Accommodations
Rooms at Grand Bahia Principe Akumal are spacious and comfortable, featuring two full-sized beds or one king-sized bed, air-conditioning, full bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, mini-bar and balcony. Private safes are available for a nominal charge. Guests with children will appreciate the safety of the supervised kids` mini-club, Principito, which is available for children ages 4-12.
Amenities

Restaurants and Bars
All a la carte restaurants offer air-conditioning. Guests are entitled to three a la carte dinners per week of stay [advance reservations required] and can choose among the five specialty restaurants in the complex: the Italian restaurant, Seafood restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, Mexican restaurant, Grill restaurant, Asian restaurant, and international gourmet restaurant. They also offer red and white wines with all meals. Guests who book a room in the golden section receive four a la carte dinners per week`s stay with advance reservations.
- Riviera is the main restaurant and serves an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No reservation required.
- Dolce Vita offers Italian specialties with buffet service for breakfast and lunch, and a la carte service for dinner. Reservations are required for dinner.
- Frutos del Mar is a seafood restaurant with a la carte dining that is open for dinner only and reservations are required.
- Arlequin is an international gourmet restaurant and reservations are required.
- El Acuario is a 24-hour beach restaurant serving snacks and American food. After midnight it only serves soft drinks.

RIVIERA MAYA GOLF CLUB offers the following services:
PRACTICE AREA: Open every day at 6:30 am. This area offers two driving range tee boxes, a chipping area with a bunker to practice sand shots and a large putting green. Also this area will be the base for the Golf Academy.
CLUB HOUSE: Providing the highest luxury, comfort and quality standards, the Club House offers a wide array of services to make your experience more enjoyable. A fully stocked Pro shop will offer club and shoe rentals as well as clothing and equipment of the best golf brands available. At both the Specialties Restaurant and the Sports Bar our golfers will be able to enjoy a wonderful view of the course while having lunch or their favorite beverage. The Spa, Gym and 2 tennis courts will provide the perfect place to both exercise and pamper our golfers with a beauty treatment. Finally, the snack, swimming pool and pool bar will provide a point of reunion for friends and family while sun tanning. A multipurpose meeting area, showers and lockers as well as a golf club storage area complete the array of services provided at the Club House.
PRO SHOP: This is the reception area where you will be welcome with a smiling friendly face. Feel free to take a minute of your time before or after your round to explore and find a very complete selection of golf items and the most exclusive brands. GPS: Each cart is equipped with the latest GPS technology that allows each golfer to experience in real time the accurate distance between the ball and the green as well as a virtual map of every hole. This technology allows every golfer to focus and maximize every stroke resulting in a more enjoyable golf experience.
RENTALS: Equipment and shoes are available for all of those who left them at home. We offer equipment of the leading brands which combine technology with performance to improve the game experience. Golf shoes are not mandatory at our course; however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a pair, you can always find them here.
ETIQUETTE: The use of proper golf attire at our course is enforced. Golf shorts or pants and collared shirt are the ideal combination. Bathing suits, denim, sandals and sleeveless shirts are not allowed at the course.
