On this trip 6 ladies traveled together! This is a beautiful luxury resort. There are many pools. We mostly used the serenity pools. The beach is beautiful and sunrises were awesome. Unfortunately the waves are huge so no swimming for us. Noted tiny little blue jelly fish on shore 2 days so watch out for those. The staff are all wonderful! I was called 2 days before arrival by a "pre-concierge" from Vegas related to check in. That went into a sales pitch for a cocktail hour on ... Read more

I can't say enough about how beautiful this resort was! Totally breathtaking but...it's extremely heavy with timeshare sales pitches. I really wanted to just relax for a quick 3 day vacation but they basically force you to speak to a "VIP" guest member. .aka timeshare salesperson. When I booked I was not aware of this because I only had 3 days on my vacation.

This trip was all about relaxing. No sightseeing. We were picked up by TransCabo in a private vehicle....a Cadillac Escapade, no less. This is our first time back since the hurricane. Cabo Azul is better than ever. The prices seem more reasonable at the resort now. Did the tequila tasting and it was worth the $15.00. The resort should advertise these special events better. There is a mall across that street that have some very reasonable eateries, which is convenient. We stayed in a two... Read more

Service is defiantly 5 star but the room layout is a 3 star at best. Unlike most horseshoe layouts that most resorts have where everyone gets a decent view, they put an additional building up front (building 4) that have horrendous view. Ours faced the busy street which is lined with bars that play loud music late into the night. Others below us face a small patch of grass and the side of the buildings about ten feet away. We also had the view of rooftops and air conditioning from the resor... Read more

Very new resort. Booked a studio that had only a coffee maker and mini fridge. Would have been nice to have at least a microwave in the room. Lots of construction going on so a bit noisy. Suppose to have a pool view but could only see the neighbors patio. Booked this through Diamond Resorts, not what I'm used to from Diamond. Staff all very nice.

Very attentive staff! They spoiled us! Pedro was great at taking care of us by the pool. The place was beautiful and close to a cute town, a few shops and restaurants so it was perfect. Also, was much quieter then Cabo San Lucas. I was disappointed they didn't have a complimentary shuttle to and from airport but everything was so wonderful we will be back!

It seemed there were about 8 pools to choose from! With how big the hotel is, I was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and quiet it is at night. Food was excellent. The room beautiful. Felt like a bedroom, plus living room, with tvs in each room. Two vanities, sinks. The architectural detail of the building is very extravagant, as well as the interior decoration in the rooms. Staff is friendly and professional. Loved every second of my stay here. Wishing I was still there.

I had a wonderful experience at Cabo Azul. The grounds were landscaped beautifully. There are several pool options, some more secluded and quiet and some with a lot going on. They have a swim up bar and a few dining options as well. They have a little store that you can buy snacks and drinks. Personally, I love the location of the resort. There is a row of shops across the street that provide easy access to several restaurants and clothing stores. There is large grocery store about 5-10 minutes ... Read more

Our experience was great! Even the owner's meeting is not as bad as the others. Everything was great. Period. They definitely make you feel like you're on vacation on this one. We had a very nice view on everything from our 2br oceanview suite. Highly recommended place if you want peace and quiet away from the busy party sounds in Cabo San Lucas.

We love this place. Everyone is very nice and attentive. We got the 2 room villa overlooking the ocean. Love the rooms. Love the pools The food is great. Much better than the other resorts nearby. One thing we didn't realize until we got here is that the chairs and lounges by the pool are all made out of wood with very soft padding - not plastic chairs like the other resorts nearby.

Cabo Azul was beautiful. Grand scale architecture and beautiful unique design. Luxury with peace. A resort atmosphere without the crowded feeling. The swim up bar and the napping pods outside were the highlights as well as the beds on the beach. Cabo Azul is a truly lovely and special place.

Our 2nd stay at Cabo Azul was every bit as relaxing as our 1st. This hotel has everything except an accessible beach. The waves here are almost always too rough for swimming but the wonderful pool area more than makes up for that. The spa, restaurants and on site amenities are all first rate. We especially love the pool atmosphere at night when all of the torches and fire pits light up.

Cabo Azul is luxury defined. You'll be relaxed from the minute you walk through the open-air lobby, and it won't stop until check-out. They've thought of everything here, from two "serenity" pools to three large pools that point toward the beach. (The beach is unfortunately unsafe for swimming due to rip currents, but that just meant more time in the heated pools for us.) Cabo Azulejo is a beautiful resort in a convenient location not far from the airport and on the ocean. The architecture and design is very casual but in very good taste. This is absolutely the nicest and most beautiful resort I've ever stayed at, but there are a few cautious. First, the check-in. If you got a great price, there's a reason and it's called the pitch, like a pitch for the timeshare, which is what this place is. You're going to get a personal which means nothing; their job is to get you to sit for the pitch. Because of this, it's going to take a long time before you finally will get to your room. The gardeners are out every day attending to different areas and they are very unobtrusive. Maintenanc... Read more

Beautiful hotel and great staff. The rooms are big and super clean. You can walk to other restaurants so that is an added bonus. The only thing that was pretty annoying is that the prices on the menus are in pesos but they want you to pay in dollars so you're constantly doing math in your head and trying to figure out if everything has been charged the right way. I would definitely stay again though.

