The hotel over all was fine they had put us on the ground floor looking out onto the kids pool which we found awesome the food was overall good the one restaurant that wasn't buffet style had an age restriction which was 15 which I feel should be lower but that is fine my wife and I went alone and the it was awesome every staff member from maintenance to cleaning to cooks I found very friendly we stayed for 10 days over New Years and felt that the New Years dinner/Party was very good

I arrived at Las Palmas on Xmas Eve on a Two Week Air Transat All Inclusive Holiday here's my own personal view of this Resort.I got to LP after 6 PM and was quickly checked into Room 350 of level 3 of the 4 Storey Building it was a plain dated room with a Single Big Bed with a poor mattress this combined with the noisy nearby Mandala Night Club meant a sore back & little sleep. On another Night/Morning I was kept awake by a Garbage Truck that was collecting Trash plus doing recycling very Early... Read more

The first time I went to las palmas I was 14, the second time when I was 17 and then again when I was 18 and of course now when I'm 20. This is a clean place and I as a young women feel completely safe the whole time I am there. The food is not always the most glamours but I am one of the pickiest eaters in the world and I've never not been able to find something to eat that I enjoy. Each time I go all the staff are as kind and awesome as ever. However there's always a few who you form relation... Read more

These guys have a great setup. Family oriented as well. They take very good care of you ?. The food is good, rooms are clean, the shop at the hotel is affordable and carries a decent assortment of product. Within walking distance of many services such as banks, pharmacies, grocery stores.

My nine friends and myself are down here for two weeks we left snow at home first of all I'm not a five star traveller this is a three but you get way more than you pay for. My girlfriend and I stayed in room nine we look out over the reg pool but we still have view of ocean. It's clean and comfy what else do you need. There's no English Channel s on TV so forget that bring along your mp player and speaker and your ready to go. The buffet for all meals are similar to other resorts for a few meal... Read more

Absolutely the best service we ever have had. Amazing staff from the lobby to the cleaning stuff. Rooms are dated and basic but very clean...what would you need anyway if the weather and the people outside of your room are GREAT. New Years gala dinner, and the party 5*. Loved it!!!

Had the best vacay here. Great staff they learned my name within a couple hours of my arrival, super friendly. great service at the restaurant, buffet and bars. Amazing pina coladas. Adult pool was awesome, met lots of very nice locals and a nice few fellow Canadians. Spent very little time in the "outdated" rooms so that was a non factor, im only in there to sleep, eyes closed, problem solved. Rooms serviced well everyday, clean. The only "off" thing is little gnats converging around the settle... Read more

Cons- Needs updating, in bad need of repairs to bring it up to par, normally tire of food after 1 1/2 weeks but tired of this after only 2 days, no guacamole or salsa to be found, air conditioning almost non existent, lots of kids, entertainment done almost entirely in Spanish, access to pool difficult for anyone with disabilities, disco near this hotel is going till past 4am and can keep you awake Pros- Staff are excellent, clean, adult only swimming pool and hot tub which is enforced, grounds ... Staff is very friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It was really a nice visit. In the evenings, just sat on the sea wall and watched the ocean and fireworks. A short bus trip to go to the malecon, .80cents. either way. Walk to mall or Walmart (wear comfortable shoes, if Walmart).
