We have been owners at PB Mazatlán since the early '90's. It is, by far, our favorite resort to stay in Mazatlán. The resort hotel staff is excellent, always offering superb service, often above and beyond our expectations. The service starts at the front door, with the staff greeting us like family; Patti, a front desk supervisor, has been a standout staff member for many years; Ramona in housekeeping continues the family feeling of the resort hotel with her warm arrival greetings and exce... I have been coming to Pueblo Bonito for about fifteen years and have always loved it. It is truly a wonderful property; the grounds and pool are outstanding and the beach is beyond compare. Activity staff Cindy is a pleasure and makes the days enjoyable. Patty at the front desk is wonderful and works hard to ensure our room meets our needs. Oscar, Juan, and Antonio work hard everyday to ensure our every needs are filled. Since Pueblo Bonito began pushing the All Inclusive (AI) option, the q... Read more

Small older resort but has class, right on the ocean. Perfect place to relax, enjoy the ocean and nature. Friendly beach. Loved enjoying the sunset every night!! Just watch out for the street marketers! :-)

This resort was wonderful! Our room, 333, was huge! Our balcony was large enough for a party of 30 or more. The full-view of the ocean and beautiful beach were amazing! The separate bedroom was also large and we had 2 bathrooms and 2 closets plus an adequately supplied kitchenette. We knew the property was 30 years old but this contributed to the old world charm. Much of the hand carved wooden furniture was authentic to Old Mexico and the painted stencils on the walls and bathroom fixtures... Read more

The place is huge with many rooms. If walking is a problem, you might want to make sure you're close to check in. There are elevators and employees to help you with your luggage. We were driving from San Miguel de Allende to cross the border in Nogales and stayed here two nights at the end of September, 2016 in Room 2020 which is a corner location with a view of the pool and the ocean. The rooms are large, beds were comfortable and clean, and the overall hotel is well maintained. We wer... Read more

We had visited PBM on several previous times to eat at their restaurants while we were staying at PM Emerald Bay. We were impressed what we saw so we thought to stay here for our first time. Check-in was a breeze and we were told that our executive suite would be located in the "newer" section of the resort. Once we were shown our room we had a beach front 1 bedroom suite with a really great view! However, the suite was smaller than a master suite at PB Emerald Bay, was at least 12 years old bas... We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay located about 45 minutes north of the airport or about 30 minutes north of Mazatlan. The best way to get there is booking the resort??s shuttle service for $29 round trip from the Airport. Taxi or any other form of transportation will likely be expensive. However, the shuttle service is convenient, on time, safe, and provides peace of mind. At the resort upon arrival, we were greeted with cocktail, beers, and friendly staffs. Weekends are busy at the front... Read more

... Prepare to be disappointed by PB Mazatlan. The food was good and the drink selection was fair but the rooms were pretty horrible. We travel yearly with a group of coworkers, we chose PBM based on great experiences at other PB properties and by recommendations on this site as well as Facebook. We were led to believe that the location was significantly better and the beach is nicer. The beach is nicer however the location didn't blow us away considering we still had to take a cab to get to pre... Read more

With all of the positive trip advisor remarks, over 1200, I was expecting a really nice room. Our room was quite disappointing. The furnishings were old and outdated. The smell was musty. Ants were crawling around in the kitchenette and bedroom. The housekeeping was just ok. I didn't put my clothes in the drawers because they didn't look clean. I moved the pillows in the bed which was actually ok and comfortable to find dead bugs squished against the ceramic head board. Gross! The location howe... Read more
