Dreams was great. The resort was clean, room was large and had great view. The staff were very happy and friendly. The pool was great (bit deep for my wife who is 5'2) and the hot tub was a nice touch. The restaurants were nice, staff were very quick but food was sub par. You can't swim in ocean but can walk down beach a few resorts to calmer waters.

We booked preferred club, Jr. Suite, ocean view! First outstanding are the Resort Staff notable is Antonuah great guest service! The whole resort is perfect down to every detail, metculessly maintained and clean. We had a fabulous time at the beach dinners, entertainment was phenomenal. I only have praise for this resort. Food at the World Buffet was wonderful. The small specialty restaurant's food was hit and miss unfortunately. I had some fish at Oceana that tasted very fishy however, my hus... Read more

The Bordeaux restaurant at Dreams is 5 star quality. It became our preference while spending a week at Dreams Los Cabos. The waiters Emilio and Alex gave all guests incredible service, advice and were professional. My husband has allergies to Gluten and Dairy and both Emilio and Alex took this very serious and worked with their chef to create a delicious experience for him. The selection, presentation and taste of their menu is top notch. Both Emilio and Alex make sure that their guests are... Read more

I just travelled to Los Cabos with AM Resorts as a travel Agent to check out their resorts. Dreams is a beautiful family resort that is fantastic for families and we have also hosted weddings at this resort. The rooms are beautiful, beach is great, food is very good and service was fantastic. This is a little higher priced resort than some, but totally worth it!

I just had my wedding at Dreams and it was the best weekend of my life. The staff was wonderful to work with especially Marcela my wedding coordinator. I was worried planning a destination wedding since I live in the US, but the staff at the resort and the vendors made it a very enjoyable experience. All of our guests expressed how much fun the had at the wedding and how wonderful the resort was!

Our stay here were not what we expected. The room and staff were nice but there were several problems with the suites. First, we kept smelling a bad odor coming from the toilet. Come to find out everyone in our group had the same problem. Every time you flush the toilet the water smelled. Second, it's not worth upgrading to preferred. It is a big joke. You get the same food you receive from the Buffett . Third and most important there is nothing to do on the compound. This may be due to not bein... Read more

We arrived on May 13 and had upgraded to the Preferred Club. Not so sure that it is worth upgrading. My wife and I normally upgrade because of the higher level of service and they often offer another restaurant or ability to dine each night at any location. Not the case at this resort. You are given better service at check in and check out but that isn't worth the upgrade. The preferred club will allow you entrance into the physical "club" but it isn't worth your time to walk there. It's o... Read more

We are timeshare owners here at Dreams and utilized our all-inclusive. Our stays are always enjoyable and it seems it gets better every time we visit, this was no exception. Our room was clean and made up by 12:00pm. Our view was fantastic over looking the sea of Cortez. The service we received at all the restaurants was exceptional, but the pool bar area was phenomenal. I have been to a few all inclusive resorts in Mexico, but none of them come close to the meaning of all inclusive as Dreams in Cabo San Lucas does. Naturally, there are always limitations to what is served and in what quantities, and most resorts I have been to take very good care to keep a healthy margin at the bottom line by serving a very limited and carefully selected list of beverages and foods. Dreams seem to have found that happy spot where they can afford to serve a good selection of bev... Read more

An incredible upscale luxury resort for the family. Rooms are beautiful and recently renovated. The food was all very good and the service amazing. My kids loved the swim up bar at the main pool where they could order mocktails. There is not a swimmable beach here, however, which is common for many hotels in Cabo.

This hotel was awesome because we were with awesome people. The hotel has everything you want and need for a fun time in cabo including the swim up bar(s), 5 or 6 good restaurants and even a night club. The beds were fine and the beach was nice, though you can't swim in it due to currents.

At the lobby bar we informally met a small group of employees one afternoon who were there to attend a conference on quality customer service. They were SO friendly and engaging ,and before we knew it they asked if we liked guacamole and we were donned in chefs coats and hats, making fresh guacamole right there with them!! So if you want something you have to walk all the way up too the lobby and get it yourself. I'm telling you we had two families with five children and four adults and he not only made everything we needed along with tending to our allergies but it tasted better than the entire resorts restaurants. I can only hope this resort gives him the wages and raise he deserves because if they lose him to another resort they are losing an amazing employee. Rock on Victor!! We heart your customer service!!

