"Just returned from a 1 night stay in the Karmina Palace. The hotel and room were both very nice and the staff friendly and efficient throughout. However when we tried to book dinner in one of the restaurants we were told that as we were only there for 1 night we could only use the Buffet restaurant. "

"Just returned from 6 nights at this resort. We have a family of 4 and stayed in one the master suites w/ the plunge pool. HUGE suite! Very clean and nice, although getting a little dated. Views were incredible. It was nice to have the patio, lounge chairs and plunge pool to relax in after a day of activity. Getting room service every morning as a part of the Premium package was a great bonus. Premium package also offered top shelf liquor which was plentiful. Pools were very nice and the grounds immaculate. Al carte restaurants were decent, the tenderloin filet at the Italian restaurant was the best of the group. Buffet is typical all inclusive fare, better than average for Mexico. The pork tacos were always great. We tried the snorkeling trip but there were too many jellyfish to go in. The water was cold and mirky anyway - the only downer of the trip. Staff was friendly and attentive. The only thing that is poor is the smog coming from the nearby power plant. It never comes near the resort, but kind of ruins the great view to the south. Great value for the money spent, definitely the nicest room we have ever had at an all inclusive."
