Terri from Chicago, Illinois had this to say:
"I read a few reviews of this resort on tripadvisor.com and most were good but some just average. I booked this trip during my 11 year old's spring break from 03/28-04/03/09. We got a great deal which made me even more nervous about the resort. Well, we were so very pleased with everything the resort had to offer. The staff is the best I've seen in Mexico, and we have been to Cancun, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen. The resort was a little crowded, but it was spring break after all. The shows were surprisingly good, the food was good, especially at Marco Polo's, and the wait staff could not have been more efficient and helpful. The rooms were spotless every day and the fridge was restocked with beer, soda, and bottled water. There was plenty of activities going on for those who bore easy. Do not hesitate bringing your family to this resort. I want to go back now!!!"

Deb from Toledo, Ohio had this to say:
"It is very family friendly. Our concierge was spectacular. I didn't care for the food too much, it seemed the same every day for 7 days and the 'fancy' restaurant food was a little disappointing. My husband and I both lost weight on this vacation which is not all bad. The hotel was very clean and there were no 'drunks' running around which kind of surprised me at an all inclusive resort. FYI don't stop at the airport at the counter! All they want is a time share appointment. The excursion was a lot of fun, snorkeling, whale watching and a trip thru Cabos and a glass factory. A really great bargain. The Tiki party and fire dance was fabulous but the food was really marginal. The in-house shows were family friendly, my husband liked them too. There were a LOT of kids at this resort. We had a spectacular view of the ocean from our balcony and enjoyed room service many times at $5 per time, great deal! "

Bryon from burlingame, kansas had this to say:
"Great place to take the family. The Facilities are kept extremely clean. The food could be better, but it was by no means bad. The staff was great, especially the waiters. Avoid the time share sells pitch at all costs, unless you are actually interested. Don't bite on the carrots they give you just to go...its not worth it!!"

A Recent Traveler from ontario, ca had this to say:
"We stayed at the Royal Solaris Los Cabos, Mexico Jan. 4-11th 2009. The pillows on the beds are very uncomfortable and flat. One piece of luggage was lost and the front desk refused to make any calls to the air lines for us to help find it. They said it cost them $4.25 per minute and I would have to get a calling card and do it myself. A time share guy finally felt sorry for me and made the call him self and drove all the way to the air port and picked it up after 3 days of trying to get it back. I was very happy. One tip that comes to mind is do not stop and talk with anyone in the air port what so ever. Go directly to the out side and look for the guy holding the sign for your ride to the resort. The pool water was very cold. The kids water park was great its a brand new Noah's Ark theme which is fantastic. The girls that work the kids center are very good with the kids and love to make crafts with them. Lots of good thing for the kids to do. The night time shows leave a lot to desire. Kind of boring. Over all it was a great time. We would go back. "
