It is one of the worst Hilton services that I have experienced. We were traveling in a group and I believe that the hotel practices separate standards for groups vs one checking in individually as HHonors member (My husband who is traveling with me is an active member). It started with the group arriving late due to flight delay. We were welcomed with 2 tiny (about 300ml) bottles of drinking water in the room. We asked for more water but was told that we will be charged accordingly. There are... Read more

The hotel is in a great location (within walking distance to the Zocalo and the Bellas Artes building) and is close to many restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has a number of restaurants (including the El Cardenal). The service was spectacular (bellman remembered my name). The room was very comfortable and came with an incredible view.

I usually stay in one of the higher end hotels while in Mexico City but decided to try the Hilton this time. I am so glad I did since it is in a great location with shops, restaurants and transportation all nearby and a nice park right across the street. The property is a huge but the service is personal just like the Hiltons are all known for. There is a selection of restaurants in the hotel and the food is only outdone by the service. My wife had a conference in Mexico city, so we decided to go ahead of the group to have some time to explore the city. We decided to stay at the Hilton which is right at the historic area. When we arrived the bell hop Miguel immediately got our bags and followed us to the check in counter at the club floor. After we checked in he showed up to our rooms and was gracious enough to ask if we needed anything to just give him a call. Since we arrived quite late in the afternoon we decided to grab a... Great bed, great location, great amenities. Got a 60 minute massage, sat in the steam room and jacuzzi. Nice way to relax after traveling. I bypassed the restaurants and indulged on street food (plenty around). Smoking section was closed at the time of my visit, so the only spot to enjoy a cigar was out front on a park bench. Great people watching, beggars galore, but all friendly. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Good food and beverages for breakfast and happy hour. Definitely try the cappuccino! Language is not a problem, everyone speaks great english and they will work with our poor Spanish! Location is super convenient to restaurants, and the metro if your adventuresome like we are. Would definitely stay again on our next visit.

I did a lot of online research in advance of my family of four's weeklong vacation in Mexico City. I chose the Hilton Reforma based on its location and the value it offered. Our two-bed Junior Suite was bigger than expected. Our teenage son slept on a rollaway bed in what amounted to a second room. The bathroom was large and modern, the view of Alameda Park and the Palace of Fine Arts from our 19th-floor room was spectacular, and the in-room amenities were great. We got back yesterday after a long weekend in Mexico City. The hotel was fantastic and I recommend it completely. Just to give some context, I am not necessarily a fan of the big hotel, 5 star or not, but the Hilton Reforma pulls it off. You enter through a gorgeous lobby. The check in was fast and polite. I stayed in this hotel during the presentation of my new detective story and I say you honestly that it inspired me a lot to write a new thriller! It was a noisy room with a terrible view out from the 14th floor to the small street (see photo). OK, I closed the curtain to not look outside :-) The first 'Cleaning lady' came 5 min after my arrival. I was enjoying the bath after long-time flight and did not answer to the knocking to my door... The hotel has a great location, but there are some problems: the refrigerator does not cools enough and is filled with alcohol and other stuff that are inconvenient for families with children. The room clean up was great the first day, and the remaining four days was very sloppy. Everyday we had to call to have our room done when came back in the late afternoon. As someone who travel's for a living, I can be very critical of hotels and their services. We went to Mexico City following the 6hours endurance car race and had an overall good experience with our hotel (Hilton @ Reforma). The staff was cordial, and the amenities in good shape, our room had a fantastic view. Our visit was at the time events were going on for Juan Gabriel's passing so the street (Av. Juarez) was always crowded which aimed for long strolls and restaurants around were also delicious.

Spent a week at the Hilton Reforma on business and found it completely satisfactory. The room was comfortable, breakfast was very good (great fresh fruit bar), and the wifi worked well (I did have to constantly reload, even though that took only a few seconds).
