"we loved this place we actually liked it better than the fancy resorts we did get the. Premium rate and liked that we had 5resturants to eat from kook beach was cool and all u can drink. Our room overlooked the pool was big and nice. We would stay again. The reviews people leave for this hotel r not good and they deserve a 8 rating. It's like a jungle inside. This isn't a resort if your looking for10 star go somewhere else it's a hotel on 5th st right on all the action!"

" My reservation at El Tukan were for Standard All Inclusive. When I paid for 4 nights for Premium! At the reception desk I was asked to wait! My room was not all set. I was given the standard armband! I was told if I want to purchase the premium it would be extra? What a mess! Then for 2 days I had cold showers, the hot and cold water plumbing was reversed, how was I to know that? Then when I went to Proto Real, The security guard would not let me past the entrance! On day 3 My air conditioner was turned off to fix another rooms system! Not a good experience. Would definitely 'NEVER' go again. Also, no phones in the rooms, no hairdryers, and they don't have face clothes. And I even talked to a representative, requesting a room close to the Beach . IfI had of lnown I would have booked some where's else. I came to relax after a bad year and some surgeries. No what it was supposed to be. Dissatisfied."

"A total rip off. One buffet resturant, that was no better than army chow.No air in the eating area. Had to pay an additional 180.00 dollars for 4 days of decent food at the on grounds resturant. 8 lounge chairs at pool. The beach was a mile away. Had no HOT WATER in room for 1&1/2 days. one idoit told me to let it run for 15 minutes. would not give us another room. Went for lunch 100ft. away,because we could not eat by pool, and some idiot took our towls and beach bag and kindle books and put on the deck. The so called security took everything. The rep. for best day transportation left us 3 notes with a time to meet her. 3 times we went to meet her she was not there. On the last night we went to another property to see someone fron Best Day and finally found out what time we were to be pick up to go to air port. Another 1 mile walk."
