We stayed at the Luna Palace for New Years eve last year. We found the hotel to be very nice. English is limited by the staff but so is my Spanish. We were still able to communicate and really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the place. The beds were the most comfortable we have had in Mexico and the cleaning staff excellent .The room was ocean front with a nice sized balcony and the beach was very nice and quiet. All in all we really enjoyed the hotel and will return again

We were happy with the spaciousness of our room and its location away from the pool area, overlooking the water and the beach. We even saw whales spouting in the distance as we relaxed on our deck late one afternoon. The water off the beach was very swimmable 90% of the time and we saw first hand that many people, not just the lifeguards, are watching the swimmers. More Spanish than English is spoken by the staff but we were happy to have a more Mexican atmosphere. It was a great place to get ou... Read more

Great for price. Right on beach, every room has ocean/sunset view and a balcony, and while we were there it was very relaxing - not on the busiest part of the beach, and really not that busy (we were there the week after Thanksgiving). Staff is helpful and many speak English, which was helpful for us! Each room has small kitchenette and eating area. Very clean, beds comfortable. It's not new or otherwise high-class but the price makes it worth it. Some things that were annoying - they want yo... Read more

First the good- good location- great staff- breakfast buffet great- fantastic sunsets- loved the room- pool was very nice and some days even warm- every room has great ocean views. Now the not so good- this is not a resort where you come to relax, nap by the pool etc. This hotel seems to be more for the Nationals than the Gringos, which is okay but very noisy. Zumba style, rap, hip- hop style music starts at nine and goes till five. Very loud 90% of the time, causing yelling etc. by the guests. ... Read more

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. The facilities are not high and, but the location and the helpfulness of the employees makes up for that. I am staying next-door at the Pueblo Monique though and my friends are staying here and we are spending most of our time here due to the flood level need to being an overbooked timeshare purgatory. I would recommend this place for future travel.

I have been staying at Luna for over 20 years. My favorite is 5002 or 6002. Oceanfront comfortable bed when you take off the plastic.sheet I don't know why they put it on, but the maid said it was para ninos Thats my only grip Great beach, Great staff. I speak Spanish so that helps. Some of the staff will only want to speak English. You can't beat the price or location. I went with a friend to Pueblo Bonito and that place sucks. Downtown Mazatlan is in a renaissance Check out Plaza Machado for... Read more

Wee Love this Place,we bin here 3 times, the Junior suites we bin having each time, Plus as far as we know now the best Place if you want to spend a lot of time in the Ocean with your Kids, you can go far in with the Kids and its not deep and not as many waves, becauce of those 2 Islands. its good you can make your own Food there you have your own little cabinet. its a place if you don't want to spend much money, you don't have too, but you can still visit the beautiful Ocean.

I had been here before and I think the administration has changed because this time we where disappointed about the service that we got. Please do not lose your wrist band, if you do you are going to have to pay 250 pesos for a replacement they are made of poor quality. There's no customer service at the pool bar. Please consider other options.

The Best place to stay....todo es perfecto. Water aerobics every day, the food is great, the pool is wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with every thing you need if you want to make your own meal.

The best hotel to stay in Mazatlán in 'La Zona Dorada' / 'Sábalo County'. Comfort, Service, Food, attractive options to relax and the near situation to the sea made our time in the Pearl Of the Pacific unbelievable! Thank u so much! Greetings from Germany
