By far this hotel achieve the expectations for the brand. They are innovative in ideas and service. Great location, the neighborhood is safe and chic with lots of dinning options. The staff is very professional and helpful.

Main problems, the very hard bed - which I usually do not mind, this one was too hard - and the older air conditioning system, which kept turning on and off throughout the night. The hotel is showing its age, but other than that pretty decent business Intercontinental facing the Auditorio and in the upscale Polanco neighborhood. Decent free wifi, slow on surfing. Cool view. Loved the thick wooden bathroom door, but not the bathroom split in two design, with the larger part in the room. Compared ... Read more

Very comfortable room. Great view. Service was top notch. Prime location with many restaurants around the vicinity. This is also the hotel of choice for many foreign dignitaries as I saw a plaque listing presidents, prime ministers and other prominent ministers from other countries staying in this hotel. I guess that means something. It's not cheap but if you have the budget, this should do it.

Maybe it's not the cheapest hotel in the Polanco Area, but this hotel is my favorite when visiting Mexico City. Why? You have all you need in one place or a walking distance: sports bars, restaurantes, 7eleven, etc. For business (solo) or family trips I think you should consider this option. Remember the hotel is near the Chapultepec's Castle, the Zoo, Antara's Mall, Soumaya's Museum, the Aquarium, etc. The service on the executive floor is just amazing! 24/7 service, coffee, snacks, etc. Go, vi... I have been there several times and I have not had major issues. The bed was hard in one of those trips, but I asked for a pillow top, and they were able to install it ASAP. Great service. It is walking distance to other eating locations if you don't feel like eating fancy food at the hotel. There is a farmers market close by on Saturdays. Lots of yummy food and interesting things to buy.

Its a very good hotel that honors the international chain's name. If you might keep coming back, get your loyalty number. Breakfast is ok but breakfast room is too small. It is hard to walk with your food/juice with so many people, suitcases around. Actually, this part is not worthy of the hotel

The hotel went under serious renovation. Rooms are nicely fitted with contemporary furniture (besides the desk which is still from before!!!). Breakfast is pleasant. It would be great to add a pool and redo the lobby. Besides this, you'll love your stay in this hotel.

This beautiful and modern hotel is located in the beautiful Polanco neighborhood. The friendly staff (and their effort to help us in English when we needed it!) did not go unnoticed. The beds were extremely firm for our liking but we liked everything else about this hotel, including access to their club level top floor (we paid extra for this) but included a gorgeous panoramic view of the city to enjoy while lounging, or eating the included breakfast, or a late afternoon snack. This is an impeccably clean hotel with great food on premises. Although we were in town for a wedding, we especially enjoyed room service (both breakfast and dinner), a special dinner at the in-house restaurants El Chapulin, and breakfast at Cafe Urbano. Erika at El Chapulin stayed overtime to find us a Mexican wine in our price range to accompany our wonderful meal -- It was delicious! We had a 28th floor room overlooking the city, and it was interesting to watch from the window both the city... Read more

The staff are very good - there is a large range of food and free drinks from 17:30- 20:00 which is worth indulging on and the view is just amazing . There are a few minor details we coul... The hotel is spectacular and staff is very nice. We had forgotten to book the airport pick up and had someone call us early that morning and schedule he pick up with no fuss. We had a friend join us at the last minute and the staff was nice enough to change our room from a king to two double. They helped tremendously with recommendations and coordination of transportation. The room was spotless and very clean.

Staying at this hotel is the worst mistake I've ever made when it comes to overpaying to fancy up the trip a little bit. I didn't notice much to be wrong at first, they seemed to have kept that Ol'School attitude that says: If we can do it consider it done, we'll strech for you to feel loose. For me it can be fun only if done every few years which means I only get a few of these in my life and these people really trashed the first half my trip. Sites in the safe district of Polanca, the hotel is comfortable and has good facilities (gym, spa, barber, bar and several restaurants. There are also some nice local restaurants opposite the front door and along Campos Elisios. It wss nice to be within walking distance of my office, although some may find walking harder work than expected due to the high altitude/thinner air and the pollution.

Since it is a luxurious hotel, its rates keep going up so I felt safe that the amount of points needed remained the same despite its fluctuating rates. If you are looking for and intimate experience, this hotel is not for you. This hotel is massive. It is so large; it makes you feel small?insignificant. As such, you feel like more like a number than a guest. The rooms, you guessed it, are large. They are comfortable, but not attractive. The localization of this hotel is excellent; in the best neighborhood in Mexico City. Was this review helpful? Please let me know by clicking on the button below. Thanks!

Last time here was nearly two years ago. This hotel just gets better and this time around, in town for business, I stayed that the Club Level which is even nicer. The rooms are similar to the ones in other floors, very nice, clean, modern and spacious. The highlight is the lounge that offers an amazing breakfast and a nice happy hour, just footsteps from your room. The lounge is also a great place for quick business meetings.

This hotel is indeed beautiful. The views from the room are amazing. But for a 5 star hotel I expect much more than that. We ordered a king size room bed which ended up being a twin bed room and the beds weren't even standing next to each other.
