We stayed at Garza Blanca for 7 nights and LOVED it. The resort is beautiful and the staff goes out of their way to make us comfortable. We especially enjoyed the poolside service from Francisco Lopez. He was friendly, fun, efficient and we will miss him! Thank you for the wonderful experience! We will definitely be back.

We had been wanting to go to Garza Blanca for some time when out of the blue, money appeared so we booked a week in an all inclusive junior suite. Marvelous. Cannot say enough about the staff who cannot do enough for you; the food...fantastic; the room beautiful with wonderful bathroom toiletries, robes etc. Available to use: gym, spa, a multitude of pools and a variety of restaurants where, other than the buffet at breakfast, is gourmet off a menu. They will cook to order and yes, other than so... Read more

SUMMARY: The service is spectacular. Sal at the pool is the BEST! He was on top of our food and drink orders, and even handed us fresh beer cans so we didn't have to get out of the pool! All the staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked by. The rooms are amazing, and spacious, and clean! The steakhouse was really good, and the service was fantastic. We stayed 6/10-6/13/2016 with some friends and their children. We arrived about 3 pm and our room wasn't going to be ready until 5. We w... Read more

We found a great deal for Garza Blanca through one of the travel websites we use and took a chance. Before going, we looked at the reviews on Yelp and were a bit concerned about our stay due to the large number of responses about pushy salesmen hawking timeshares. We braced for it, but surprisingly, we were not approached about buying into a timeshare AT ALL during our 8 days there! Not sure if they read their Yelp reviews and eased off the throttle or maybe we just looked like we couldn't af... Read more

This is our third trip to this property in one year! We had been traveling down to Cabo on a regular basis until we found this jewel. There is no better value in Mexico, or probably anywhere else. The general manager has done the most amazing job of training his staff, such that you actually feel like you're at a Ritz-Carlton or at a St. Regis, (assuming that the staff at those other hotels were actually friendlier). We live in Laguna Beach, and so far, we have brought about 15 of our friends ... Read more

This is our 3rd stay @ Garza Blanca & 2nd time during spring break. Weather in March is outstanding - Garza Blanca location is great - quick cab ride into downtown Puerto Vallarta. This time we rented a 2br/3ba Ocean Front suite - well worth it - facing the beach, very close to the pools - beautiful unit. Garza Blanca suites are always extremely clean - housekeeping is great. Restaurants are all great - we do the all-inclusive and love it - as the food & drink are really high quality. We've... Read more

We utterly loved Garza Blanca and will definitely go back. Grounds: The Garza Blanca Preserve, Resort and Spa is tucked between the ocean and jungle-covered hills. It encompasses five "towers" of rooms with two infinity pools among them, the Hotel Mousai, various restaurants and bars, and recreational areas, all on varying levels on a hill. There are trolleys every 15 minutes that carry guests around the grounds. I looked at pictures of Garza Blanca online before booking, but they didn't real... Read more

Garza Blanca is a wonderful resort. The service is outstanding. The food is delicious and the chefs have created dishes that are unique, beautifully presented and feature amazing flavors. The spa is fantastic! There are fun activities including a kayak excursion to the arches. Our guide, Pedro, was wonderful. Unless you really want the discount card or other special offers, avoid the membership sales pitch.

We loved our stay at Garza Blanca. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy Puerto Vallarta without the craziness of downtown. The rooms were a nice size and the staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed a hike on the hotel grounds. Hopefully, they will leave some of the beautiful hillside undeveloped. The beach was at the hotel was fairly rocky, but we enjoyed sitting by the seaside. I got all inclusive for 5 nights: Resort is not Kids Friendly - Good resort for couples or old people. Very limited food options for kids poor room service expensive - super expensive wifi ($10/per device) resort don't honor special request agreed at time of booking (phone booking) Biggest of all... no access to beach. I felt cheated with small/limited beach access they have. very disappointed.

Incredible resort! Well maintained, family friendly, and great service. The all inclusive was worth the extra money. They don't scrimp on the food and beverages like other all inclusives. We had a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen. We only used the fridge for drinks and the microwave to reheat our coffee. The room also had a dryer that came in handy for drying our bathing suits. From the staff to the accommodations to the amazing food and drinks (of course) this was 5 star all the way. The staff was friendly and very attentive to all of our needs. The chef at the Japanese restaurant went out of his way to make a special dinner for one of our party because they had an allergy to seafood. It was nothing short of amazing. Last year we became owners and this was the first year spent there. It was definitely worth the time and money. Gracias Garza Blanca for the trip of a li... Read more

We stayed here for out Honeymoon back in January 2015. The room was gorgeous and clean, service was excellent and food, no matter the restaurant you pick, was always good. We got the all-inclusive deal which includes all meals, tips, some activities like Kayak (worth it!) and pool service, which was the best because on the weekend they had an amazing barbecue and we just chilled next to the pool with some wine and enjoyed the view. We plan to come back for our next anniversary trip.

