SPECIAL GROUP BENEFITS:
Every 6th room within the group will be complimentary, with a maximum of 3 complimentary rooms per Group Booking. One complimentary room will be offered per every 5 double occupancy rooms paid on a daily basis. In case during some nights of the group`s stay the total amount of rooms is reduced under the required 6 rooms with 5 paid double occupancy rooms, then the complimentary 6th room benefit will not be applied during those specific nights.
End client should not be charged for the applicable complimentary room nights earned based on the purchased room block. The hotel will not reimburse nor credit back the end client or the agency for any complimentary room nights paid.
One Free room upgrade to the next available category per every 10 paid rooms, with a maximum of 2 upgrades per Group Booking. Upgrade will be offered to the next available category based on the majority of rooms purchased category.

Driving directions from Cancun International Airport:Take Hwy 387 (Carretera Federal Chetumal) south and follow signs for Dreams Tulum and Spa, drive for approximately 110 km (70 miles) through Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Akumal. "We loved Dreams Tulum. The beach is truly beautiful. There' s only a limited beach swimming area adjacent to the property, but it's big enough, and you can walk off the property and find more beaches, some almost secluded. The room was beautiful, and the cleaning staff did a great job. The entire hotel staff, with very few exceptions, was genuinely friendly and helpful. The food wasn't world class, but it was remarkably good; we went to nearly every restaurant and weren't served a bad dish. It really is all-inclusive, other than bottles of wine and spa treatments -- minibar, kayaks, drinks by the pool etc were all included with additional charge. It was annoying when we asked for our promised $200 in coupons and they launched into a sales presentation, but the guy was gracious when we excused ourselves to go to the beach. It was thoroughly pleasant and relaxing. We would definitely return."

"Food was very good!!!! I am from Mexico, so I enjoyed every meal. We never go to buffetes but this one was sooo good, specialy for the breakfast!!!! the entertainment fantastic!!! only complains, light in the rooms, stones and many shells in the ocean, and mosquitos. Bring water shoes and mosquito repelent, just in case...We got a master suit on the zacatecas building, (room 8112) was perfect, because we didn't hear the noise from the pools at night, it was in the first floor, I didn't hear any from the floors obove us. wasn't far from the pools or the lobby...and wherever you walk the flowers and plants are gorgeous!!!
I defenitley will go back to Dreams Tulum!!"

