"it was a horrible experience that almost ruined my vacation. I could not stay more than one night. The room layout , the furniture were sooo out-dated but most disgusting was a bathroom. I have to take a shower outside at swimming pool that was only nice place in this resort. I would not recommend it to anyone and never come back even they offer me a free room. I have to admit that staff was nice and friendly and I just feel bad for them.

"The Real buffet was the same most nights. The food was leftovers and got boring on a daily basis (even for the kids.) They had a restaurant, but we could not book a reservation during our stay as it was completely booked each night. The room had no door on the master suite, so our privacy was compromised. Location was good and could use the beach side property for swimming. Would not stay again because the food was poor."

"I admit it, we booked with Real on the fly -- we just needed a place to stay the night in between Belize and our return flight to Charlotte, from Cancun. What we discovered, though, is that we'd booked with one of the nicest and finest hotels on the Riviera Maya. The staff was sweet and friendly, the room was impeccable, the grounds were gorgeous, and being right on the strip turned out to be a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back."

"yes, its a little old fashion compared to grand porto and the royal, some furniture does need to be replaced. but over all it really is 1 block away from all the best shops, restaurants, close to kool beach, mamitas, and all the best night clubs! the AMF festival for MDW 2011 was so much fun! the staff is simply amazing and very tentative to your needs, if you get the upgraded master all inclusive you get access to the grand porto which is simply amazing and where we spent all of our time. im coming back!!! "
