I found it on Hotel Tonight app. I was 21 when I went to Mexico City in April 2016 and it was my first vacation alone. I wasn't my first time in a hotel but this hotel did everything right and set the standard for my entire life what a good hotel should be. Every member of the staff I came in contact with was 100%. The bed was BIG and comfortable, the shower was excellent. I will always recommend this hotel to anyone. I am going back to Mexico City in June 2016, I'm going on a small budget so I ... Read more

Spent 4 nights here. First the good things: -At checkin I was upgraded to a larger room away from some noise due to street construction. It was very nice that they did this without my even asking. -Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food choices. -Room was new, clean, comfortable and quiet -Staff were friendly and accommodating. Nothing was bad, just some mildly annoying things: -room decor reminded me of a Sheraton 4 Points. Everything was new and clean, it just didn't feel like a... Read more

My review is based on 2 recent stays -- first in the fall 2015 and early summer 2016 with a total of 9 days spent at the Marquis Reforma. The first visit was me piggybacking my wife's business trip and the Marquis Reforma was not our original hotel. Our first hotel was in the Zona Rosa district which was surrounded by nightclubs and wow!, can the locals party, until 5AM. The very next morning, we checked out and picked the Marquis based on its close proximity to my wife's office. The front desk... Read more

I spent recently 4 nights for business reasons in this nice hotel. Good and central location. The friendly and proactive service team is doing a good job. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. I had a very quiet room to the inner part of the hotel. Only downside is no view. All restaurants and bars provide excellent quality food and drinks.

Having continually visited this property over the last 15 years, I continue to be amazed as to the quality of service. Having a staff that has remained at this hotel for years tells a lot about this property. The hotel driver and cars are all very professional and it is worth double the normal taxi fare. With quiet rooms and elegant appointments, this hotel is a wonderful location for business or leisure trips.

I highly recommend Marquis Spa. Every aspect offers high level service once you enter the lobby. Customer service, facilities, massage & treatment options and the locker rooms. Most importantly is the experience as a customer, which feels like it's your own private venue. 5 star quality and definitely the best option in the city.

Great Location, nice hotel rooms... Attention to guests could improve, compared to other Mexican hotels. Especially over the phone, when looking for venues for an informal meeting with other couples...

My wife and I went for a weekend retreat. We tried the spa and each of the restaurants and bars. Service was nothing short of amazing. From the GM (thank you Angie for all your help) to the doorman, everyone we encountered introduced themselves to us and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff is incredible. The restaurant choices were fantastic. The Sunday brunch is a not to be missed meal, given the chance. We had a suite with a terrace (which I highly recommend) that afforded ... Read more

Location is superb, hotel premises wonderful and with a peaceful atmosphere. Rooms a bit dark, however very well equipped with rock solid quality. Restaurant excellent with buffet or a la carte. Business or pleasure, should be good for both.

great hotel - located near the most iconic round-about in Mexico City.. The hotel staff are always attentive to your needs. The hotel restaurant had great food and service The rooms were layed out and designed in a very spacious manner that fit my needs (since I was carrying brochures, and expo/conference related material that I had to sort out in the room)

Warm staff, surprisingly ample space for conferences, many services and amenities, and modern & elegant, yet homey accommodations. I personally prefer self-service parking, which is not available (only very few hotels in Mexico City offer this).

We came to Mexico City for a wedding. The couple recommended this hotel and the nearby St. Regis. This was significantly less expensive than the St. Regis. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and helped us get an early check-in after our red-eye flight. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good family run property. The only slight embarrassing point worth making is that at check-in (all be it very early in the morning) the front desk didn't have a record of us on a special reservation as agents. At breakfast I was asked to pay for breakfast saying it wasn't included. Maybe there could have been a bit more communication from whoever booked the room with the front desk?

It was a great stay. Met most of our expectations. Outstanding location. Very Freindly Staff. Good Food. The only thing we did not like is that it was hard to get Ice in our room and Room Service was average. Other than that it is a great Hotel for the Price.

The Marquis Reforma Hotel was an excellent choice for my 4 day trip to Mexico City. The Museum of Antropology is in walking distance as well as the Chaputepec Castle. The Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue was the Taxi or Limousine service provided by the Hotel was 5 times as expensive as a regular Taxi.

Room was great! We enjoyed it; comfortable bed and amenities. The staff was amazing and friendly. Lounge/bar staff were very personable and helpful as well. The only thing we didn't "love" was that my friend's sister and her friend, who were also visiting but staying at another hotel, were not allowed to enter our room to wait while we got ready or to hang out. Hotel policy. I can understand why, but it was a slight inconvenience to have them wait for us. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again,... Read more

After a very bumpy flight from Lima, we checked in to this hotel. We asked if it was possible to have a massage as we were both tired and quite sore after the flight. They booked us in for a special massage in their Spa area right away and it was excellent. I highly recommend this. There are seperate spa areas for ladies and gents and although not overly big, they had character, too pools, saunas, steam rooms, showers etc and were totally wonderful and clean. Also not too busy and there was a la... Read more

I only had the chance to try the Spa at this hotel as I was staying in another one provided by my company. Ms. Gloria Robles, who was the Spa Therapist who did my treatment was great. The Spa is gorgeous and very quiet. Love the fact you can have lunch in the spa and they provide also with teas, orange juice, water,etc... Very attentive stuff and reasonable pricing. The hotel is very beautiful! I will definitely come back to the spa next time I am in Mexico City.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel! The beds are comfortable, the towels thick and cozy robe and slippers provided. The bathroom is large and the room good-sized. There is a big closet and room for a small desk and 2 chairs. The bilingual staff is so warm and helpful and the service excellent. Check in and out was a breeze. The location was great and the restaurant has great food and friendly servers. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Mexico City.
