"Great staff - very friendly, hardworking, efficient at making the entire experience run smoothly. Facilities are in good condition and there is plenty of variety. Stayed in the new tower, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Beach is great, though not really suited for surfing or body surfing with a pretty aggressive shore break that might get inexperienced swimmers in trouble. Food and drink is as plentiful and varied as one would expect and is generally of good quality. Confirmed for ourelves that all-inclusives really aren't our speed, so won't be returning, but that is no reflection on the quality of this destination. If you're into all-inclusives, I doubt you could do much better than this."

"Loved my stay at Dreams Puerto Vallarta! This being the third Dreams Resort that I stood at, I was very pleased. The staff and food was excellent and in my opinion better than other resorts that I have visited. We left the resort to hit the downtown area which is very tourist friendly and for other excursions as well. Only thing that the resort does lack is the nightlife within the actual resort. Shows at night usually stop at 10pm and the only thing that is open is the bar. This resort has no clubs, so if you enjoy the nightlife, you will have to travel to the downtown area where all the clubs are located. Other than that, the only thing that I did notice was the great number of kids and locals that were also staying at the resort. Sometimes the pool were overwhelmed with children. Despite the lack of nightlife and the great abundance of kids everywhere, my stay was very pleasant and wouldn't mind going back."

"After reading the reviews of this resort, I was really looking forward to my 5-night stay. The private 500-meter long private beach is as beautiful as pictured. The wait and bar staff are as gracious and welcoming as other reviewers led me to believe. My main faults are with: food freshness/quality; housekeeping; and ease of booking activities. From day 1, my partner (who has an iron stomach) and I suffered food poisoning. We checked the date on the yogurt we were served for breakfast--expired two weeks prior! Much of the food was neither cooked properly nor very fresh. We hoped that the resort's elegant restaurant, Portofino, would be decent. My eggplant parmasean was basically served raw. The linginue was beyond al dente...and the clams on top were straight out of a can. At the World Cafe, for breakfast, my potatoes were served cold and chalky, and the whites of the eggs were not cooked on the Huevos Rancheros. I struggled to find good Mexican food at the resort. Salsa was nowhere to be found--everything was bland and improperly cooked. That said, the waiters were gems. So kind and helpful. Not their fault they had to serve nasty food--so I always tipped them regardless. The bar staff by the adults pool were also excellent. Regarding the cleanliness of our room, when we arrived the floor was covered in sand and smelled musty. The sheets were damp from the humidity and incredibly scratchy. When we would request our room be cleaned, it would happen half the time. But every night, when we were mostly undressed in our room, around 8pm, the maid would let herself in (to our great surprise--and for what?). Three times the maid helped herself to a full naked view of my partner! Regarding the $200 of bonus vouchers we were to receive, they were all impossible to use. We gave up trying to use them in the end! Not a restful or healthy holiday all in all. Will never go back."

"We had a great time except for all the soliciting to buy time shares was truly a pain and a waste of time, and the need for me to surrender my drivers lisence to get towels proved also to be a inconvience cause I ended us forgetting my lisences leaving them in them in thier custidy.

"This was my first experience with an all-inclusive resort, and it was fabulous. All of the food was very good, and all of the staff was polite and helpful. The beach is beautiful, and releasing a newly-hatched sea turtle was an unforgettable experience. It's not the newest or fanciest building, but who cares? You'll want to spend all your time on the beach or in the pool anyway."
