"We went to Dreams Villamanga Neuvo Vallarta for our honeymoon.
As soon as we checked in, we were welcomed by one of the VIP staff (the VIP staff are there to sell you time shares) They ask you age to try to sell you time shares, but you need to be 28 or older

Our room was excellent, everything was clean, and was cleaned twice a day.
The one thing I would say wasnt that great was the food at the resort.

Breakfast - only one place is open for Breakfast, called World Cafe and it wasnt great, most of the same food is served, and if you have dinner at the same place, you can tell some of the food is reheated and used for breakfast.
Not all the food is labelled, so I wasnt too sure what I was eating.


Lunch - Pretty much all restaurants are open for lunch unless otherwise specified.
All food is plated fancy, but we found some of the meals with meat dry
not too appetizing

Dinner - Again most restaurants are open unless specified.
same as lunch

We ate mostly room service the trip and hung out by the pool.
When it came to extra activities the entertainment team was great, they didnt push you to do stuff, and are super friendly.

Overall it was a great place to relax but not to eat, I would not recommend this resort"

"The first impression that I got from the staff was that they were very friendly. Upon arrival, we were greeted with mimosas which were excellent. The room was very nice, even though it was the back tropical view. It was very clean, although we did see a few ants in our room (not sure if it was because of the summer weather). The only few things that didn't meet my expectations was that the staff there TRY to push you to buy one of their timeshare condos and they still keep bugging you, even after you say no. Also there IS a late check-out but with an additional fee and wi-fi is also an additional fee. The all-inclusive restaurants are good, especially for dinner and the service is great. However there is only one or two restaurants open for lunch ONLY and the rest is open only for dinner. Portofino and Oceana for dinner is what I recommend. I wish the pool area was a little more decorated. I guess what you pay for is the ROOM itself. The rest of the resort was okay."

"When we booked this room, it was a category 'Partial' Ocean View, unfortunately, what we got was a were given parking lot view, maintenance-service view.
This room in the 2nd floor look straight down to the hotel's service maintenance entrance and it was located next to the fire-exit stairs. It is shocking that AAA awarded this hotel a four diamonds category in 2012.

This hotel was oversold and it did not have the staff capacity to support it, there were some staff members willing to help and one of them commented 'I have been working on this resort for year and I noticed more and more customers being unsatisfied'.

The room on this 'All Inclusive' resort was missing a fridge containing snacks and drinks that suppose to be re-stack daily, missing towels, broken closet door-knob, and a steam-iron that when used, theater dripped all over the clothes.

One great experience to point out was there 'Portfino' Italian restaurant, the Chef offers excellent menu choices, the staff was extremely friendly, and the overall experience was definitely of what you expect from a four diamond resort. Other than this restaurant, AAA should take a closer look at how this property was rated or perhaps, AAA standards are not what they used to be.

This property is not in Puerto Vallarta as we hoped for, it is in another state and you need an hour drive to get to Downtown Puerto Vallarta.

In the future, we wouldn't be staying at this property nor, we would use any of their resort chain."

"My Girlfriend and I went here for one of our friend's destination weddings. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Hotel itself was very nice, everything was very clean, the food was great and the pools and beach were excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends/ family."
