We had a wonderful vacation at PB. The resort is very clean with a very happy and friendly staff. Yes, you do have to "sign" for every meal, which was a small hassle, but a good reminder to tip the staff for their hard work. We had a 5th floor room directly overlooking the smaller pool which I felt had the best view ever (Room 5007) but all rooms had an ocean view. The people selling things on the beach were persistent, but a simple "No, gracias" was all that was needed for them to leave you a... Read more

Great location. The service staff is excellent and friendly. The hotel itself is in need of updating (some things not working). The beach is excellent there. We had great weather and met some interesting people.

The location is just perfect for me, not crowded, and the beach area was perfect. I could not buy better weather than the week I had stayed there between December 23rd and December 28th. OK, this is Mexico, and things are done a little differently here, but I have traveled to Mexico quite a bit, and the towel rules and $25 deposit are not new to me. The staff was great, the people very polite, the place is classic Mexican and a little dated, but the room and beds were just fine for me. Everythin... Read more

Loved the location, the hotel itself is due for updating, particularly the rooms. The service was excellent. Love the shuttle service between hotels, we spent a couple evenings at Emerald Bay for dinner. Everyone in Mazatlan is friendly!

We just returned from a 6-day stay at this resort. Overall this resort is trying to be world-class but is hampered by poor administration and policies. The resort is clean with well-maintained outdoor spaces and nice landscaping. It has a great beach and the palapa's make for a great experience (be sure to get one by 7:30 or they'll be gone). There are live, captive geese/flamingos on the property that are interesting until they start honking whenever spooked which happens a lot (don‚??t tr... Read more

This is our second trip to this delightful well tended resort beachside playground! Best features?!! Cooling breezes off the shore into the shaded poolside patios and terraced caba√Īa covered shore side Private dining club is exhibits epicurean excellence and if you might need a different larger scale ambiance there is a sister resort at Emerald Bay with comparable pools and dining which can be reached by a free company shuttle bus

Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan, once upon a time, was a premier property. It was sold as time shares, and over time those are being phased out so that it can become a hotel. The outside areas around the pool are being maintained nicely, but the apartments and suites have been allowed to fall into disrepair. Apparently once the time shares have all been phased out the rooms will be remodeled and refurbished, but for now they are still using the same old furnishings. The mattresses are so soft that wh... We stayed for two weeks, enjoying the pool and ocean. The outside is well manicured, pristine and lush with ponds and fountains. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Maid service was wonderful. We also had good breakfast buffets which offered fabulous selections of fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurts and hot entrees. What sets Pueblo Bonito apart from other places I have stayed is the staff. Employees are incredibly attentive, warm and friendly and excellent at doing their jobs.! I was mo... Read more