We recently stayed four nights at Cabo Azul. My wife and I traveled with another couple and each had a one-bedroom ocean view room. In short, it was the most relaxing four night stay I've ever enjoyed and at one of the nicest resorts I've ever been. Check in was a breeze... bell desk walks you to the room with your luggage (which is good as this resort is big). Our room was amazing... first floor which let us walk right out to the pools. Once you check in, no reason to leave. We didn't do ... Read more

Check in was a breeze, only down side was after the check in, they try to get you to the concierge to talk about time share. Lady tried to say its part of the heck in process, but a no is enough for them to stop bothering you. The room is very spacious. there are 5 pools on the resort, One is dedicated to Adults which was a nice touch because you can go to the hot tube with out kids. Most of the time there was no one at the adult pool so we had it all to ourselves. Found the Starbucks on the las... Read more

My husband and I are currently staying at Cabo Azul celebrating our 11th Anniversary. We thought it to be fitting to return to Cabo as we were married here. We couldn't have selected a better resort than Cabo Azul. We are in a 1 Bedroom villia which is ample space for us. From the time you enter the resort you will notice that Diamond spares no expense. The villa is equipped with top notch amenties, Beautifully decorated. Employees are all very pleasant and helpful. Special shout out to Nathan... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for six days to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Wow is all I can say. This was the nicest resort we have ever stayed in. The staff was always so nice to us and went out of their way to help us. There was even a young man who came by a few times while we were relaxing around the pool to give us a cool cloth and offered to clean our sunglasses! They have three levels of infinity pools. We never felt like it was crowded and they told us that they were at 92% capaci... Read more

We had a family of 6 stay in a 2 bedroom room. What a fabulous room. We loved the pools, and the activities that took place. The check in process was easy, no pressure for time share presentations. The front desk was always helpful, gave us a late check out, had a roll away bed waiting, upon our request. Javier's was great, and we loved the restaurants right across the street.Convenient Starbucks in the hotel, and my son loved the gym. The best pool and swim up bar we have experienced. Be... We just spent a week at Cabo Azul with our 4 kids. Check in was a bit frustrating because our 2 BR suite was not ready and were told it would be at least 3 hours til ready. We were not happy upon our return in 3 hrs and eventually got an upgraded room. Other than that (and the push for the presentation), we enjoyed every second there!!! We must give a huge shout out to OMAR! He was our waiter and main man at the pool!! He really made our stay with his quality of service and fun personality. The ... Read more

7/10 Location: Only 25 mins from the airport. In front is a shopping center with some restaurants and stores. If you want to go into Cabo San Lucas, it'll run you about $100 RT. 10/10 Bellhop: We were greeted immediately with help. They had a large container to put all our groceries in while we waited for our room to be ready. 8/10 Check in: We arrived around 2:30pm with no lines but the front desk told us our room wasn't gonna be ready until 4pm. We had lunch and came by with everything ready... Read more

Room was large with lot of space, beautifully decorated, large bathroom with 2 sinks separate shower, very silent. Common areas and pool amazing as well as the beach. Next to a shopping mall with burger and typical Mexican tacos, also close to San Jose del Cabo for a typical Mexican experience. Has a cafeteria inside the hotel very convenient for coffer, breakfast and snacks. My only neutral comment is that although they have some, would be that I expected more activities for kids.

I've been to Cabo Azul in winter and summer and both times of year were peaceful and lovely. The grounds of the resort are generous and have an understated elegance as do the rooms and pools. Overall there is a wonderful sense of space and restfulness. There are enough lounge chairs and tables that one never feels stressed about claiming a spot. The ocean in front of the hotel is rough and has a dangerous undertow, so swimming in the salt water is out but the beach is incredibly beautiful and on... Read more

This was our first stay at Cabo Azul. This was our first stay in San Jose rather than in Cabo San Lucas. It was amazing! We are definitely going back. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We booked our stay using a Travelzoo voucher, but we also booked our babysitter a room direct. Both of our rooms were amazing and VERY large overlooking the pools. My favorite part of this hotel was that even when at full capacity it DID NOT feel that way. I did not have to fight for a lounge ch... Read more

The best beach destination ever! Rooms were perfect, service is world class. Angel Sandoval provided the BEST poolside service we have ever experienced. Why drive to the Panhandle of Florida when you can have this type of vacation. No crowd, very secure, unbelievable weather.

Hotel is amazing. Impressive decor and rooms are all suites. It is truly better in person than the pictures on their website. Direct access to a private beach although it's not recommended to swim as tides tend to be strong and unsafe for swimmers. However if you want to enjoy the safe beach for swimming there is a bus that can take you to Los Cabos (marina) for about $3 and they circulate very often about every 10-15 minutes. The ride takes about 30 mins but it's absolutely worth it. If you're ... Read more

Best place I have ever stayed. Spacious beautiful room overlooking Sea of Cortez. Friendly & attentive staff. Beautiful grounds and pools. Service was good to excellent most of the time. Excellent restaurants on grounds but also convenient to several in town. Absolutely spotless. We were sorry we had to leave. Will definitely be back.

Had a great stay @ Cabo Azul. We stayed in the Penthouse Villa and it was as beautiful as the pictures on their website. Their pools were pristine and hotel is beautiful. I do however have several issues that need to be said. First, they cater to anyone way better if you are an american that looks american. I am fluent in Spanish and English and when I spoke Spanish, it's like I was almost invisible. But, when I spoke English they were all there. If you're in the pool area & you are wearing a sm... We recently returned from a multi-generational week long trip to Cabo and we're very happy with our hotel choice. We booked through an online travel agency and reserved a 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and penthouse suites all with ocean views. Rooms were very spacious and nice and we were allocated rooms in the same building albeit different floors. Our only concern about the rooms was the lack of light (natural ir otherwise) in the guest bedroom of the 2 bedroom suite. Kitchens were very well stoc... Read more

I'm here with my family 5 of us that usually go 5 star and normally get it right. Sometimes however we don't get it right and don't understand how some places get their stars. This place however is up there with the best we've stayed at anywhere. It is immaculately clean and manicured everywhere with staff working wherever you look. We have a 2 bedroom suite that is large, has great ocean and pool views and always clean and refreshed each day. The food is very good and the large 4 poster poolsid... Read more
