"We stayed at this hotel and was very unhappy with the overall cleanliness, the food was not great and service could have been better. The booze quality and options were not great. No kids allowed in the hot tub and absolutely no where for guests to go in the evening. The shows never had enough seating and then all seating was taken away. Extremely disappointed and staff could barely speak a word of English. Would not recommend this resort at all."

"Hotel over booked when we got there, had to move to another hotel for 3 nights then back to Las Palmas wasted a whole day checking out then back in ,not impressed, the elavator did not work half the time , and we were on the 4th floor . My cousin can not do stairs , so that was very hard , the air in the rooms were not the greatest , we sure got what we paid for , which means the next time we will be staying some where else."

"I went there during the week of Day of the Dead b/c my children had the week off from school where they attend in Mexico City. I am American but live in Mexico. I thought this place was perfect for my needs. Not just Las Palmas, but Puerto Vallarta in general. My kids were happy and entertained by the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. All-inclusive is the way to go esp with kids. The food was fine. Many options to choose from. Many tropical drinks. Pools and beach were clean. We went on three tours to the secluded beaches to snorkel and kayak, etc. Fantastic."

"We feel like we've found a bit of paradise at Las Palmas Resort. We were there in October 2011. It was not the busy time in PV, which is exactly what we were looking for-a quiet time in a resort filled with the ambiance of an older Mexican resort. The cleanliness of the rooms and the whole resort was amazing. The buffet food was always good and often wonderful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and gracious. It was difficult leaving after 7 peaceful days, but we are already planning a return trip as soon as possible...again during the off season."

"My husband and I have been stayed here 5 times .and will be staying there again for this winter trip also.We meet out great friends from ottawa there every winter. I love this hotel and all of the staff..We have made great friendships with some of the staff..Edgar the night bartender is an amazing friendly guy!! Tip him big! lol David the daytime bartender is also a great man..The door man ..very friendly..This hotel is a home away from home for us..There's nothing bad I can really say... I can not wait to seee everyone feb 2012..whoo hoo!!"
