The front desk staff have always been friendly and helpful. The rooms have a small balcony that overlooks the beach. Most rooms have two double beds with faded linens but are spacious enough for a couple of nights. Nothing special about these rooms and they are quite dated. The best thing about this hotel is that it is directly across from one of the best mariscos stands anywhere. The pulpo/camaron cocktails they serve, only at lunchtime, are the best you will ever have. It was my fourth time... Read more

Although we arrived during the worst March rains in Manzanillo in 30 years, the hotel staff welcomed us and conducted business as usual. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and midday meal. Bar open in the evening. The friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, pool and beach at our door step along with the funky retro style more than offset any minor inconveniences. We loved it and would stay there again. And, oh, the fabulous sunsets.

We absolutely LOVE to go for Sunday breakfast at this funky 70s Manzanillo beach hotel and imagine it as it was 40 to 45 years ago, bustling with all the Hollywood stars of the day. Great views of Santiago Bay, authentic Mexican cuisine at great prices, and friendly, attentive staff, keep bringing us back Sundays. Well worth a visit and, like I said, make sure to bring your appetite. You won't be disappointed, I assure you.

Went here during the summer one of the best places!! The hotel is clean, wonderful staff and the beach is amazing!! Not much people so it doesn't feel very crowded. You get amazing views of the beach during sunset and sunrise.

Old place but well maintained. I would go back. Good price for a 2.5 star. Food was OK for the price. People that complain just want more than they pay for and take it out on the staff. Has a great view and the staff was very helpful. Please tip these folks.
