We made reservations for 5 adults and a toddler. Overall good price but everytime we had a complaint regarding the bathroom smelling bad, or the Wifi not working they had a lot of excuses and solved nothing. During the 4 days we were there the Wifi worked only for a couple hours. Breakfast was included and it was good. On the bright side they recommended tours but sadly ended up not meeting our expectations and were falsly advertised. It is nice and quiet. If you have to go to 5th avenue you'll ... Read more

Very friendly staff who was always willing to help and answer questions. Everything was always kept clean, and they had a large variety of food for their breakfast. Free wifi and the beds were comfortable. It's walking distance from the downtown Playa del Carmen, but also far enough away to not hear all the noise - nice and relaxing. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel. We noticed huge improvements since last year under the direction of the young, forward thinking, manager Daniel. The staff is mostly new to the hotel - Daniel keeping the best of the former staff. The motto seems to be " be proactive". Each morning during the very nice Buffett breakfast, Daniel or his assistant manager, goes to each table asking how is everything, anything you need is your room good. If there is an issue, the proper staff member is immed... Read more

Stayed one night on root to another location. Quiet, lovely setting. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet included in the price. It's a bit far from the beach but the pool and landscaping was great. Set on a golf course so most people seemed to be there for the golf. Air conditioning was great after a long day of touring ruins!

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in June 2016. We had booked the deluxe studio and upon arrival we were taken to our room, which however, although wonderful inside, it had small windows, no veranda, no views and was dark. We went to the reception to ask if it was possible to change the room. Daniel Mora, our receptionist was extremely helpful and transferred us to another room, with a veranda and view of the pool and the golf course, was twice the size and even had a jacuzzi!!! At no extra ch... Read more

A really beautiful hotel that we visited for 4 nights in April 2016. This was outside peak periods, so we were able to book one of the hotel's massive 'Royal' two-bedroom suites overlooking the pool for a good rate. The kids loved the balconies, pool and turtles by the lake, and we all enjoyed the very good buffet breakfasts with a large variety of food. The room was clean, very spacious, with good aircon, large, comfortable beds and loads of living spaces. However, it did feel a bit tired - ne... Read more

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. My husband and I have not seen each other in six months. I booked the suite requesting a king bed. When we got to the room there were two matrimonial beds which are like a double bed. I requested a king bed because my husband is a large size man. They could not provide us any room with a king bed as they said they were sold out so we could not even sleep in the same bed. But yet the resort looked empty. We went in the pool but realized it was very fil... Read more

The hotel is inside playacar which is a very well secure complex. 2 lots of security check points to through. It's a Nice place, decent pool with bat next to the pool. Only open currently 12-3. Had some trouble caused by booking.com and the description of room was not obvious. But the staff went to the next level to sort it out. Next to a golf course and even had random wildlife around.

This is a nice property that was probably initally envisioned as some sort of a country club. Now, it's a bit run down but still nice. It's quite big and nicely situated. The thing I liked the most is that there are a lot of tiny animals living on the property such as coatis, agoutis, birds, turtles,...It's really like some sort of a petting zoo. The staff are nice, too. The food is quite good. The area is generally nice but it's some 20 minute walk to the beach and downtown Playa. It's a nice w... Read more