"We took our 9 months old son on his first vacation during Christmas 2012. We called the resort ahead before we arrived to make sure they have a crib for my son and they confirmed that they do and will put a crib in our room when we check in. We took the early flight and we arrived the resort early about 1:30 pm, however, the check in time is at 3pm so they made us wait in the lobby until 3pm. We have travelled to many resort and it is unheard of to have to wait until check in time to be able to check in especially we only arrived an hour and a half early with a tired infant with us. Okay, I understand, rules are rules. No complaints there.
So my reservations stated that I am GUARANTEED a free room upgrade, but the front desk receptionist did not want to acknowledge that part and gave us a hard time about it, telling me to make international calls from my cell to our travel agency to talk to them about the promotion and they do not have access to make international calls, I refused to call from my cell and pay the extra international fees when the print out voucher clearly stated that I have a GUARANTEED a free room upgrade. So they diverted me to the concierge for help and I have to wait in line for that again... After I get to the concierge, one after another pass my case to the next person until one person was able to help me and he offered me a VIP lounge access instead of the upgrade stating that he has to check on the rooms to see if I can get upgraded tomorrow based on availability. What? Again, do they not understand that my reservation clearly stated that I am supposed to get a GUARANTEED a free room upgrade? This is part of the reason why I even chose to book this resort! Btw, I booked two rooms because we took my parents there too and both reservations stated the same thing 'GUARANTEED a free room upgrade' These people are so incompetent!
So, we ended up taking the VIP lounge offer instead of the free room upgrade because we are so tired of waiting and arguing, also, VIP package comes with free WIFI because without it, you have a pay $15 a day for WIFI. The lounge has a few appetizers that is usually not fresh and a few premium alcohol choices and that's all you get, it is not like you'll get premium liquor at all the restaurants you go to or bars you go to...none of that, it's just a stupid room with a few premium alcohol and a TV. We hardly went in the lounge to drink, no one's in there and it's boring, you pour your own drink and when the bottle is empty, take them 2 days to replace the bottle, not worth it.
So, check in was a nightmare and now comes the REAL NIGHTMARE! After we arrived in our room, of course the crib wasn't there as promised. I called and they told us to wait a few minutes, we unpacked, showered, waited and waited, my baby is getting so tired and cranky, can't got o sleep without the crib, me and my husband took turn to cradle him to calm him down...he needs at least a 30 minute nap before we can out to check out the resort... second call, third call...still no crib...finally, after waited 3 hours in my room, until suns down, I was furious! I called the concierge and the room service to talk to their managers, the guy I talked to was pretty rude, telling me that there is no one I can talk to, and no managers are working and so on... So, I got on my computer and start writing emails to the Director of Sales, the General Manager and the concierge. Oh, all of the sudden, miracle happened! The crib arrived in less than 5 minutes. Wow!
However, I realized my room is missing a hair dryer, I called for a hair dryer after I got my crib and this time the concierge PROMISED to have to me in 10 minutes. Well, I waited for another 40 minutes for the hair dyer and finally, he brought one to my door and apologized again. I was very nice to him; he knew I was exhausted and disappointed/ I thanked him for brining the hair dryer but my hair has already been air dried and wished him a merry Christmas. I was beyond disappointed and I was exhausted and hungry, now it's 8pm and this whole waiting game started since 3:30pm. Our whole day at the resort is ruined, so did my folks', because they are not going to go out and have fun without us and their grand baby! The general manager called me to apologize and offered me a free room upgrade which I DESERVED it to begin with; it is part of my reservation!! I told the concierge that maybe they should give us a free massage or something to make up for this lost day that I paid a lot of money for (4 adults). The concierge said that he will look into it but guess what, I called and left him email the next day, I heard nothing back!! I was ignored. At this point I just want to go home and get my money back but obviously it is impossible so we made the best out of it. Met some good people, some unhappy guests as well and we all laughed at how horrible the staffs are.
The shows are lame and their main entertainment crew was unprofessional, yup, you'll see the same entertainment crew by the pool side, the karaoke, the dance floors... Why I said that about them? Because I was disgusted by how they took advantage of the single drunk tourists, making out with them on the dance floor, caressing them... yuck! Aren't they trained not to have any sexual encounters with all the drunken tourists and to take good care of them not touched them inappropriately? Both male and female entertainers were being very unprofessional, I'm just going to leave it at that. I thought this is a family oriented resort, not supposed to be a raunchy one. I am quite disgusted by their actions.
Also, they don't automatically replenish the mini Coronas (only 3 beers), sodas and water in your room. They have no liquor in the room btw, very cheap. When I called room service to have it filled, they told me to leave a note on the fridge the next day so that the cleaning lady would fill it! Wow! Way to cut corners and make your guests happy!
The food was not great and the services at the restaurants are so so, especially the sushi restaurant, it's pretty disgusting if you are a true sushi eater. Another thing, I can't believe that because it is Christmas season, the French restaurant has an up charge of $50 to $60 per couple to eat there. I thought it is supposed to be all-inclusive!! What a rip-off!
We took our family on many all-inclusive resorts and this is by far the worse resort that we have experienced. It is nothing near 4 stars!! They don't even have hair conditioner in any rooms, only shampoos. If you are like me who has to use conditioner for your hair, make sure you bring your own.
So, before we have our son, we've even been to their sister chain Adults only - SECRETS in Cancun, I can't believe the awful treatments we got and we will never return to this resort chain ever nor will I recommend any of our friends to go! They really bomb it. Horrible management on the front desk staffs, concierges, and the room services crew. The bartenders and the restaurant staff are okay. They should all go stay at Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya, it's the best we've ever been to and the services are just NIGHT and DAY compared to Dreams Tulum. Highly recommend Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya, ten thumbs up!
Oh by the way, the advertised FREE GOLF when book 3 nights minimum stay... IT's A SCAM!!! They want to charge $50 per person after 1pm or $90 per person before 1pm whether you are a golfer or just a rider to rent the cart. It is mandatory to rent one if you want to play and it is mandatory to pay for the rider if you want to bring someone along. Good luck with that!!! We brought our clubs and decided not to go play golf due to the outrages charges! It's cheaper to play back home.
The beach is too crowded and dirty, not at all white sand, it's more like white sand covered with brown debris! Don't let the pictures deceive you!
Overall, we are very unsatisfied with the services this resort had provided. It is not a totally all-inclusive resort! Feel like they just want to cut corners and get you to pay whenever they can.

