The location of the hotel was great for my needs and the amenities provided were more than adequate. I enjoyed my experience in Merida and enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel provides a number of food options and there are also restaurants within walking distance. Another nice thing was that the hotel had a shopping plaza on its ground level floor which was great.

Wonderful hotel and the staff was excellent. Great amenities, and room service was prompt. The only challenge was finding the hotel lobby. If you are driving your own car, you have to know that the hotel sits above a retail mall. You park the car in the ramp or have valet do it, from there everything is great.

My wife and I spent a few days in Merida and stayed at this hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and the location great. There are a lot of great restaurants close to the hotel. If you are looking for a nice hotel this may be the one for you.l

This hotel is almost first class...It perhaps needs a refit of the rooms to put in better electronics of lighting and bathroom . There was no central light switch . Our electricity failed one night ...the A/C stopped ...They fixed it , but it failed again. No major hassle , but shows they need a refit. Beds very comfy...Concierge knows everything , so that helped. Restaurants excellent. Pool and Jacuzzi well maintained. Big fluffy towels at the pool. NIce touches.

The hotel is very nice with a mexican traditional atmosphere and its located inside a small mall and just one block from the Paseo Montejo. Service and rooms were great. Try to choose high floor despite Merida is a city with few high buildings it will let you have a view from the city. Food was pretty good. If you have fiesta rewards you will have access to special floor where you can have breakfast and at evening some drinks and snacks. Almost forgetting that bed was just great.

My wife and I spent five wonderful days in Merida this June 2016. Loved it and can't wait to go back. The Hotel was beautiful, courteous staff and delicious food. The weather was a little to hot but we were told it would be in June. Next trip will likely be in their cooler months of Oct-Feb. Nevertheless, the people were friendly and willing to help you whenever you asked. Felt extremely safe the entire time. Visited Progeso port, Chichen Itza, Mayan World Museum and their modern mall. A clean and efficient hotel near the center of Merida. Well placed to visit the tourist attractions in the area. The air conditioned rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our rooms were on the fifth floor so we had access to the Fiesta Club lounge for light meals and snacks.

Friendly hotel staff with excellent service and facilities in the central location. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful and helped us with transportation in Merida. The porter spoke English and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

It was a lovely place, great and friendly staff. However during our 6 night stay, our air conditioning and lights stopped working. They moved us to another room, and didn't even offer a cup of coffee for this inconvenience. Having to pack, unpack again mid vacation wasn't fun. No upgrade, not even an apology for the inconvenience. I thought this was wrong. If it weren't for that, it would have been a perfect place.

First the not so good: Upon check-in I was informed that I had three reservations ( I only made one ) and that I would have to pay for one night each on the other two reservations because I did not cancel them before my arrival. How could I cancel something I never made? You be the judge.... The rooms are equipped with a motion sensor to turn the air conditioner off when the room is unoccupied. My sensor apparently did not work and the air conditioner would go off while I was in the room and... Read more

Fiesta America is a very nice hotel. On arrival we thought unsure about staying as the first impression you get is that this hotel needs a renovation. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our staying and would happily come back. Our room was very spacious and had a comfy bed. The AC was brand new and the flat screen too. The staff has been very helpful and positive when we approached them which makes a big difference. The only thing to improve I would say is the wifi which did not work at all.

Large, well maintained hotel in central Merida, close to the historic district and Paseo de Montejo which is a nice street to visit. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the buffet breakfast which has a large variety of offerings (including several made to order options) is worth the cost to fill up for a busy day. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt welcome. We thought the room price was excellent considering the the quality of the hotel and service.

This is an outstanding hotel. The staff is first class, the building is beautiful, and the food in the restaurants is delicious. Rooms and public areas are very clean! I always stay at the Fiesta when in Merida.

After driving from the Cancun Airport after a 6-hour flight, this hotel was the perfect spot for 2 nights. We were exhausted and arrived at check-in time only to be escorted to a lovely, huge, spotless room with every amenity available after hours of travel. Parking was free and Wi-fi was fast! We ordered room service and drinks to our room, relaxed, and then ventured out into Merida's historic center, which was a 15-20 minute walk. It is an a very safe location and as you walk toward the ce... Read more

Quick check in and check out. Professional, quick and friendly service throughout from the moment you get to the hotel to the moment you leave. The only complaint: the food at the buffet on Sunday was totally spicy hot. Some choices for "gringos" would be welcome. Yes, I would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel 4 nights with my 2 daughters (10 & 13) and my wife. The rooms aren´t bad, but small. The rest of the hotel is old. The service is not bad, but I "lost" my favourites ALDO sandals in my room and nothing happened after I reported. Somebody from the hotel staff took it, I never make this kind of statements without being sure. Those sandals never saw any street; were used always and only in rooms after I took my shoes off. Avoid FIESTA AMERICANA Merida. There are many hotel... Read more

Nice , clean with great service. Bottled water is very expensive at this hotel so I suggest you buy at a Oxxo. The buffet breakfast is also expensive but has a great choice. If your room is at the back where the swimming pool is, it gets noisy in the morning just before 7am due to the tennis players screaming while playing..... Overall a nice place to stay and with a Walmart walking across so you can get whatever you need for your day or for your room for snacks... FYI do not purchase anything f... Read more