The timeshare sales atmosphere was unwelcome and uncomfortable. The place is beautiful but empty, think Dubai. They are over-staffed and the staff are all in on the timeshare sales atmosphere. Every transaction is followed by "do you have the discount?" The 15% "discount" is obtained by spending half the day with a sales person disguised as a tour guide. All around you at breakfast are bewildered couples realizing they are the surprise recipients of a sales pitch rather than free breakfast ... Read more

We stayed in a 2bdr 2ba room and boy was it luxurious! From the 360 views to the well appointed furniture and well equipped kitchen, it was an amazing and comfortable experience. The restaurants were all great, especially the Boca steakhouse and sushi restaurant at the adults-only hotel in the property. The spa was also fantastic and yoga class in the mountainside was a neat experience. Would certainly return!

We recently visited Garza Blanca in beautiful Puerto Vallarta. This was an anniversary vacation so we wanted a special experience. The resort was under repair by the ocean (which made it noisy during the day); however, they upgraded our suite to a two bedroom in the mountains. It did not disappoint. We did not care for the high pressure sales pitch of vacation points (similar to timeshare), so if you are not interested then decline upfront so you don't waste your time and theirs. However, we did... Read more

My family is pretty well traveled. Been to PV 5 times. Read the reviews of this hotel and loved the beaches on the south side of the bay on previous trips so we decided to stay at Garza Blanca Preserve. Transportation: Pickup at the airport was seemless and the resort is about 30 minutes from the airport. 20 minutes to get thru town then about 10 minutes along the coast to the resort. Check in went quickly and we had the most incredible room 4091A. Tower 4 and 9 floors up. Room: The 2 bedroom ... Read more

Plus: 1) Very nice rooms and great views. 2) great location 3) Friendly staff. It was a pleasure to talk to Luz. She was very much of a professional and she went out of her way to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Room for improvement: 1) Pool Menu (Food is very bland) . Disappointed with fish tacos and Burgers. I would change the chef and menu. 2) Both steak house and the main restaurant also should modify their menu and food. Would be nice if they serve nice Mexican cuisine 3) room serv... Read more

We've been to Puerto Vallarta several times But this was definitely the nicest place to stay. We booked a honeymoon suite and had a amazing view of los arcos. The room the infinity pool the restaurants and staff are 1st class. You won't be disappointed. We're returning again in Jan and meeting our friends we met last year. I would highly recommend garza Blanca :)

The resort was beautiful and the location was perfect. Located on a sandy beach, the resort offers kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The grounds are lovely and the pools are amazing. The staff was absolutely wonderful, they were kind and gracious. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Loved our room, it was beautiful, clean, spacious and the hammock on the balcony was a great touch.

My best friend is an owner at this wonderful property, and he brought us down for a 16 day vacation. We were in Tower 4, in one of the resident suites. This was the best place I have ever stayed on any vacation I've ever had. The suite was awesome! With the lockout, it totaled over 4200 square feet of luxury. There was a sliding door that opened up a whole wall to the balcony area, and the view was fantastic. There were some minor issues during our stay, such as a stove that stopped working, and... This review is better late than never. We visited at the end of June, 2016. I probably shouldn't give such a glowing review for fear that too many visitors will spoil future visits. Everything about this trip was perfect. It's a short commute from and back to the airport. The staff's hospitality was impeccable from check in to check out. The service at all the restaurants, particularly at Boccados and Blanca Blue was exceptional. The seafood was especially delicious. Our room had an incredible ... Read more

This is probably one of the easiest reviews I will ever write. This hotel is the most impressive place we've ever stayed at. For my wife and my 10 year anniversary we had the chance to go to Maui, Hawaii and stay at the Fairmont hotel. It was AMAZING!! This place blows doors on that hotel. I cannot (CANNOT) believe this is not rated as the #1 hotel in Puerto Vallarta. We came to Garza Blanca for a family reunion. 23 family members stayed here. Most of us booked the 2 bedroom panoramic suit... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 marvellous weeks. (Nov. 7 to the 21st) The service is outstanding. The pool personel is always at your disposal for drinks, food and towels.(towels are easy to take and no cards for them) In the room they change the towels, bed sheets on demand. We add bottled water in profusion. We were at tower 4 on the 6th floor in the junior panorama suite .Best room we ever add in all our trips. As for the à la carte restaurants we never add any problems to book them on the ... Read more

The service that Migel Lemus and Ernesto Omelas provided was outstanding. Miguel helped my new wife, yes we were on our honeymoon, to get a really nice seat at Le Cliff restaurant as well as guide us to nice places around the city. Ernesto's pool service was outstanding and assisted us with all our needs. Garza Blanca is my favorite resort and I can's wait to return next summer.

My husband and I together with our daughter and her partner stayed here in two Junior Suites. When we checked in we advised them that all charges would be paid for on my husband's credit card. More on that later. We weren't overly impressed with the woman who checked us in. The suites were very nice and large with lovely views of the ocean. So far so good. The resort itself is very lovely with lush gardens and beautiful pool areas and restaurants. Food was very inconsistent. At one meal i... Read more

I travel quite a bit and can be hard to please. This is one of the best resorts I've visited. The service is very good and the amenities superb. The attention to detail shows in every aspect. The water extractor for the swimsuit to the sanitized heated toilet seats with front and back water jets and air-dryer were quality. The massage was the best I've had ever. I'm going back soon.

The resort and facilities are absolutely beautiful and the service is fantastic. If you are on the all-inclusive package, don't bother doing the wine tasting. They pour the same wine you are already getting for free.
