, it's ultra chic and the beach is breath-taking. Very young, energetic staff that many times remembered our names. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Just returned from The Cape after proposing to my girlfriend there over the weekend. The hotel is simply stunning and by far the best hotel in Cabo. I cannot say enough great things about it. It seems like every spot in the hotel has an amazing view and we kept saying "Wait, THIS is my favorite view in the hotel." The service (Dulce the concierge is incredible), food and overall atmosphere are worth every penny and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Book the romantic dinner on the ... Read more

Stayed here recently for New Year's. Despite being rained in most of the time, we fell in love with the resort. Not a big fan of Cabos and traditional resorts, The Cape was more urban and hip than anything else in the area. Youthful, energetic yet still had young families without being annoying. Felt like more of a Hollywood scene including some recognizable faces. Manta offers great meals, top notch for great prices. Amazing cocktails throughout the resort. Just checked out of the property yesterday, and I must say is the best hotel by far in cabo if you're looking for chic hip. We stayed in room 314 which has a nice view of medano beach and the cabo bay. You can see the arch from any location. Upon arrival we were greeting with prosseco and their signature mezcal, anniversary and birthday . Food is great, pool service is great, but you must arrive early otherwise you´ll be in the sun all day. Two things I recommend the hotel to review, room ... Read more

We just stayed at The Cape for a week in June, for our honeymoon. It surpassed our expectations in every way. The only small complaint we would have is the non-stop music, which can get to be too much. - The rooms: Spacious and beautiful. The tub in the room was a nice touch. We stayed in a corner room on a 2nd floor, which was great because it had a bigger terrace and a hanging couch. One thing to note is that the TV has very few channels in english. - The pool area: Super comfortable cabanas ... Read more

Our stay at the Cape was excellent. It's a beautiful property with the most amazing view of the arch and the hotel staff was amazing. So friendly and accommodating. You want for nothing. Our room was lovely, everything so clean and the food was delicious. Nelson was amazing in his service at the pool. We didn't even have to ask and another ice water was brought to us. A smile welcomed us each morning and he anticipated our 'spot' with towel set up. He was part of what made our stay so en... Read more

My sister and I enjoyed a room on the fifth floor with an incredible view of the famous arch and coastline. We left the balcony door open each night and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf. The staff was very attentive and eager to please. The rooftop had a great bar, wonderful sunset views, and live music. We could have spent every day just lounging by the infinity pool watching the surf (and surfers at times.) The saltwater pool, hot tub, and fire pit were also top notch....I co... Read more

Everything from the architecture, the environment, ambient music, beautiful comfortable rooms, to the unparalleled service and wonderful food, is carefully thought and executed to perfection. I know there is a lot of rhetoric, but this place deserves it. If you decide to treat yourself to a great experience and stay in The Cape don't forget to ask for "Super Mario's" Cappuccino!

Everything about this hotel is excellent: the location, the style and architecture, restaurants, pools and rooms. The staff is extraordinary in every way. The one and only reason the hotel does not get the highest marks is the ubiquitous music. There's literally not a place in the common areas of the hotel that doesn't have music, especially the pool. You cannot escape to just hearing the sound of the waves. And it's pretty loud--not just background music. Because everything else is amazing, a... Read more

The only downside is that going to Mexico I was expecting the prices to be lower than in the US. You can expect the costs of meals and drinks to be the same. However, I would go back any day! Visited wed-sun in early August. Researched all hotels and settled on The Cape, very happy. Beautiful property, built like an arena (all rooms face ocean) to view the main surf spot on Cabo. 3-6' Waves pounded shoreline 24/7, great background sound. Great view of Lands End and CSL to the west, without the crowds. Music was perfect level of non-intrusive; wish other hotels could follow suit. Food was typical Mexican resort; kind of bland and fairly expensive, but doesn't detract from the hotel. B... Read more

My husband and me opted for the panoramic suite. It was worth it. The views are spectacular. I was floored. Our suite had its own pool and it was much cooler on the balcony when it was the hottest at the hotel pool. The service was top-notch as well as the food. The staff was always helpful with questions or concerns. I will likely return soon.

We visited this hotel last night. We did not stay in the hotel but we visited the roof top bar for drinks at sunset & then dinner at The Ledge. It was fantastic for drinks & dinner but personally I would not stay there. It is beautifully decorated but crammed into a section of the coast with apartments around it. The pool and all the bars are very close to the rooms too so it felt crowded to me.

From start to finish we truly enjoyed the hotel. It is in a unique cove which makes the beach very private and away from the hustle of Cabo. Great gym with ocean views and every room has an ocean view. Personally liked the suite we stayed on the 1st floor as you could hear the waves. The restaurant of the Hotel, called Manta is also great. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, boutique, hip hotel.

The Cape is not your grandparents Cabo timeshare. It is a classic Thompson hotel: cool architecture, a happening bar scene (this time in the pool!) and very sleek, comfortable rooms. This is not the hotel for you is you want total seclusion: the pool is a total scene - club music, cabanas, the whole nine yards. My recommendation would be to rent a car, giving you the ability to do the pool here and then also drive to one of the many awesome beaches if you want a bit more quiet. Also, a car will ... The lobby is completely open so you can constantly feel the warm weather on your skin and you never lose sight of the perfect view.
