Good hotel with optimal location, both for tourism and business; in fact it is walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. Room are comfortable and service is god; all the staff is kind. Price are reasonable if compared to other hotels in the same locations.

Plus side, very clean, good area. The room was on the small side but attractive. Very nice bath. I felt we were in a business hotel.. Not much to,offer in way of suggestions on where to dine, etc. Did not have a map of area.

Nice breakfast. Good location and just walking distance in pedestrian from many others nice places. But honestly, there are not enough intenational channels with english language, so i just can watching the sport channel.

Location for this hotel is great, I stay for business, but sure after work you can walk to Bellas Artes, Zocalo, have a great dinner near there, visit Monumento a la Revolución, walk to eat Tacos, and I am talking no more than a couple of miles to do all this. And if you want more, walk to the Touribus stop, next to the catedral and you can see the hole downtown in a couple of hours.

Pros: huge room, great location, bathroom was very nice. Cons: mini bar was locked, lights were awkward, no view from room.... also the hallway structure is strange. However, for the price, this hotel is a great option for exploring downtown Mexico City.

We particularly liked the breakfast till 11am and the regular check-out at 1pm, which are very relaxing to guests travelling for leisure. These extended times are a plus compared to the standard hotel market practices.

Boutique style in a great part of town. Very comfortable and great living wall in reception area. All the staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much and they have fabulous meal suggestions. Any trips book through them....reliable and cheaper! Perfect location in the historic district. Breakfast very good and you can ask for hot options.

After 8 hours trip, tt my arrival I used the toilet in my room and toilet didn't drain, was disgusting and embarassing. Next day; I palned to assit at 8:00 PM to Javier Camarena concert (the best Tenor in the World). I planed to have a nap in the afternoon so I retourned to the hotel pass 4:30 PM and my room was not made. I was upset. That situation delay my plans, I took a taxi and once I arrive to the Palacio de Bellas Artes I relaised that I didn't my ticket with me. I don't balme the hotel ... Read more

I've stayed here a few times and highly recommend it as a very clean and comfortable place to stay. If you want to be in downtown Mexico City, it's perfect. They also have free WiFi and a wonderful breakfast spread that is included. Staff could be a little more friendly and helpful.

Modern, yet inexpensive. Full breakfast featuring lots of local cuisine. The only issue is that the block is extremely backed up with traffic during the weekend. It can take as long as 15 minutes to leave the block, which makes it hard to drive or grab an Uber. Other than that, it's perfect.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and organized. Very well managed. Very clean. Quiet. Would definitely go back. Also an incredible location. So much always happening in this area that I felt very safe going out- day or night.

The hotel location is perfect! Very close to the Zócalo, but without its "tumult", nice rooms and facilities and even a Nespresso in the room. I am particularly thankful to Paola and Dagoberto who made our stay wonderful.

Very central and with a great location, the hotel presents several positive features. The room is large and comfortable, the lobby is a perfect place for business meetings, the staff is professional and friendly and the breakfast is very complete. The breakfast can even be taken in the varanda. Great experience!

Compared to the NH Reforma a few miles away this hotel is terrible. Mostly though the service is poor and repeated requests for someone to fix the thermostat went ignored for our stay. Front counter just couldn't care less after being asked 5 times. The hotel is run down, very moldy/humid and has no windows that open. Stay elsewhere!

We have stayed in this hotel 2 times during our trip: at first, once we arrived in Mexico and than once we were about to fly back to Europe. For the first time our stay was good. The level of service, the range of services provided, the room, the breakfast - simply great. However upon our return at late night it seemed that the hotel couldn't give us a bedroom with 2 separate beds. They didn't receive our request though booking.com and had to do some quick last minute arrangements to accommodate... Read more

We stayed at the NH centro for five nights, great location!!! Reasonable size and clean rooms, good breakfast. Free wifi! Would recommend! Friendly staff. There was coffee in the room, but chargeable which was disappointing. We were upgraded after our first stay where there was no charge.

This is a very nice and reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast buffet was awesome - great variety and really friendly staff. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, but there were no windows at all so it was very dark and felt a bit claustrophobic. The staff were helpful, friendly and prompt, and the location was excellent with a couple of restaurants next door and a 4 minute walk to the Zoccalo (main plaza). I definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is well located and rooms are okay but there are really little details that make the experience of staying in this hotel a bad one. The room smelled badly when we arrive and the bathtub is unsuitable for people over 25 - it is necessary to climb a step to get in and it is very narrow - I fell when I got in. The staff is not very friendly and does the minimum when welcoming you. The maid every morning comes and knocks on your door at 8:00 and enters no matter what. But the worse the r... Read more

Fabric roof made it very hot on a nice day. Service was a little surly. Bread was stale. Butter was rancid. Chicken in mole was cold and undercooked. I just had to do a review- first one for a restaurant. Tip- go to Hotel Zocalo Central for wonderful food.

spent a week at this centrally located hotel in the center of the historic district and was well satisfied. Accommodations are clean, beds are comfortable, showers work well and its a relatively attractive place. The breakfast spread is wonderful. the best I have ever experienced. There is a small gym. My only regret is that there is no sense of Mexico here. Colors are muted. Very few pictures. That said.... I would and do recommend this hotel.

We received an invitation to visit Mexico City with very good friends who had lived there. They were returning after a nine year absence. Their recommendation was the NH Centro Histórico. We were arriving 3 days before them and would be exploring on our own so the location was perfect-minutes away walking from the Zócalo, the Palacio National, the Catedral, great food and shopping. The NH Mexico City Centro Historico is located one block away from Zocalo. It is walking distance of most of the Centro Historico attractions. It is far enough away from all of the noise. The rooms are of a pretty decent standard. The bed was a little bit too hard for my liking. The rooms are a decent size. The free breakfast is pretty standard chain hotel. Nothing too exciting, though enough food to keep you going for a good few hours. The free wifi is a bonus. It is not the fastest, though... Read more

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, i found the bathtub/shower difficult to use because of the awkward position and depth to get in and out of the tub. Not good for elderly or those with mobility problems. Breakfast buffett was ok, nothing to write home about. Better to go out to any of the other restaurants, i.e. VIPS, Sanborns or Bisquets. As a solo traveler for the first time, I was quite tensed visiting Mexico City but this hotel made all the difference. It is centrally located from major attractions in the Zocalo area, waking distance to all major restaurants as well as the local/traditional favorites.
