Things to consider based on our stay in February 2016: - room 12 is very spacious and has good natural light--2nd floor - shower takes several minutes literally to warm up, water pressure in the morning can be very low--literally dripping - wifi in room 12 so weak as to be unusable - room is reasonably clean and very charming Mexican decor - bed is hard (but my wife says I'm picky) -staff very friendly and helpful - paid about $110 USD per night for upstairs king suite

My husband and I booked here as a anniversary getaway for one night from our Cozumel vacation. This hotel is beautiful and gets a 10/10 rating for cleanliness. The wifi is sketchy but I find that everywhere in Mexico. We had a wonderful visit but no hot water!

First when we got Close to the hotel I was a bit worried. Same block as the club Coco Bongo :-). However, This is a very well built hotel that when you step through the door you come in to a quiet oasis. A very small inner garden where you can sit and relax with a coffe or tea (complimentary) welcomes you. you hear nothing of the hustle and bustle from the streets around. The hotel is very small and familiar, we had great advice from the staff also on what to visit around. Not far from the beach... Read more

20 out of 10! My husband and I found Aqualuna last minute due to an unexpected change in our travel plans (we were on honeymoon in Mexico and Cuba). We'd already stayed at other hotels in Mexico, all of which were great and pampered you senseless, but Aqualuna, from the get go, was all about the personal touch and going the extra mile with the little thoughtful things. We'd like to thank Joaquin at the front desk in particular. He went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was tailored to ou... Read more

We arrived at Aqualuna by bicycle taxi and were dropped off right at the door step and were welcomed with a smile. A surprise to find an open tranquil garden to keep you cool while it's sweatingly humid outside. Friendly staff ensured our stay was comfortable and our room was kept stunning at all times. Perfectly situated near central and everything was in close walking distance. Thank you Aqualuna!
