We stayed here for a night about 2 weeks ago. The room was charming and old fashioned with a beautiful, large bathroom. Unfortunately, when we stayed there the weather was quite cold, and the room had no heating, so we slept with sweaters on. The main problem was lack of electricity in the bathroom (so no hair dryer). And the water took about 5 minutes to run hot. The coffee machine was awkward to operate and even the maid could only get one socket (behind the bed) to work. Breakfast was in ... Read more

We spent three nights at the Hotel Casa de la Palma. Overall, it was great. Here are the plusses: Amazing location one block from the Zocolo in the center of the historic district. Building is chock full of charm and each room has high ceilings, old furniture and a unique theme (we were in the Marcel Marceau room). Staff was wonderful, breakfast good and filling. Downsides: internet was spotty in the room and the hot water also took some TLC to get to work properly. They also shoudl gi... Read more

We love this old, antique hotel. The people at the front desk are great. They treat our dogs great and the rooms are decorated with fabulous art, scuptures and furniture of character. The location is amazing only a block to one of the prettiest Historic Squares in all of Mexico. Their are many great restaurants within a couple of blocks and the best pizzeria is only a few doors down the street. It is called Almalfi and you wont be dissappointed if you go there. We are never let down here, it is ... Read more

This hotel is well located two blocks from El Zocalo town center. It is an old building that was a one point someone's large home. We were sold on it being "boutique" but old does not make a hotel boutique. The hotel room was large, we had a two bedroom with a large bathroom. There were a few things we did not like for example, their were a few items not working like the night stand lamp or the overhead or the shower. We complained and were able to get the lamp replaced and the shower head was s... Read more

They would not allow you to make reservations that comply with the credit card policies. They ask you to give them the security code together with all your information. This is just for making a reservation (not even for paying). Who knows if they write and keep the credit card information. Definitely not booking. Be careful with this malicious practices when traveling. I have previously stayed at this hotel but definitely not booking in advance. Such a bad experience.

Upon checking into the hotel we discovered that someone had urinated all over the toilet seat of the bathroom in our room. The housekeeper came to clean it up and told us that someone had come in from the street, past reception, all the way up to the guest rooms and gone into the room and used the bathroom after she had cleaned it that day. She then went on to tell us about how this happens often and that just the week before a very drunk man came in and did the same thing, but couldn't find a... Read more

Had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Casa de la Palma in the centro historico of Puebla. What a wonderful place full of history. The rooms are very large (there are only 16 of them) and the location one block from the cathedral is fantastic. Great views from the rooms with a balcony on a relatively quiet street. Breakfast was included in the courtyard. Highly recommended.

I stayed for two nights with 3 more people. The hotel is well located, just one block away from Main Square and Catedral. Rooms are big and clean. Price included eggs, fruit, juice and coffee as breakfast. My only complain is that the service in the front desk was kind of inconsistent. When we arrived, there were two guys attending but they were not really helpful or willing to help us with luggage. Another day, there was a lady who provided instructions and recommendations on what to do in Pueb... Read more

I stayed there 2 nights with my family. One of our rooms had roaches, so we were given another room rught away. The rooms are old not in an antique way. The best part of our stay was Ivette. She is very friendly, profesional and on top of everything. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are clean and locations is close to the zocalo.

I love this place. I pass through town once or twice a year, travelling with a well behaved, quiet dog, and am just now getting acquainted with Hotel Casa de la Palma. I'm so happy to have stayed here and this will now be my go-to spot. It is a beautiful, historic hotel that has a great vibe, and is comfortable and quiet. Our room was adorned with beautiful faux finishing on the walls and ceiling, antiquated-style art, a chandelier and a nice balcony looking to the street below. It is only ... Read more
