Location

Excellent down town location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the famous ``Malecon`` in the heart of Puerto Vallarta.
Located in the heart of the most traditional area of the Old Vallarta, Playa Los Muertos, only 3 minutes away from downtown and 20 minutes from the International Airport.

Why Stay Here

In addition to the beauty of this spectacular setting, the inherent warmth and friendliness of the locals have attracted a lively expatriate community from the United States, Canada, and Europe, who in turn make vacationers from those countries feel right at home.
Fortunately though, the town has retained its quaint charm. Picturesque colonial and whitewashed buildings, cobblestone streets that wind in and out, red Spanish tile roofs, and a brilliant profusion of flowers and jungle-like flora differentiate Puerto Vallarta from any other destination.

Resort Details

The hotel has two buildings, one faces the ocean and the other lies across the street. The second building has a rooftop spa tub and suntan terrace.
The hotel features comfortable facilities including:

  • Beach
  • Private Umbrellas
  • Safety deposit boxes
  • Fax service
  • Medical service on call.
  • Beach Club Amapa Sunset Restaurant with room service from 8:00 - 11:00 pm

Nearby

Tropical forested mountains and mineral rich volcanic slopes appear to literally rise from the sea and 100 miles of mountain ringed golden coastline hugs the stunningly beautiful Bay of Banderas. The country`s broadest and deepest natural bay, the Bay of Banderas teems with aquatic life that many visitors will likely discover on an eco-tour (or perhaps sample at one of the city\\\'s amazing seafood restaurants!). The bay`s many blessings - dozens of beaches, sparkling sunshine, and clear blue water ideal for snorkeling and swimming - are sheer magnets for visitors.

Fine oceanfront room with great view. Beach service fair, delivered by outside company. Not enough chairs. Restaurant had great food and close to many other fine restaurants. No pool or hot tub although the surf is mild. PV people are some of the nicest and friendliest people anywhere.

This place may be a little weathered but that's what comes with the location. Beachfront and access to the best part of Puerto Vallarta. Old town or the "Romantic District" is what it truly is. Great variety of food and culture just steps away. The maid keps the rooms very clean and the desk is always willing to help. Get a beachfront room, very much worth the extra money.

The hotel is so homey and the people at the front desk will help you at all times! It has a super convenient location, the Malecon is just a short walk away! The only issue we had is that the wifi doesn't really cover the whole hotel, it's mainly in the 1st floor.

This clean, economical hotel sits right on Los Muertos Beach, & we loved it! From Ian & Claudia at the front desk to Isabel the very artistic housekeeper, the entire staff was friendly & helpful. The bed was comfy, & we were right in the middle of the Zona Romantica with fabulous restaurants everywhere. We've just booked a return trip to the Emperador for this fall!

On the beach in one of the most desirable locations Los Muertos Beach .... The staff was amazing and very accommodating to me ..... Upon asking for an upgrade they were able to make that happen on my second night to a room on the top floor ! Very safe and secure for a solo female traveler ..... The added beach service from si senor beach bar downstairs was a huge bonus ....

Budget hotel on the beach, you can't go wrong, excellent location, great staff, very clean, economical price. The restaurant is wonderful, the beach is clean. The pier is so close, take a trip to Yelapa for $20.00US. for the day. We will stay here again.

We just finished our stay at the Emperador Beachfront Hotel here in Puerto Vallarta. We checked in on July 2nd and left today. We spent the 4th of July on an excursion and ate on the beach at the La Palapa. The hotel is located right behind the restaurant Si Senior and right next door to La Palapa. You also have a lot of restaurants nearby! So compare prices and menu items! The hotel is ok for a few days stay, no clubs nearby! However the nightlife will pass you by and they make it a point f... For many years I have been going to Puerto Vallerta, Mexico and have selected many high end hotels in the area. Many establishments offered all inclusive but could resist the many wonderful places to dine in the city especially in the Zona Romantica. This ocean side hotel is next to a fine dining place and the staff is superior headed by Ian Robles who is comparable to the magnificent view from my room.

Located on the beach, the rooms are large and clean. Chairs towels are available. The staff is extremely helpful, Ian, Claudia and Henock are an asset to the hotel. We return every year. Restaurant is located beachfront. Have lunch in your chaise lounge while sunning.

this is a great inexpensive hotel in P.V. I have stayed at many times. It is very inexpensive and on the beach, though not fancy. best to ask for a junior suite or ocean view or you might get stuck on street side

Nice, clean, somewhat dated, no-frills hotel....but the view! Right in front of the pier at the south end of the Malecon/Boardwalk. When you step out on the nice sized deck you have a gorgeous panoramic view of the pier structure right in front of you with the ocean and the bay as an amazing back drop. Staff was very friendly to provide a hair drier and none was included with the room and we got caught in a torrential downpour.

Although reasonably basic but nice, staff were so helpful. I needed to call states and they let me free of charge. Just nice and simple. Plus the best view which is priceless. The view is the best view in the world. It's a shame that the touts and sellers are so hard core outside the hotel as this ruined it a bit for me.

We have stayed at the Emperador Vallarta Beachfront 3 times in the last year and a half. It was referred to me by a friend that has been staying there for years. We have always stayed in a Ocean Front Suite with the large patio and kitchen on the patio. The first stay was 14 nights in March 2015 and we fell in love with the location and the wonderful staff, Daniel, Ian and Claudia. They will do anything they can to help you and make your stay as much fun and pleasurable. It is very importan... Read more
