Driving directions from Los Cabos International Airport:

Exit airport and turn right onto the Trans peninsular Highway (Hwy 1) through San Jose del Cabo. At end of highway continue straight and proceed through Cabo San Lucas on Av Lazaro Cardenas, which becomes Blvd Miguel Angel Herrera. Proceed up a hill by following signs to resort. Turn left on Via de Lerry and proceed to resort entrance.

Complimentary shuttles operate along the resort's steep mountain side 24 hours a day. Taxis are available at the resort. Between 10am and 10pm (hours subject to change), guests receive complimentary shuttle service to companion resorts Pueblo Bonito Rose and Pueble Bonito Los Cabos Blanco, which are located on safe-swimming, water-sports-friendly Medano Beach 6 blocks from down town Cabo San Lucas on the Baja Peninsula's Sea of Cortes side.

"The room, view and the spa were excellent. The staff were friendly, but you did have to seek them out at times. The grounds were beautiful, but it was mainly set up as a time share resort and not an all-inclusive. Had to make reservations for almost everything, even the buffets. Was pressured everyday to go on a time share tour."

"Great trip to Cabo. The resort was fabulous. A couple of notes - the resort is all-inclusive, but many things there aren't included (coffee shop - smoothie shop - themed party meals - 'prime rib' night) and you don't simply go get food as you do at many all inclusives. Since the resort has 'owners' as well who aren't on AI you need to do a billing process and sign off every time you do anything. This was a little cumbersome with teenagers who wanted quick food. It is mainly meals - not a lot of snack type things. Staff was amazing. Very clean and up-to-date. Everyone helpful. Very safe. Everyone spoke English. Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. Only issue was the not-included items that require an upcharge and the extra hassle of billing for eating. We left an item in our hotel room and the staff was amazing on helping us get it shipped home. Wonderful place - you should just understand the food issues so you are not disappointed if that is a problem for you."

"This resort is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. The best vacation we ever had - so much so we are now proud owners! Yes we bought there. I recommend this place if you love the ocean and beautiful surroundings. If the thought of picking up a phone and have a cart come pick you up and take you to your destination in the resort and if you love spectacular views not to mention weather. And the food - very good.

The least friendliest people are your concierge's which is a shame as its their job to be friendly, other then that perfection!"

"My husband and I had never been to Cabo San Lucas before this trip. We planned this trip for our honeymoon and it has become one of our favorite places to visit. The resort played a huge part in why we enjoyed our trip so much. Pueblo Bonito Sunset was one of the few resorts on the Pacific side of Cabo which makes watching the sunset wonderful! It is also built up on the mountainside so it was very different from the resorts that we visited in downtown Cabo. If you want to be right on the beach or close to downtown then check out the sister hotel Pueblo Bonito Rose. Sunset is only a 15 minute free shuttle from downtown Cabo and being a bit away gives it some tranquility and beauty. The staff, the landscaping, the food, the rooms, everything was superb. We highly recommend it to anyone that is deciding on where to stay for there first time visiting Cabo. We will for sure stay here again in our next visit to Cabo San Lucas."
