My wife-brother and sister in law and myself stayed at The Rostia and had a BLAST, I thought the staff was very nice, other than one guy at the bar that seemed to hate on me a bit. We tried to be as pleasant and respectful as we could, we tipped our maid well (100 pesos a day- $5.55 USD) with the exchange rate we discovered that there were very few Canadians in PV, perhaps that was an indicator. Both of our rooms were clean, well kept and everything worked properly. We witnessed a bit of high dr... Read more

We planned for our 65 guests to stay at Rosita Hotel and El Pescador Hotel for our wedding in February. My husband and I have stayed at Rosita before, so this was our second visit. The reason we chose this hotel above all others in Puerto Vallarta is because it has the BEST location and the most reasonable prices for all of our guests. Rosita and El Pescador are about 3 blocks away from each other, so it was very easy for our guests to communicate and visit each hotel. Some of the rooms at Rosit... Read more

I have been going to the Rosita since the 80's. I always enjoy my time there and feel welcomed every time. They have new beds and I was so happy not to feel like I was sleeping on a cardboard box. I like the location and the people working there, many have worked there for several years so that tells me a little something about the place. Great location, close to everything, the food is good quality. The owner's son even helped me out when I was very sick on one of my visits. I really felt like ... Read more

Located at the end of the Malecon. Has nice pool. Rooms were clean and staff was nice and helpful. Came with breakfast and had nice one man band music in the evening. Looking to stay on the Malecon this is a good choice. Usually very affordable. Around $50 US. Food was good. Happy hour daily!
