Fantastic hotel...we will return !!! The only complaint is is that we had to return home...The staff work very very hard in every area of this hotel and make you feel so welcome. Some reviews have mentioned the buffet and that the food is the same every day, we didn't find this a problem at all, as there is such a vast choice that you could eat a different meal every evening for a fortnight easily, they always had at least 2 very large joints on the go too, we were very impressed with the vari... We LOVE the Grand Palladium and have returned about 10 times over that past 6 years or so....and in fact just booked another stay in October. We love seeing our local's every time we return....Alberto in the main dining, Obler at activities, Francisca at the main bar and so many others. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere, food, variety of areas to lounge, and the employees!

We took our family here and got back yesterday. Me and my husband took our 2 kids 2 and 4 and my brother who is 14. I wasn't the brightest and only packed 5 days worth of clothes for a 7 day stay for my kids. I requested laundry service and spoke to the housekeeper.. and she forgot it so I called the front desk and they said they would send someone.. then called back and said laundry was done and someone who get it tomorrow. Same thing happened the next day so my daughter ended up wearing the s... Read more

We were here the first week of October and we had a great relaxing week. There are some cons of the resort, such as the food. The Ribs and More restaurant was the best by far. The buffet had a lot of options, but the food was of poor quality. There was also a weird smell throughout the resort, which I assume comes from the zoo on sight. We still had a wonderful vacation. This time of year is great to go, the weather is nice and the resort isn't too crowded. We never had to wait for a table at d... Read more

We arrived via WestJet on Friday to a very humid hot afternoon. Met by Resort staff and driven to Grand Palladium. We travelled with friends who had visited Puerto Vallarta on two previous occasions and told us we'd love the trip. We were in awe when we arrived at the Resort. How beautiful, spacious and friendly everyone was. Our room was excellent, with a well stocked fridge. Our highlight of everyday was our evening meal. Judith our server was a dream. This was our first trip to Mexico and we didn't know what to expect. Travelling with a 14 month old was always going to be a challenge. I had read there was a kids club but wasn't too sure about leaving my baby there, however I read some reviews and they were positively glowing about the service. After the first two minutes of meeting the amazing girls there I was totally at ease. A huge acknowledgement to Arisema and the girls, they are so so lovely and so good with all the children. What a lovely resort, lovely bar staff, lovely room, really good food and drink. So many different places to relax and bars to choose from. Water sports are all free and really good fun, water sports guys all really friendly and helpful. Some of the bar staff go above and beyond to make you happy. Just such a shame that on our first few days my money got stolen from my Purse in my room, hotel staff say they "investigated it" after countless times chasing them up! Conclusion nothing they can do a... Read more

This place is the Mexican Butlins. Payed to upgrade to the royal suites after one night. Too loud. Lots of kids. Poor food. Payed 500 dollars to upgrade and it was an improvement but still ate out most nights as the dinner at the a la carte wasn't much better and some nights downright poor. Vacation made great by the amazing staff, Marisol, Carlos, and all. To sum up . Nice break but when you total up what we spent there is a whole lot better out there.

Grand Palladium was beautiful. A total of eight friends, including myself, stayed here during end of October. We upgraded to Adults Only Grand Suites section where you get 24 hour room service, your own butler, private pool and beach area and one bottle of liquor per night! You also get free access to the Sauna and Jacuzzi at the Spa. We headed up north to Sayulita to party instead of south to PV. We had a great time dancing at BAR DON PATO. Just returned from 11 nights at this hotel and what a fantastic holiday we had. The hotel was clean, food was good (a little bit repetative) and the staff were brilliant. The reception staff were very polite and spoke good English. Through out the hotel all of the staff greeted us warmly with a smile. Our room was on the small side, the air con worked very good, the only niggle was the size of the balcony, a bit disappointed as no room for chairs to enjoy the amazing view. The staff serv... All of the amenities were clean and in good shape. We used the gym facility and spa. Both were great. We stayed as a group of 12 for a week at the Grand Palladium Vallarta. We had a great week as a group but only some of it was thanks to the resort. Let me start with some of the really good features: - The fact the adult pool is open until Midnight is amazing. Its so nice to be able to hang around a pool on a hot night. Most resorts close their pools at sunset and this was just SOOOO much better. - The bar staff everywhere were amazing. They were quick, efficient, friendly and with such a b... Read more

We heard about this resort from friends that have stayed their previously, and they said it was great for families with kids but also gives you chance to relax without them due to their extensive kids club. We have kids that are 4 and 1. They have services, games, activities and full child care for all ages with experienced staff that clearly love being around children. They feed them lunch if you want, take them to the pool, and absorb them in the production of the kids show which is at 8pm nig... Read more

We attended this resort during Nov 4 to Nov 11. 1. The Light Fixtures on the wall of the bed frame was loss and would eventually fall off. 3. The lock on the Sliding Door window was loose. These were obvious things as I walked into this room 4. The large rocks in the water did injury me several times. These rocks were large beneath the water and I was cut 3 times. Just what I wanted on a vacation, I I love being around the beach. On the other side, the staff was perfect they bent over backwa... Read more

November 5 weekend was bliss. Weather was 30 degrees celsius + & the surfers beach at Grand Palladium Vallarta was perfecto. We mostly retreated to the adult infinity pool where the ocean view was amazing plus we enjoyed a couples massage at the resort spa- must ask for Fredy if you ever partake in a treatment.

We were treated great from our time of arrival. All the resort staff were excellent, but Ximena, one of the activity fun-makers was outstanding! She led us in Stretching classes, Meringe dance lessons, a Spanish lesson and games around the pool. She has great energy and people skills - we look forward to coming back :) Only one Spanish class was offered in our 10 days there - I would like one every day if possible.

This was our first time to this resort and while it is about 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, it is a beautiful location with nice pools and a lovely salt water pool that is magical at sunset...the beach had a little shop where you could purchase local merchandise, so no one was wandering up and down selling. Three nights there was a "market' set up with vendors inside the resort which was cool A big shout out to "The People of Palladium", who work so very hard to make sure each person is havin... First of all Punta Mita is a gorgeous beach spot with lots of green nature. Palladium offers a fantastic artificial salty water pool so you enjoy swimming at the sea without suffering a lot of waves and the rocky floor. I love that they offer straw-free drinks in order to help with the environment. Few hotels try to do this. The entertainment staff (Hervey, Ximena, Gaby, Tania, Carlos etc) is very friendly. Stayed at this resort for 2 weeks having booked through First Choice and flying on Thomson Airlines. Returned last week. The resort is locally 5* rated but advertised by the Tui group as 4*. I suggest that The Tui group should revisit this hotel to establish that the rooms reserved for them meet the 4* criteria, as ours certainly did not. I feel if we had upgraded to a junior suite or the Royal suites as opposed to a 'Delux' room our opinion of the resort would be slightly different. The hotel ... Read more

The Hotels layout is great. We booked an ocean view room and had a perfect view of the ocean all day and were close to 3 of the 5 restaurants. We used the adult only pool for the entire duration of our trip. We were treated extremely well by staff, especially by Matias (bartender at the pool bar) and Enrique (server at the buffet). There were nightly shows and activities and the staff ensured to keep it interactive with the guests.

The resort had a beautiful layout, there wasn't too much walking, however there were hills and stairs so i probably would not recommend it for older people.