First off, it's all suites. Plenty of room for a family, and certainly a couple. The staff was very nice, the grounds were BEAUTIFUL. Watching the whales in February......so cool! You could see one at any time if you were looking at the ocean. The food was fantastic, and the bars were good. They shut down at 11:00 PM though. We're on vacation.....we're not ready for bed then..... That was my only drawback, but I'd certainly go again. Cabo is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Very nice - all updated since the hurricane of 2014. This resort is part owner/time-share and part all-inclusive resort/hotel. They do a pretty good job of separating families with small children from couples/older guests, except that late at night there are loud bands/singers in the outdoor public area, which prevents more mature guests from enjoying quiet evenings, listening to the waves crash as they fall asleep. Otherwise, a lovely property with private beach.

My son summed it up best when he said, "this hotel is better than I imagined." Our family of 4 had a fabulous time. I was a bit worried about the quality of food at an all-inclusive, but it was quite good. The buffet was average and room service average+. pool side food was great and the restaurants on property were outstanding. The French restaurant could go toe to toe with restaurants in any major US city. The property is just gorgeous. Not overwhelmingly large, but plenty of places to r... Read more

Pool service by Fernando and Jesus was the best ever!!! Very attentive and funny. They always remembered what you drank. Would bring you snacks without asking for them. They were great!! Resort was great as well. Fernando and Jesus work the adult only pool, so to be served by them you have to spend your time there. Adult is far quieter than the infinity pool since that is where the kids are.

Oh my, where to begin... After travelling all day long to get to Los Cabos, we arrived at 5:00 PM and were informed that our room was not ready, though it should have been ready at 3:00 PM. This "All-Inclusive" resort also allowed people who were not all-inclusive into the resort to eat at their restaurants. My family was blatantly ignored at several meals in restaurants and were told by maitre ds that it happens because "we no pay". Can you imagine how livid you would be if after paying for a... Beautiful resort, very friendly staff, the rooms were very nice, and was upgraded to a beautiful suite. The pool activities were a big hit with the friends I traveled with. There was a shuttle bus that took you from the resort to the downtown Marina area, for Cabo Escapes, shopping etc.

We were in the time share portion which can be a little confusing with the facility. There are restaurants not open to time share guests at all unless you have a reservation. The nearest grocery store to stock up our mini-kitchen (NOT a full kitchen, only 2 hot plates and a medium sized fridge) was a $50 USD cab ride away. We appreciated the free shuttles to downtown CSL, which allowed us to stock up on a few things while there. The hotel staff is very friendly and service oriented. Beautiful... Read more

This is a beautiful property, just not worth anything close to the amount spent unless you really wanted to attend our niece's destination wedding and do nothing else but sit around the pool. Food was just ok, service provided to the wedding party, restaurant and poolside was excellent. About half of the guests had lower intestinal distress the day after leaving, not due to airport food as they went home to at least 6 different destinations. Our 3 day weekend was just over $1k. We can do a w... Read more

We recently visited Dreams for our honeymoon, we stayed 7 nights in the honeymoon suite. The resort is VERY clean and accommodating. The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because 1- you can't actually swim on the beach because the water is too rough and 2- the room service and dinner options for food were gross and i would not recommend either. However, the breakfast at the world cafe had a lot of options and the bars were fantastic. Great drink service and options, the swim up bar... Read more

We held our wedding at Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa on October 29, 2016 and I cannot rave enough about the staff - they are beyond incredible and helped make our celebration unforgettable! We had slightly over 40 people attend our wedding and all of our guests were so impressed by the attentiveness of the staff, not just the day of our wedding but during our entire stay. My husband and I stayed for a total of 10 days and a majority of our guests stayed for a week - everyone was so i... Read more