"Don't do it! Having been to several all inclusives in Mexico..this one was a real disappointment. The room reservation was screwed up and we had to wait a hour. Fortunately, they upgraded us to a suite, but it was above the coffee shop and the noise was unbelievable. The drain in one of the pools wasn't working and this caused the water to be yucky. The beach wasn't impressive either. The service was poor and the wait in the restaurants was very frustrating because it wasn't that busy. If you are going to do an all inclusive definitely go to the Grand Mayan or Grand Velas. Don't bother with this brand of resort as you will be disappointed. The only positive marks were for the entertainment staff (my teenagers loved them) and the food quality. Everything else was a bust. "

"Upon check-in we found out that there was no reservation under our name.Thank goodness we had our itinerary that said we had paid in full. The hotel staff told us that they would take care of it and would let us know if there was any trouble. The hotel stay was a wonderful trip. The staff was nice and the facilities were great! We stayed in a master suite in the newer side of the resort. It was nice and quiet and close to the pools. The activities at night were awesome, and we enjoyed a few movies by the pool at night! I would stay there again and bring family and friends!!"

"When we arrived at Dreams Tulum, we were disappointed to see that the resort didn't really match up to the pictures advertised on the website. Some of the grounds were beautiful, but the rooms weren't what was advertised. We were put in a 'Garden View Suite' when we first arrived, which was very disappointing. It was dark and not very clean. Nowhere near what you would expect based on the website. It was only after we upgraded (with additional charges) to an 'Ocean View Suite' that we were put into a room that was up to the standards you would expect, even though it still didn't match up to the photos on the website.
The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, and drinks and food are plentiful, though the quality of food wasn't great. You could find good food if you looked for it and tried different options.
The beach was fairly small and lackluster."

