I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, for business. I found the accommodations simple yet sufficient. I slept well, perhaps amazing well despite proximity to the freeway. The breakfast buffet was good and nourishing. My use of Spanish is poor but the staff didn't seem to mind my inartful attempts at communication; their front desk was always manned by someone that spoke English, which I obviously needed. The only real drawback to this hotel is that it doesn't seem to be near anything. Perhaps if ... Read more

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is excellent and the service is personal and wonderful (special thanks to Antonio). The front desk is well-staffed and it appears that they all speak excellent English. The cleaning staff is polite and unobtrusive. As with other reviews, I have to comment that the location is a bit inconvenient for access to city attractions, but there is a very large shopping mall that is within the same city block.

The room was very small; the hardwood floor was not well installed because it moved every time we w... Read more

Very disrespectful and rude that cleaning personnel knocks at your door in the morning and asks if you need anything. Supervisors please instruct your personnel not to do that. Otherwise the hotel is a nice option to stay, good and convenient facilities as you would expect from a business class chain hotel.

At first the stay was enjoyable, rooms are large and well furnished , unfortunately one of the few hotels I have stayed where there is no fridge. The second half of our stay the hotel hosted children that were involved in a soccer tournament, Mexico Aztec stadium is close, we were disturbed throughout the night by these young people. If staying here enquired about football tournaments if there is stay away. There is a large mall close by. Still in shock 36 hours later.

Ok hotel, modern no luxury no frills room, just the basic, My room was big and had a view to Estadio Azteca, the personal was very warm and helpful, the food at the restaurant was good, there are not many places on walking distance and it doesn't look like a very safe neighborhood.

This is a good hotel in the southern part of Mexico City near Six Flags and the UNAM. The rooms are standard hotel rooms, comfortable and clean. I would not say that it is a luxury hotel. The shower drain was a bit stopped up. We chose this hotel because it advertised a pool. The indoor pool was very very small and in a room that smelled musty like a locker room. There was also a spa that was not very inviting and looked as if the water was stagnant, so we chose to forgo swimming. The hote... Read more

I visited the hotel during a business trip in Mexico City. The service is very good and everybody from the staff is willing to help from the first moment you arrive at the reception. I had a simple room which was quite big compared to other hotels, it had a safe, some bottles of water for free but no minibar. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable but the room is not soundproof. The first 2 nights I hardly slept because of a baby crying in the next room. The breakfast buffet had a lot of ... After two intense days it was the perfect place for drinks and food in the "tu casa es mi casa" style Mexicans are famous for. Mezcal with sal de gusano to begin with and solid carnitas completed a wonderful evening. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

All required amenities for a business hotel, with a small desk table, a good chair, with surprisingly good WiFi signal. I liked the not so firm king bed and very soft pillows. There is a small shopping mall (Gran Sur) nearby with better options for breakfast and dinner which I prefer, instead of the plain food at the hotel restaurant.

Fiesta Inn Periferico Sur is a great place to spend a night in Mexico City if you're looking for an easy, full-service stay. The hotel itself is modern and well-kept up. Both rooms themselves and the common areas are very spacious, and the restaurant/bar, though by all appearances aimed at the tourist crowd, offer reasonably priced, better than average fare. My only disappointment was that neither the pool nor hot tub were heated the evening I was there.
