Beautiful new, relaxing hotel, with friendly staff. Gorge went out of his way to ensure we had anything we needed and spoiled my three year old daughter. He provided amazing customer service, above and beyond what I have ever received! Olger kept us fed and hydrated at the pool every day and was truly a pleasure and also so sweet to my little one. The prices at the resort are very high and I think they could sell more drinks if they were more in line with other Los Cabos resorts (i.e.- Hilto... Read more

Everything about this resort is amazing! We selected the JW with a group of friends after we were in San Diego for a conference. It was the best decision, and we are planning a return trip again! The service was incredible from the moment we arrive! All of the staff, from Salvador, who checked us in, to Adrian and Alexandra at Ua Culinary Artisan, everyone went above and beyond at every turn. Marriott's new JW Resort is an incredible property - very contemporary and modern. The service, however, is old-school in all the best ways! From the bellmen to the bartenders to the concierge .... the entire team offered top-notch service. I want to give a shout-out to Jorge (who moved our room at check-in AND found my misplaced wallet). He advised I should relax and enjoy myself at the pool as he would handle it - hard to do when your wallet is missing! But he was right. Nestor, from Security,... Read more

The wife and I headed to Los Cabo this past week for a relaxing vacation. We stayed at the JW Marriott Los Cabo Hotel - The hotel is brand new. They opened up in November 2015. Everything about the property itself (lobby, common areas, pools, spa, rooms etc.) were top notch. The hotel is super clean! Kudos to the staff for the general upkeep of the hotel. Rooms: We upgraded ourselves (by paying $140 a night) to the the Griffin Club section of the hotel. Rooms at the Griffin club area give you... Read more

Los Cabo has been on my bucket list, and our stay at the JW has now made it a place that I WILL return. The resort itself is fantastic, with supreme attention to detail evident at every turn. Rooms are large and the bed's amazing. LOVED the bathroom; thank God it was hot so I had an excuse to get in the world's greatest shower at least twice a day. Great ocean view balconies, and they are big and comfortable! We could not say enough about the level of service that was simply excellent. Photog... Read more

My wife and I wanted a peaceful 4 nights in Cabo and we got exactly what we were looking for. The new JW Marriott is a beautiful hotel!! Yes - it's a little out of the way - about 10 minutes from San Jose and 30 minutes from Cabo. But that was perfect for us. We were content to stay on the property for the most part. Plus, the Cabo scene isn't for us. But one thing to note - if you want to leave the hotel - seriously consider renting a car, (there's a Budget desk on site). Taxis are $20 each wa... Read more

This property is quite amazing! If you are ready to destress and disengage then this is the hotel for you. The hotel has removed all distractions so you are able to embrace and engage with your natural environment and really focus on you. The spa is the best in Cabos! They offer 12 pools but it's an adventure to find them. The rooms are JW quality in the Baja. If you need to let the business world go then this is the place for you!

Because of its proximity to the west coast and reliably excellent weather, Los Cabos has become one of our favorite vacation destinations. Flying Southwest Airlines outside the U.S. for the first time was easy and moving through customs was effortless. Perhaps due to the recent opening of this hotel, it was fairly empty throughout my stay. Service was excellent. My husband and I stayed here for a business trip in February 2016. The drinks were excellent, my favorites being the mojitos and martinis. The food was amazing. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the spa; however, I thought the prices were steep for the services. The gym was great with lots of exercise equipment options. The entrance to the hotel is grand and I love the clean lines and general ambience of the hotel. This is definitely a p... Read more

So I have been fortunate to stay in many great hotels around the world so I rarely complain about high prices. This J W Marriott scores very highly on service and the rooms and property are outstanding. The issue is that it is remote, that was not a surprise , what was a surprise is that the hotel makes zero effort to make the remoteness acceptable , the hotel restaurant prices are crazy and there are no other restaurant walkable options nearby, same with bar prices, breakfast at $30 for a buffe... I'm writing this review while still in the hotel. First, Cabo was directly hit by Hurricane Newton last night (which was merely a storm not even a day earlier). The staff worked diligently to prepare the resort for impact and are now in clean up mode. They also did everything not just to keep us safe, but happy. Dining, bar and more as the storm rolled in.
