We just arrived home from Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay, staying for 1 week in January doing all inclusive. This resort is truly beautiful, pictures posted on here don't do it justice. We already are wanting to go back there and can't wait to visit again. Property The property itself is massive and filled with lush greens and beautiful scenery, amost always able to see the ocean. They have 3 pools; the bistro pool  (no swim up bar but still has service), the infinity pool and the adult pool (both ... Read more

I love going to Mexico. The part I love most about it is the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay in Mazatlán where my family and I always vacation. This place is like a second home to me because I've been going here with my family ever since I've been 5 years old and I've always loved the experience. I met one of the men who work their, Javier when I was 5 and he's basically watched me grow up he always remembers my family and I when we come and it's very special. Especially the waiters taking your order... Read more

My wife and I visited Emerald Bay for 2 weeks in December of 2016. Emerald Bay was tastefully decorated with Christmas trees and poinsettias, which helped us feel like we were coming home for Christmas. Emerald Bay is a first class resort featuring clean, spacious rooms with exceptionally genuine, courteous, and conscientious staff members. All staff members are wonderful, but especially Dulce, Karla, Melissa, and Claudia. The daily breakfast buffet at La Cordeliere was delicious and evening... Read more

Beautiful location and grounds. Immaculately maintained. However, fails in exucation. Because the resort is so incredibly a long way to town a bus service is offered. Unfortunately, Been at the resort for two weeks. Not once was an evening bus schedule on time. There is only one bus and the schedule that is posted has never been meet in the evening hours. We had to either take a taxi back to the resort or wait a long time for the bus. It is virtually impossible for the bus to make the schedule.... Read more

The Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay has nice grounds. It is isolated so there are no vendors on the beach. There are a lot of rocks on the beach. The beach is good for walking but not for swimming. There were only very few beach lounge chairs on the beach, and people reserved them with towels early morning. It was very annoying to be at a beach property and have to sit by the pool instead of the beach. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the dinner buffet was not great. Their gym and spa facility ... Read more

Please do not arrive any earlier than 4 pm! No one will let you in the room before that time. We arrived at 12:30 and were simply told that the room will not be available before 4 pm. We had asked whether there are chances to enter the room any earlier than that and were told to come back at 3 pm and inquire. We did so but the reply was consistently the same: the room is not ready. We went to the reception 5 times in 3 hours, and every time ended up speaking to a different person: nothing helped... The buildings are all beautiful and so well done. The beds are comfortable the private balcony is spacious and the lounge chairs are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the water is filtered. The pools are gorgeous and the restaurants have something for everyone. The flamingos swans and Koy pond are all so beautiful and lovely to watch. The food is fabulous and the service is excellent. The shuttle runs every hour on the half hour to the sister property downtown. The shutt... Read more

Returning to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay is a bit like coming home. - a really nice home! From the moment you are greeted at the lobby to the well wishes until next time, the staff are courteous and friendly. We had the all-inclusive and really enjoyed the food and service at both the Cordeliere and the Bistro. (special thanks to Jose Moreno at the Bistro for doing his best to make eating there a special part of our vacation). It was great to see investment in touching-up the facilities to main... Read more

The grounds were absolutely stunning! Thankfully the pools were great, too, because the beach was very rocky and had a lot of seaweed washed upon it. I wish the owners would have workers pick up all of the trash we saw on the beach, though.

Although the hotel is advertised as luxury and it looks luxury it is beginning to be like an Apple vacation. There are not enough beach chairs for those wishing to sit by the pool. Lots of arguments. In fact it is so bad there were families sitting in the grass on beach towels. They built new buildings but did not add enough pool space for the additional crowds. In addition, at night it is hard to get into one of the only two restaurants in the evening.
