My family and I just returned to Southern California from a nine day trip in Puerto. Vallarta. The purpose of my visit was for my wife and I to renew our vows and for our families to vacation in paradise. We had five families stay at the Bel Air and had a great time. The Bel Air is a friendly resort in a great location with a great view. We really enjoyed the infinity pool and awesome beach. We loved that the pool and beach are literally minutes from any room in the resort. I really can't c... Read more

I have worked for hotels for 20yrs and customer service needs to be the most important thing on all employee mind everyday and that reflect on there supervisor and mangers! Check in was a nightmare then the room not being ready and finally I went to eat 5 til 5pm and they said it was closed til dinner and reason why we were late due to the issue at front desk and the room not being ready when they gave us the keys! I would love to hear from management about my issues! Chef Mario rodriguez

The best view in the world right over the ocean, an infinity pool in paradise and unparalelled service. All restaurants were excellent¡. Cant wait to return. All waiters and service people like Bernardo, Federico, Martin and Veronica treated us with kindness and caring. Im filled with gratitude as we return to Ventura, California.

Besides being under a state of construction, the property was worn down. I begged to be moved from the 6th floor to the first floor because the elevator broke down two days in a row. They finally placed me beside the construction site with jack hammers and tractors as my daily wake up calls. Room service brought the incorrect menu items and the restaurants misrepresented their cuisine. The Mexican Italian fusion restaurant didn't exist, and the sushi was neither fresh or authentic. I'm just happ... Read more

This resort is north of Puerto Vallerta and next door to The Flamingos Resort. Pool and grounds are beautiful and there are palapas to sit under on the beach. You need to reserve lounges near the pool and beach early. We had a two bedroom with a gorgeous view of pool and ocean. Our room was clean. We had 3 bathrooms one of which showed a lot of wear and tear. The refrigerator was clean but the kitchen was very outdated and worn. Luckily you can catch a 10 minute cab to Bucerias and find some exc... Read more

Employees provide excellent service!! It does have a very nice pool with an awesome view. My room was given to me with dirty or stained bed sheets. The food is expensive and of very bad quality. Food was old or made with old ingredients.

I stayed here for 10 days the first day I got there my room was incredibly loud due to construction I went to the front desk and ask for a different room they told me there were no rooms available which the hotel was at less than 45% capacity when I did finally get a room they charged me 400 extra dollars and I still was unsatisfied

Special people @ Bel Air make for memorable magic in the sun! Thanks to Arturo, Martin & Cesar for looking after my special needs... No worries! Martin's pool aerobics & zumba classes are great fun and Reyna, in the spa will melt all your worries away! Can't wait to come back! Home away from home!

Facility was old, rooms were outdated......iguanas were on site.......Staff was pleasant, good view, other than that it was a less than desirable experience. There was construction going on and the front was muddy. Not a place to go if you are looking for a retreat........food was fair, NOTHING to write home about. Spent 5 days at a resort down the road and the last 5 days were spent at Bel Air......I should have returned home after the first day at this resort. Might be good for someone but n... Read more

I began coming here when they first open. It has slowly went down hill. The grounds are immaculate but the are not spending any money on the rooms. Don't think I'll be coming back, which makes me sad.

We stayed in a rental condo which was part of the Bel Air property - you need to get that via AirBnB. With a condo, you have the great view from your own 'apartment, while you are still part of the resort. If you prefer a more classic hotel room approach, go directly to their website. The do have kitchenettes. The grounds were pretty and well-maintained, and my adult daughter (who has traveled all her life) said she thought the pool was the best she'd ever been in. And it was so warm that ... Read more

There was construction going on and parking my car was hell. I like getting what I pay for and this time you cut me short on the service and the room I pay for, unfortunately some of the staff don't care much for Mexican people they only care for the American people provably thinking above the tips in dollars.

The resort itself was very beautiful. The pool was clean and they provided someone to lead dance and exercise in the pool. The drinks were decent, but nothing extraordinary. The pool and lounge area had gorgeous views of the beach, with easy access to and from it. Staff came off a little sarcastic and rude at times, but this may have just been my perspective. Other guests I was staying with had trouble trying to switch rooms and wasn't very happy with the service. Wi-Fi was also spotty and unre... Read more

When I made my reservation I paid for a Master Suite, but was put into a studio upon arrival. This was my second visit to this property. Maybe after the construction is completed I may consider returning. There was no improvement in the property amenities from 2104 to 2016.
