Hotel El Pescador
Paraguay #1117, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico 48350

Hotel El Pescador is located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, right by the famous Malecon, the ocean-side walk way in the center of the cty, right by the main shopping area, restaurants, and everything that is going on in Puerto Vallarta. Want to know Puerto Vallarta? Want to get to know Mexico? This is the place to stay!
The hotel also offers restaurant and bar service, a swimming pool, laundry and Free Wireless Internet.

They say that paradise is a state of mind. When all of the ingredients are of the highest quality, it can also be a place. Puerto Vallarta Mexico qualifies for this high distinction. Our friends tell us so. When folks from Vancouver complain of 60 straight days of cloudy weather and rain, and travelers from Phoenix talk of plus 100 degree faranheit heat, and East-coasters dig their way out of snow banks, we hear their message, as planes land with visitors looking for sun and relaxation.

Unique to Mexico, and perhaps the world, is the Bay of Banderas, where resorts and hotels light up the sky. Immediately upon arrival, you will be amazed at the array of choices from golf, whale watching, and ecotourism. Puerto Vallarta is the choice of many, for weddings, for that long overdue vacation, or for a long to be remembered honeymoon. Adventure is at your doorstep, in town or to the north or south. Sayulita may not have waves equal to Hawaii, but it nevertheless attracts surf aficionados from all points. Organized tours are available, or you may want to rent a jeep and explore for yourself. You`ll quickly realize that our definition of paradise can be yours as well.

Pool is under remodeling until October 15 2014.

This little hotel may not be your typical 3 or 4 stars accomodation, but it clean, quiet, close to all the action in downtown and super affordable! Hotel El Pescador is locted just about a block from the famous Malecon, which is the main sidewalk in downtown where many of the popular nightclubs, restaurants and sight-seeing amenities are in Puerto Vallarta. It is close to super stores and shopping areas, and the best part of it, is that it is right on the beach; from its pool, you take a flight ... Read more

This small hotel is clean and comfortable (basic but has all you need) It is right on the beach with a nice pool and patio. The food is excellent and a great value with wonderful staff. It is a short walk to the Malecon and all the downtown has to offer.

Stayed here with a large group this February and was pleased the location. There is no all inclusive option however. The rooms are basic, but I'm mostly concerned with cleanliness and was happy. Most of my criticism comes from the service while lounging around the pool. Our group is quite 'social' and we found there were long periods of time between service from the staff, we frequently had to go to the bar to order food and refreshments, and clean up was even more sparse. We bussed our own t... Read more

Although this hotel is quite old the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and efficient. The restaurant has good food and reasonably priced. The pool area has lots of lounges & chairs to accommodate the many guests. The pool is wonderful too! The location is perfect for those who want to be close to the malecon (only 2 blocks) but at the same time in a quiet area with many conveniences nearby like a grocery store as well as many, many restaurants.

Quiet and relaxing Great service at the restaurant and bar. Our waiter/bartender Alfonso was especially nice, and made great Bloody Mary's! Our room was clean and comfy. House keeping was exceptional, as was the front desk personnel.

Their location is GREAT. The pool is literally in front of the beach! The hotel is at a great walking distance from all the cool night clubs at downtown. The price is also Ok and you get a small mexican breakfast included. It would be a great lowbudget experience buuuuuut.... I made my reservation 4 months prior to my arrival. They told me they took credit cards and that up arrival I had to check in using my card but was charged at check out. LIEEEEES! To make my reservation effective I had t... Read more

A nice, large, and clean, air conditioned room. Quiet location on a side street off the main drag. Street taco venders open until very late across the street at the corner. Two blocks (walking distance) to the North end of the Mallecon. A real breakfast included most everytime we have stayed here.

When I was searching for hotels online, I was looking for the cheapest one right at the beach and near the Malecón boardwalk. I came across this hotel and saw the pictures w/c confirmed that it was right next to the beach. I took the chance and booked this for a whole week. From the lobby you can see the pool and the beach which was very refreshing and the highlight of our stay. The sad part was our room. It was a double bed and the covers were rough and old. It was not comfortable at all but w... Read more
