The place is beautiful, flowers all aroud!!! Belive it when it says is a real mexican style hotel, it really is!!! I do not have any complains about it, I actually enjoy my stay... But just you know its not a luxury american hotel. I like the idea of being that way, because I went to know Mexico and its culture. The place its very clean and friendly staff! Its very accesible, there are lots of restaurant close by and the beach its about two blocks away. My only complain is that they dont have an... Read more

Second time staying at this wonderful place. As everyone has already stated, the staff is always smiling and willing to do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are on the basic side but who goes on vacation to stay in a room. Great location as there are plenty of restaurants nearby and the beach is a short distance away by foot.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, and very cost-effective. The staff is incredibly accomodating and kind (thanks to German for all of his wonderful help and recommendations). Good pool, huge kitchen. This hotel had everything we wanted in a place to stay, and it had the best price in town for the location and the ammenities. There is no question -- when we are in Puerto Vallarta again, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Posada Roger.

From street level this looks nothing much, however once you enter and arrive in the courtyard you begin to realise why it has the reviews it has! The courtyard is full of trees, plants, flowers and feels cool and fresh. The staff are polite, and the rooms as has been previously said are basic but comfortable - who goes on holiday to spend the time in the room?! We only slept and washed there, otherwise as the location is so close to the beach and restaurants, we walked and explored daily. We... Read more

This hotel met all our expectations. This was our 11th trip to Puerto Vallarta having stayed all inclusive in the hotel zone. Never again. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and an awesome air conditioning unit. All the staff worked hard and said hello with a smile. This location is everything with many places to enjoy a meal at. Freddy's Toucan which was attached to the building offered great breakfasts. Such a cute hotel and so affordable! The rooms were bright and clean and the AC was awesome! Loved the courtyard and pool and the staff was wonderful! We had a third floor room so bags can be a bit much but they do have someone to help you if you ask. Loved our balcony, small but above all the action with a view of the mountains. super close to the beach and Malecon. Restaurant olla right across the street and down a few doors was amazing! The hotel is good for what we paid. The rooms are good sized, the air conditioner works well, and the location is perfect. However, the bed we had was really old (I could feel every spring), and the service was lacking, IMO. For example, there was only one umbrella by the pool but about 10 chairs. I asked one of the workers if he could bring out another umbrella because it was hot. He responded that they didn't have any and kept on walking. I later went to the reception area and asked if they ha... Read more

Stayed here for 7 days in May 2016 and I thought it was a great spot, especially for the money I paid. Outside of going to and from the airport I never needed to take a taxi anywhere because of how centrally located the property was. Bars, clubs, restaurants and the beaches are all within a 2-5 min walk outside the front door. Although I did not take advantage of it, they do provide tour arrangements at the front desk. The front desk was very polite and all were bilingual. They provide purified... Read more

This hotel is right in Old Town which is the best place to be to be near restaurants and the action. It's clean, the staff are wonderful, the rooftop view of the mountains reminds me of being in Los Angeles. It's not all inclusive and not luxury. It's for regular people who don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel and who want to eat the local food which is the divine. There is a restaurant attached to this hotel -- perfect. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting PV. Btw, PV is magical.

Stayed at Rogers hotel. Centrally located although it can get noisy, mostly during the day. The hotel is nice, modest. The hotel goes back a few years. Some might find it quaint. I have rented many private homes in P.V. over the years. This time around, I only had a short time to visit, so was recommended a stay here by a friend who has stayed here many times. It is a family run business that has a feeling of a secluded tropical and open feel to it. There is someone to assist you with your questions day and night. Being very close to the beach was a welcome difference since the trip was short. Restaurants surround this really comfortable hotel. I will be back.
