We had the best time at La Mision last year was not good and there was a little hicup at the beginning of this year but they handled everything for us and made us comfortable and treated us very well. I love this place will come back again next year and tell everyone I know, this is where to stay in Loreto.

Close to the marina if you go to fish. You can walk to and from there, 2 blocks. The staff are all nice people. If you catch fish they will cook it very well and reasonable price. I have stayed here 5 times and it is always a very good experience.Walk into town (10 min.) and check out La Mision the first on El Camino Real from Baja to Northern California built in1658 and visited by Cortez and St. Junipero Serra in 1697 which is the name of a good restaurant in the square and the one next door i... This is our first visit to Loreto, Mexico and what a treasure! Beautiful Sea of Cortez views, clean city, friendly and fun to explore! We rented a jeep and have toured the entire area...very safe! Love the people, wonderful staff, service and setting! We will be back for sure! Weather is in the 80's but wonderful breezes and low humidity compared to FL. Rooms are squeaky clean with beautiful verandas bay front. Love it!

Beautiful hotel in Loreto, Mexico. If you want to get the true flavor of Baja in a luxurious setting, then definitely stay here. The location is excellent. It's in town and directly across from the Malecon boardwalk. We had a terrific view of the Sea of Cortez from our lovely room. The hotel is steps away from the Mission Loreto and fun shops. The staff is super friendly. The meals in Olivos restaurant are delicious and creative. Truly fine dining. Special cheers to Executive Chef Leonardo and w... Read more

This is our third time staying at La Mision Hotel, in the past 3 years. It is a beautifully appointed classical Spanish style hotel with marble floors, AC, and a friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant offers excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is a Starbucks in the lobby.

Loreto is one of Mexico‚??s beautiful ‚??pueblo magicos‚?? and the Mision Hotel on the waterfront does not disappoint. It is a large hotel with a very smart reception area staffed by friendly, uniformed desk clerks and bell-hops. Most of the rooms surround a large swimming pool and the upper floors have a sea view. They are large with two double beds and a bathroom with a good walk in shower. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here for three separate nights because we had organised tw... Read more

The staff were always busy and doing a great job, specifically the maintenance, bar and restaurant staff. We also had the pleasure of having back and full body massages by Nora. She was great! Friendly workers who attended every need...often before we even knew we had them! Great food and drinks. Immaculate rooms and facilities. The list goes in and on. We traveled with a group of 18 and loved our time. With this being our 2nd trip down, we were impressed that most of the staff had remained current from the previous trip. ... Read more

This is a mid range hotel. Location is great, it's waking distance to town and there's a fantastic sea food restaurant next door. It's definitely a sprig breaker hotel so if you want something quiet then go somewhere else. If you're looking for a quick break or you want to party then it's a good choice. The food is mediocre but there are great restaurants walking distance. If you have a chance, go see the whales. It's a definite highlight.

Only stayed one night, but it was exactly what we needed. Friendly staff, clean and up to date, nice pool and poolside bar. Easy walk to town as well. I won't have to spend time thinking about where to stay next time, this is a no-brainer. Very reasonably priced too, unless you are looking for that cheap deal in Mexico, but you get what you pay for. So I see this as a great value. Would consider this mid-range price for this area but feels like a luxury for the area.

My sister and I went to this hotel on the recommendation of a friend, and after a day of snorkeling with sea critters of all sorts, we decided to stop in on our way to our cruise ship. We sat in the pool/bar area and had a wonderful margarita and fabulous nachos. Great way to finish a nice shore excursion in a lovely old town. I can't rate the actual hotel itself for service, room rate/etc., but the pool/bar area gets 5 stars.

Very noisy at night; street between hotel and waterfront is the place people in Loreto cruise with radios on full blast--at least on Friday and Saturday nights. Occasionally smells of raw sewage from someplace nearby.
