This was our 2nd stay at the Eloisa. The location makes up for any lack of luxury!!! Located in the center of Old Town, 1/2 a block from Playa Los Muertos, this hotel offers relatively in expensive accommodations for a prime location. There are restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping all within a short distance. We are ready to book for next year!!!

i am a regular traveler to pv and had stopped at the hotel and toured it on a previous trip. i rated this hotel as excellent because i knew what i was getting when i booked it. i also did not expect this clean basic hotel to be the ritz. we booked a junior suite and i think i would book a 1 bedroom suite next time as it has a balcony and more living space. we had 2 junior suites as my brother also came with hubby and me. we had the inside suites which did not have the shared balcony the outsid... I stayed one week solo in this hotel. My first 3 nights were in one of the 1 bedroom Suites with private balcony. I loved this unit, and of course many people want them, but there aren't a lot of them. Natural lighting was great in this unit, even though mine faced north. Lighting from lamps was also good in the bedroom. The bathroom is older but clean, decorated with Mexican tile. There were two built in wider than normal cement sofas (with cushions) in the living room that would be ... Read more

We enjoyed nine days in the Hotel Eloisa. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day. The beds were a little hard, but ok. We both prefer softer mattresses, but that's a personal preference. The bathroom was small but clean. We would have preferred stronger water pressure in the shower. The location is great, if you want to be close to Playa de Los Muertos beach. The Saturday Farmers Market is directly across the street from Eloisa. A breakfast of fresh ... Read more

WiFi works great from room 402. No street view but was fairly quiet. Continental breakfast is decent. Roof top terrace is the attraction here. Small pool up there; overall was quiet and great for sunbathing and sitting under the stars. Bus stop to catch a bus to Walmart and Costco is just across street kitty corner. 7.5 pesos one way. No ice machine. Standard room booked off is small. But airconditioning worked great. Had plenty hot water. Bed is firm and sufficient but 2 double beds ... Read more

Suite 12, Remodeled room above the lobby. The entire stay guests were told the wifi is being repaired. Stayed 4 days and not one day it was working. They IP address & router issues but since I can't speak Spanish I couldn't help. The front desk staff is not overly friendly and don't expect much from them. You'll be good! You'll love the location across the park where you can workout to loud Mexican dance music blaring at 0800 for ONE hour‚?¶.. I just sat at a cafe and started day drinking! ... Read more

We have stayed there for 6 weeks every winter for 5 years. Would not stay anywhere else. We have a suite and have had front and back suites. We like the front with all the activity. All the staff are friendly and so helpful and I don't know where the bad reviews come from. Location is perfect. We are going back on Jan 20 2017 until March 13,2017

Hotel sits on top of a few bars. Super loud drinking and singing until 4AM. Crank AC so you don't hear them. Then you are cold, pull up sheets (no blankets) which smell like someone's cheap cologne-sheets not washed? Internet didn't work.......