"First of all, I booked Dreams Tulum because it was advertised as an unlimited luxury golf resort. When we checked in, one of the staff told us we could 'see the golf course from the front door.' We later found out that the golf course was at another resort 20 minutes away by taxi and that it would cost about $200 for my husband to play. Then, the staff also told us that there were 'three tennis courts' when in actuallity, there was one. The raquets were old and the balls bare. The second most disappointing part of the resort was a very poor beach area. There were too many rocks to walk into the water without water shoes. The beach was dirty,(I actually found many cigarette butts and discarded plastic water bottles all along the beach area) poorly maintained, and the nonmotorized water sports were very, very limited. Thirdly, the pools were crowded and dirty, full of partying and drunk young adults. That would be fine if one could get away from them and find a place of solace somewhere else at the resort. Our room was a limited ocean view located in one of the resort's older buildings which was quite poorly repaired. It rained several nights and we had large puddles of water covering our floor, ruining several books brought along for the trip. The lighting in the bathroom was dark and dingy. A positve - the bed was very comfortable and our building was quiet. The food was average at best. We loved the sushi bar and the Italian and Mexican restaurants were good as well. However, the ala carte restautrant had a very poor and limited selection. The drinks were always lukewarm, as was the coffee on several mornings. Service was average, not exceptional. The resort is getting old and in need of a major facelift. We have been to Barcelo several times and there is absolutely no comparison in terms of quality, value, cleanliness, and staff friendliness. We will certainly give Barcelo our next trip. My recommendation to you is to really do your homework. Compare the resorts carefully and know what you are looking for. If you want a small two star resort without luxurious amenities, Dreams might work for you. If you want an exceptional experience, book in the more upscale resorts. If you are planning on golfing, stay somewhere else, not Dreams Tulum."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ this resort. For the most part the staff was very friendly & efficient. Our housekeeper was sweet but for some reason seemed to 'ration' our washcloths. The grounds were exceptionally beautifully(reminded us of So. Africa & Hawaii rolled up in one). Every meal was 5 star quality! We upgraded our room and had a gorgeous view of the courtyard & fountain. We did let them know we were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary as our agent said to remind them, but they unfortunately never brought us a bottle of champagne or anything special.(Other Cancun resorts & other places we've stayed for our special time always did something special) So glad our agent highly recommended this place. Also, it was quite a distance from airport(1 hr. 45mins)"

"Would not give it a 6 star rating but overall it was a wonderful trip. The staff is uncertain on how to convert pesos to American dollars. I ordered the lobster (not included in the all-inclusive) as they advertised it to be $30 US dollars. The internet charge was $10 per hour and $5 per half hour -- I used 1-1/2 hours. When checking out I wanted to pay cash on my account. What should have totaled $45, they wanted $66. When I informed them that $30 and $15 equals $45, the clerk seemed confused. The best he could come up with was $48 so I didn't want to argue. My point being that if they advertise services and specials in US dollars, then they should honor that price. And also my manicure was very shoddy work and I returned a couple hours later to have the color removed. The spa services were not all that luxurious."

"This was a great resort. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. The restaurants were easy to get into and had great service. The one thing I would have changed would have been to not book the airport transfer. It took 3 hours to ge to the resort after we dropped off 2 others sets of guests. So we took a taxi back to the airport for 950 pesos (about $80) and got there in about an hour! The return shuttle wanted to pick us up almost 5 hours (at 3:50am) before our flight left. Take a taxi!"

"Just got back from this resort, the service, food, and people where fantastic.
The kids club was amazing. The kids club was open to 10 every night and they took the kids for lunch and dinner so my husband and I could have a quiet meal together. The kids club also provided pagers so that we could reach the kids or the kids could call us if they wanted to be picked up.
I would recommend this resort.

"The room, food and staff were wonderful. Resort is small in number of rooms but spread out. Our room was a walk to the pool. Joel-from Florida in th consierge services was awesome!!!"

"Our mexico trip began with nightmarish accommodations!! After our 3rd call to BookIt - we recieved a helpful representative who hooked us up with Dreams Tulum . . . . WOW! what a wonderful dream it was too!! From the minute we stepped out of the cab - we were greated with cool, aromatheric scented cloths to refresh ourselves, two more steps and we were greated with a cold, crisp glass of champaign! We were given the MOST spectaular room!! Have I mentioned we felt like Princesses?? We were most definetly treated as such!! Their accommodations are INCREDIBLE!! Their staff TOP notch!! The food was delicious! The view was the most AMAZING!! and the fact that no other hotels were around and the beach was OURS was more than our wildest dreams could have imagined!! I'm ready to go back!! Tell me when to pack!! Thanks Dreams of Tulum!!"

"2nd visit. My wife and I love the resort in all areas. The service and food are great, the facilities and the grounds are beautiful. The best part is the staff - Everyone is honestly friendly and helpful. We were there 1st week of Oct, 89 deg only rained 1 evening for about an hour"