My boyfriend and I visited Dreams for a wedding and the trip proved to be beyond our expectations. The resort is absolutely stunning with a beautiful layout right on the beach. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with the maid services being provided twice in one day which was amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Omar Garcia who was extremely welcoming and efficient in getting us checked in quickly. He gave us great advice on what to do during our stay and checked in with us every t... Read more

I booked this resort in August after reading mostly very good reviews. A few weeks ago I started reading several negative reviews concerning intestinal issues and a norovirus. Naturally, I was quite concerned and notified my travel agent. She investigated and said that there were no reports from the CDC for the resort. She also contacted Dreams parent company (AMResorts) and they stated they had passed all health inspections. So we opted to proceed with our travel plans although I‚??ve neve... Read more

This place is AMAZING. We were there to relax from our over stressful jobs and this place did not disappoint. The entertainment crew, Rolfy, Hugo, Montse, Jackie, and Jose were great! We did archery on the beach, rifle shooting, beach volleyball and many other things. They were amazing at their jobs and always did it with a smile! Elsa is the best pool side server in the whole world She was always quick to keep our drinks filled up and ice cold waters in our buckets. Antonio, the mix-oligist, w... Read more

Our company booked our stay at Dreams and what a fantastic choice! The resort caters to your every need and is the perfect place for couples or a group of friends to stay. The all inclusive option was great as we all enjoyed dining together at all the amazing restaurants and the freedom to do our own thing when we chose. The location is great since you're only 15 minutes to the nightlife of downtown Cabo or 15 minutes to the laid back area of San Jose. The pools are nice since the beach is not s... Read more

We enjoyed this resort! Stayed in a 2 bedroom with our 9&7 year old daughters who loved Michelle and Carolina at the kids club. Service from Octavio around the pool and Antonio at the pool bar was great as were all the waiters at World Cafe. LOVED the lady who made us omelets every day (sorry I can't remember her name!) We enjoyed the food at the restaurants. Go here and have a great time!!

We were upgraded to the top floor this time and the suite was great. It was clean and bright and the view was great. Services were great overall from the concierge in the Preferred Club, the barista, bar tender, dining room staff and the spa. The only bad service we encountered was the staff at the Poolside restaurant. We went there twice & was not served for over 10 minutes and decided to leave.

We've just returned from a wonderful family vacation at Dreams, Los Cabos! There were 14 family members in our party, and without exception we would all say the staff at this resort were incredible - so well trained, and genuine. "It is my pleasure" was their standard response to our "Gracias"! They could not do enough for us. We had a photo session with Miguel on the beach. It is important to know that there are no water sports or the ability to swim at the beach at this resort. The undertow prohibits any swimming at the beach. That is not mentioned on the website. Food was average at best although breakfast at World Cafe was good. Bands and nightly shows are at the lobby bar area so do not plan to try to sleep before 10 PM. The pressure to listen to the time share presentation for a "free breakfast" is consistent. We paid for the Preferred level which is supposed... Read more

Loved the service and food at this hotel. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Especially appreciated the friendliness at the World Cafe from Maritza, the hostess, to our favorite waiter Luis Alberto. His service went beyond the norm. We also loved the Seaside Grill, where we also had excellent service from Franco and Alfredo. I can't say enough about this hotel and how much we enjoyed it. First time in Los Cabos and picked this hotel after looking at different options. Came with my parents, my wife and children, as well as two other families with one child each. The hotel is small, very manageable. It also offers a relaxing ambiance, different than others all inclusive I have been in where there is loud music and partying. Great property, great people, great service. Especially look for Alan, a waiter in the Oceana restaurant and Jesus and Raul, both waiters at the adult pool. All three made our vacation terrific! The breakfast buffet was wonderful, however several people in the wedding party did end up with the dreaded Mexico Montezuma's revenge. Each time we return (twice a year), we are reminded that it truly is first because of the people followed by the property. Without the wonderful group who have become friends, new and old, the property would just be just another resort to visit. We have been to Dreams multiple times in the last 10 years, twice this year. We've never had anything other than a great time and experience. The staff is great and really want you to enjoy your stay. Close to San Jose and Cabo if you want to venture out. Great golf at several nearby courses and many adventures available through the resort. Highly recommend.
