I have stayed at this resort about 7 times now, I own a timeshare. We love coming back here every year. The people are very friendly and we love Rosie the lady at the coffee bar in the lobby. The beds are a little hard just not what I'm used to back in Canada. My only complaint would be that they have groups of adult students that come and stay for 3-4 days and they are horrible. I'm not sure how many of them maybe 100 people or more but they are rude, very noisy and disruptive. Slamming d... Read more

I have only one complaint, the beds are FIRM and if we go back I am going to Walmart and purchasing a foam pad. The hotel is older but clean and comfortable. The room has a decent size refrigerator and a coffee pot. The food was very reasonable in price and taste good. There are several good restaurants nearby. The beach is on the backside of the hotel and is very nice to walk. Pool was good too. Staff was excellent! Coffee at the coffee bar was delicious. Mazatlan was much cheaper than ot... Read more

We decided to travel to mazatlan Mexico for a weekend family Vacation. This Hotel is not bad for the price, the room was in good condition and clean. It has a pool with a bar and a larger pool with an owsom ocean view. It has access to the beach from the pool area. The pool area has a bar & restaurant, we didn't like the food, they could do a better job at the restaurant,, the service was good, servers were friendly. Overall we had a good stay.

Booked this hotel based off the great reviews. I wish I had paid closer attention the negative ones. Room is decent. Bed is small, hard and uncomfortable but I was able to overlook it. Had a balcony room on the 5th Fl. with a great view of the ocean. The staff is just okay. Some are nice and some seem miserable to be at work. The pool is nice but water is freezing. In order to get a drink you have to chase and flag down a waiter. On multiple occasions my husband asked for a bucket of beer, he wa... Read more

For the money, this hotel is an excellent deal. The Hotel has a good location in the Zona Dorado. The rooms are big, real big, and very clean. The staff is very friendly and quite helpful. I rented 5 rooms for my group and nobody had any complaints. The only drawback is the small beach area, but we were there during the week and had no problem getting a palapa.

I visited for 5 days in late May, early June. Most everything is great at The Palms. Stayed mid-week to avoid the weekend crowds which is kind of the way I always do it now. Very quiet, no groups staying at the hotel which sometimes they can have because they have some convention rooms that can accommodate larger groups. Staff is excellent and very nice, everybody. Beds are hard, that is the main thing I'd like to see improved and their workout room is very small and has a few outdated bikes and... Read more

Needed a stopover on drive from the US to Central Mexico--what a treat to find this lovely hotel/resort. We arrived much earlier than check-in, but the staff was so efficient that our luggage was stored, the truck parked and we were sipping margaritas and enjoying guacamole within minutes. Once we checked into our spacious room, we were off to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool. The sunset was amazing and we were happy to be able to enjoy dinner poolside in our beach wear. The food was amazing... Read more

I have gone to this place for number of years... and each year got worst. Old, dirty, noisy and no consideration from management. Free Wi Fi not working in rooms or in the lobby, very very weak! Price is cheap but "you get what you pay for"
